Holding up a hand the figure waved off the Gardevoir's worry. "No, it won't be too difficult. Especially for someone like him. I just need someone with alot of reach." Looking slightly to his right, a warm puff of air came from under the hood. "I considered throwing a request up in this Guild, but I don't think they really handle things off continent like Dunban does. This is more a job for independent Exploration and Rescue Teams ya know? Less restrictions on where they can go for jobs."

Shifting around under the cloak a bit, the jingle of metal quietly sounded off. The tone of the raspy voice shifting back to a more casual, friendly sounding one once again. "Anyways, that's all I really needed from ya Pyyrha. If it's ok with you, I might be able to tag along when you head to Sahra Town to meet the guy. I can provide some protection for you too. I don't really need money at the moment, so it'd be on the house."

Devon the Totodile

Devon managed to tear his gaze off of the creepy dude and turn back to his friends with a happy smile and a nod. "Great idea Lilisette! Let's go find a spot uh...." Pointing a claw across the plaza, the three other children would be able to follow the reptiles point to an empty bench set up outside of a small building with blinded windows. "Let's try that bench over there!"

Walking swiftly off near the edge of the crowd forming near the Guild, Devon plopped down onto the bench and leaned back to stare up at the giant leaves above him. A loud demanding rumble came from the Totodile's stomach as he held it with some discomfort. "Ugh...I haven't eaten all day. Kinda got distracted by something when I went to have lunch. Glyph said there was fruit in these bags right?"

Leaning to his left to rummage through the bag, his face pulled up into a grin. "Jackpot!" He stated happily as a bright red apple was pulled from the satchel. Wasting no time what so ever as the species was known for, the Big Jaw Pokémon began to annihilate the poor fruit with his dagger-like teeth. The juice and skin pieces flying onto his body were of very little concern to him at the moment.

In a little over five full seconds, there was nothing left of the juicy fruit besides it's tooth mark ravaged core. Staring at it a bit with a frown, Devon shrugged and tilted his head back to toss the core into the grasp of his maw. Chewing up and swallowing it whole. Seeds and all. Finally taking notice of the mess he made on himself, he parted his lips and began to bathe with small little spurts of water. "You know, this is actually pretty awesome. I know for a fact humans can't spray water from their mouths whenever they want." He commented.

Finally with the dramatic food murder over, he let his tiny legs dangle over the edge as he looked to his friends. "So, we're all Guild members now. What should we do? Can we all do missions together?"

Petra's story did nothing to convince the Guild Veteran. In fact, the story only caused Letho to smirk and cross his arms. He was just given fuel to his fire after all. Looking down at the crude drawing, he nodded slowly. "Uh huh. Bet you had that mean ol' Gliscor crying home to his mommy. I'll think about it kiddo."

Gren's continued pestering was starting to have an effect on the normally laid back imp, the Sableyes odd gemstone eyes focusing on the male Aron as he let out an irritated sigh. "No, if we find trouble we can't handle, we're all leaving together. You might not even be able to hide, cause it's a Mystery Dungeon. What if a room pops up that doesn't have any places for you to hide? What happens then? I'll tell you what happens; You get trapped in a room with a bunch of strong fully evolved Pokémon that get their kicks from beating the life out of anyone that crosses their path."

Mouth contorting in a displeased frown, his sharp gaze pierced Grens. "If you're seriously thinking of ditching us for another Aron kid you literally just met and running off into a dungeon with them, sorry, it's not gonna happen Gren. There's alot of things I like about this job. Telling someones family that I let the Pokémon die, is not one of those things. We already got a full group of five Pokémon to look after, and the last thing we need is another one. Even if Petra can handle herself in a fight, we just can't risk having another Pokémon we need to keep tabs on down here."

From under the hood, the unknown figures gaze locked onto the glaring Syvleon, bringing out a throaty chuckle from the tall mon."Well he seems pleasant. Don't worry, I promise this won't take long." Shifting his head around under the hood, the tip of a snout poked out for merely a moment before it was overtaken by the shadow again. "I'm not really one for chasing rumours, but I need any lead I can get at this point. I heard that you were talking to Dunban the Defender recently? Do you....Know where he's been working lately? Or maybe where hes going to work? I may have a job for him if he's interested."

Devon continued to watch with a cautious frown as the large cloaked Pokémon that had talked to them before at the Observation Platform was now chit chatting with one of the dancers. It also seemed that Lilisette had both recognized, and taken alot of interest in the Gardevoir member she identified as Pyyrha. Wincing as the Kirlia yelled out the name, the Totodile shook his head out of the daze. "Oh jeez, it's that same creepy guy that talked to us back at the observation deck. What's he talking to her about I wonder?"

Turning around to look back at Selena, Devon crossed his arms. "Well, the Dance Troupes here, and he's probably gonna be awhile with tossing that Furret in the slammer. Why don't we just stay here and wait for him? We'll even be able to catch the show too!"

Finally given confirmation that they could help, Shock and Cyan cheered, Quill cracked a smile as his eyes stayed locked on the road, and Missy did a spin in the air. Shock then shot a wise grin at the guised mon. <See, now was that so hard? Now we can finally kick butt without you getting your ponytail in a tangle!>

Lily attempting to assure everyone that she was fine didn't convince Devon. He'd seen the routine too many times. Something was clearly bothering her. The brown haired teen pushed the bangs out of his eyes and backed off from the girl, yet still remaining with a frown beside her as they walked. "Alright, but if anything else is bugging you, tell us ok?"

Brent reminded everyone of the time, and it made the Sinnoh native stretch out his arms and sigh. "Aaaahhhcool. I didn't really eat much today besides crappy airplane food, so I'll at least be able to grab a bite at the Center."

Time passed as the group made their way along the rather quiet road. Staring up into the trees, Devon caught sight of a small Starly nestled into a small bundle of sticks and dirt. The sight bringing a smile to his face. I wonder how Flappers is doing....Wherever she is, I hope shes happy....

Suddenly a loud CRACK from the edge of the Route caused the small bird to panic and fly off. The crimson hooded Trainer's head immediately whipping towards the source of the noise as Brent commented on it. The teenager held up a cautionary hand as he put himself between the trees and the other kids. "Dunno, but be careful guys. Nasir, Quill, with me. Everyone else get ready too. Somethings coming this way."

Nodding at his Trainer's request, the Monferno walked out beside him and spread his legs apart and limbered up his arms. The Fire-Fighting type bringing them up in front of his chest and curling his callused fingers into iron fists. Gaze locked on the approaching forms. Shock, Cyan, and Missy also psyched themselves up and got ready for conflict as they stood behind Devon. <Alright! Finally some action!> Shock piped.

The flying white canine came from the trees and seemed to knock away it's attacker. Devon's party tensed up and prepared for the worst, that is before they all got a good look at the small thing and Lily brought out her Dex. Huh? A little dog?....I swear I've seen it somewhere before? Devon's eyes grew to the size of baseballs as the robotic voice confirmed his suspicions. Looking quickly to both Lily and the Shaymin, he gasped. "No way! That's a Shaymin!? I've only heard rumours about them!" Turning back to the Grass type his eye brows furrowed. "But this one doesn't look too good. Are you ok buddy? Why were you being chased?"

He never got an answer to that question. Fire blasted out from the trees and knocked the poor Mythic down into Lily's arms. Devon's crew responding to the blast by guarding their eyes. "Gah!"

Oh shit.

The Shaymin's assailants made themselves and their way of going about things pretty clear in the first few seconds. It triggered memories of years past in the scarred Trainer's mind, of the groups that had once assaulted his home regions that had been the center of the media when he was a younger child. The teen bit his lip and grinded his teeth as he stared down the duo and their tough looking mon. Who're these idiots supposed to be? Knights?....Whoever they are, I don't think I like their gig. Time to focus.

Stepping back behind his party of mon, Devon planted his feet firmly on the ground and barked out orders. "Shock, Thunder Wave to open! Cyan, Play Rough on the dragon! Missy, Phantom Force! Take shots when you can! Quill take the knights! And Nasir, bring up some distractions! Help them out and keep those guys off us!"

All of the mon jumped into action at the call for battle. Shock's rubbery body began to spark with electricity as he sprinted out into the midst of the enemy mon. [SHOCK used THUNDER WAVE!] Vibrate yellow rings of violent electricity fired out of the Ampharos' body and straight for the knights and their team.

Cyan sprinted towards the Haxorus, jumping into the air and flipping to slam her tail onto the ground and bounce clear over the plated reptile. [CYAN used PLAY ROUGH!] Spinning in the air like a curve ball, the Marill's mace-like tail began to glow with a soft pink energy as she fell towards the Dragon and attempted to smash it on the top of the head with her empowered weapon.

Quill fell to all fours and jumped around the dirt road turned battlefield as he drew close to the two odd armored humans. Hitting the ground right near the male, [QUILL used FIRE PUNCH!] The Monfero's right hand began to glow with a heated energy until it erupted into flames. Closing the flaming hand into a tight fist as he leapt towards the man to try to deliver the fiery punch to his right knee.

Missy however, was nowhere to be seen. All that remained of the area around the Mismagius was a large purple void that soon faded away into thin air. [MISSY used PHANTOM FORCE!] Appearing silently behind the Dragalge, the ghost's ribbon like arms clasped together and glowing with a haunting purple aura. The smokey energy forming into a sharp tip as she swung it at the Mock Kelp Pokémon's back.

Devon snickered at Lilisette's refusal to bring up the incident moments previous. It really didn't look good for her, but the damage was done and it was known to him. Other than the fact that Lilisette just embarrassed both of us. Peering at the wore bag around the Quilava's shoulder, the Totodile smiled. "That was your Dad's bag huh? It's cool that you're using it Ember. Carrying on the family torch kinda thing." It took a moment to realize what he just said, and he raised up his hands sheepishly. "Pun not intended, sorry."

Looking away over his shoulder in attempts to escape the awful joke he accidentally made, Devon's vision swept across the crowds going about the sunny hub of the tree. Brick was nowhere to be seen, again, but it seemed like there was no more thievery happening at the moment. However, something seemed to be getting all the Pokémon in the settlement antsy. What's everybody looking at? I don't see anything....Wait, hold on. Turning back to his friends he pointed a claw in the direction of the line of various mon following behind a badge barring Altaria. Eyes darting to Lilisette with a questioning stare. "Hey, isn't that the Dance Troupe you were talking about Lilisette?"

The hooded figure had rotated in their seat to watch the happenings in the town. Occasionally taking sips from the wood cup in his grasp and chuckling quietly when one of the many thieves in the square were noticed and quickly disposed of by the Guild members. Idiots... Lifting the cup to his mouth, the figure let the cool liquid flow down his throat as his sharp eyes peered past the lip of his hood. They're here...Just like they said they would be.....It's worth a shot.

Tossing a small pouch on the counter behind him, the tall cloaked figure stood up from his stool and began slowly strolling towards the Gardevoir of the troupe.

Arriving near the Troupe's leader and the Gardevoir around the time that Devon noticed the dancers presence, the figure held up a clawed hand and waved. "Hey there, you must be the famous Pyrrha. Can I talk to you for a minute?" The gravely voice said from under the shadow of his attire. The strong scent of Razz Berry wafting around his form.

A silly smirk was directed towards Breeze as she scolded him. "Simmer down there Breezy. Just a joke, cause I knew she wasn't hurt."

Putting a hand on his chest in a bit of surprise at the Aron known as Petra's fast question, Letho spoke up. Diamond eyes unmoving."I'm Letho, Folio Guild member extraordinaire! And uh...Hate to burst your bubble kiddo but the adventure we're on right now ain't exactly civilian friendly. If you need a lift back to town I can toss ya an Escape Orb if ya need it, but I reeeally wouldn't recommend tagging along with us. Groups pretty full as it is so..."

When Nasir was called out once again for his lone wolf habits, his reply clued Devon into the true nature of the conversation. Causing the teen to sigh and look away. Nasir....Why do you keep doing this? It's so stupid....Maybe Missy can actually get through to him this time....

<....I'm afraid I cannot.> The Mismagius kept her worried gaze on the disguised Zoroark as she laced the end of her arms together. Keeping steady pace as she floated along side him without a sound. <You must realize, that putting yourself before any of us in a combat scenario will not help anyone. You are not the only one who cares, for we all care for you dearly as well Nasir.> Her crooked mouth seemed to distort into a frown. <Preventing us from assisting in fights will lead to you having a greater chance of injury, and that is something that none of us want. If you were to let us take part, it would be less likely for us all to be harmed more than necessary.>

Shock looked down at the two giggling Johto Starters, and smirked as he looked up at the much taller man. <Yeah! Even the kids got more sound logic than ya Foxy! We did just fine keeping everyone safe before we had you on the team, and now that we do, we'll be even better if you let us help right? C'mon!>

Then everyone was distracted by Lily's sudden pause. A confused look on her face soon turning into one of anxiety as Brent convinced her to keep walking and ignore the 'voice', that she somehow heard. The raggy dressed teenager's head panned across the path, and into the trees along side them with an uncomfortable frown on his face. "I uh...I didn't hear anything either. It was a voice right? If you could tell it was actual words, there's no way it was just the wind."

Looking over at Shock, Quill, Missy, Nasir and Cyan walking next to him on his right, Devon crossed his arms. "You hear anything guys? You all have more sensitive ears than we do."

A quick head shake of 'No' came from four of the mon. Cyan looked down at the dirt path below her and pursed her lips. <Usually I hear everything but...I didn't hear a voice. At least not one talking about being chased. I just hear alot of birds in the trees talking about other things.>

The scarred Trainer turned his head up from his party to walk up beside Lily and look down at her with misty brown eyes. "You sure you're ok Lily? If it were like, someone hiding in a bush messing with us these guys would have picked it up big time. Not saying I doubt you though, maybe it was really just you that heard it?"

Devon nearly fell over once Lilisette pulled away from the kiss, wobbling on his feat as the vigor was left completely drained from his body. He yelped as he was pulled into the forced embrace. Expecting some more payback, the Totodile winced and closed his eyes...Only to instead feel a relaxing calm feeling wash over him. A contented sigh escaped his jaws as his strength slowly returned. "Ahhh......You're still a total jerk." A smirk cracked on his lips as the words came out.

The entire situation was extremely awkward to look at from the Poliwrath's point of view. The muscly mon watched as the Kirlia girl attempted some sort of attempt at a recovering the situation to make it less so. When all was said and done, and Lilisette gave her shit eating smile, Brick narrowed his eyes. "Uh...Huh." Peering down at the kids bags, a 'hmpfh' escaped Brick from....Somewhere. It was hard to tell on a Pokémon with no visible mouth. "Seems like all of you are newbies. So pushing your boyfriend into the spotlight isn't really helping you look any better kiddo. It's fine, we were all rookies at one point. Welcome to the Guild."

Raising a defiant claw, Devon grumbled. "Thanks. And I'm not her boyfriend. That kiss was some sort of Move to get payback on me. Which totally wasn't cool, since unlike her I didn't get a warning."

A short snicker came from the sturdy blue Tadpole. "Heheh, sure. Anyways, you must be that Totodile the Guildmaster asked us to find eh Devon?"

A quick nod was given to the older mon as Devon stood up straight and weaselled out of Lilisette's arm. "Yup. And these are my friends, Lilisette and Selena." The reptile then pointed to the two as he called out their names.

Raising a humongous hand to wave down at the trio, Brick 'smiled'. "Hey guys. I'm Brick, but I guess you already knew that." Taking the extended arm the fighter flexed it. Huge masses of muscle bulging in the biceps. His other hand pointing a finger gun at the three. "Glyph sent you guys to the right Pokémon. You need some training, I can supply a whole lot of it. When I'm done with ya, you'll be the toughest mon on this side of the sea."

Pumping a fist, Devon developed a sharp toothed grin. Eyes lighting up as he looked up at the Poliwrath. "Awesome! When do we start?"

Brick's gloved finger pointed up to the branches above as he winked. "Right now! I think everyone else has it handled here in town. If you all wanna follow me to the Guild's training sp-" A deep look of disapproval clouded over Brick's round white iris as his pupils darted to his left. "....One sec you guys. I got another sticky fingered thief I need to take care of. Seems like all of em are coming out of the woodwork today."

Turning and marching past the party, the Poliwrath cracked his knuckles and set his menacing gaze on the Furret currently trying to feel around a Volbeat's satchel with the tip of it's tail while distracting the Bug with conversation as they walked along side each other. "It's not really helping my mood."

Devon watched from a distance, brown eyes wide in both amazement, and fear as he watched the Furret being apprehended by Brick and carried off further into the town by the angry Water Fighter. "...Whoa. He literally tied that Furret into a knot. I didn't even know that was possible."
