Welp, they removed the tracker in a location based....tracking....game. Good one Niantic, Pokémon hunting in GO just had to be more random didn't it?

Bio

Roleplay topics of interest: Pokémon is a big one. The canon of the main series games specifically, though I'm cool with a few select points from the anime thrown in. I'm also a big fan of the Mystery Dungeon universe. I'm good with RP'ing as a Trainer, but I can handle playing a Pokémon too. I prefer to have alot of interactions between the characters in an RP. I enjoy to flesh things out and give my character actual 'character'. Original worlds? Eh, I'm ok with as long as I got alot of background to them.

Recently, I've been in the mood to try RP in other series/fandoms, so if I can be sold on an idea, I'll probably look into it. Let it be known that I'm not into anything 18+ or sexual in nature. It's just not my thing.

Roleplay style: For each post that I make, I write about a paragraph or two. I try to include a bit of environmental detail, physical character detail, and sometimes delve into the mind of my characters to see what they think about the situation at hand. I'm trying to get better at expressing my characters emotion through body language since I tend to run out of descriptive words after a few posts. Most of my characters will most likely be teen aged or occasionally young adult. I also try to keep my characters male, but I can play a girl well enough.

Timezone: I feel this is an important thing to mention. My timezone is EST (GMT/UTC-5). During pretty much every month of the year baring July, August, and the later half of December, I'll be going though school during the week. So I'll most likely be able to get posts out on the weekends or later in the day when I get home.

The crimson hoodied teen crossed his arms and pursed his lips and nodded as Wye explained the goal of his journey. "So you record battles for your parents research. That's cool. Sometimes I record some of my Monferno's battles and send em to my buddy Louis to help him with doing Fire moves."

The seasoned older Trainer then began to answer Celes' question about his home town, and proved it's affinity for Dragon-type's by tossing out a Pokémon that caused Devon to freeze up for a few seconds. Staring at Walden for a few awkward moments, the scarred Trainer's gaze travelled down to his sleeved right forearm. Gripping it in his left hand and rubbing it. "Oh, uh, hi Walden. I haven't seen a Gabite in a super long time..."

Brooks' off handed comment of having battled the apparent Dragon-type Gym caused Devon's gaze to shift over for a moment to rest on him. No surprise there...He's got a Feraligatr, so he must be pretty experienced already....Plus he fought off those freaky knights....Brooks kinda reminds me of Jake....I wonder what a battle between both of their Feraligatrs would be like....Probably awesome.

Wye's observations on his Totodile and both Brent and Michael's comments caused Devon to raise a hand and add his two cents. "I'm actually friends with Professor Rowan, from Sinnoh. According to him, evolution isn't a tell tale sign of a Pokémon's age or power. I'm sure Blu is probably a great ass kicker even though she's still a Totodile. My Marill Cyan is only second stage and she's pretty tough." A smile washed over the brown eyed boy's face as he put his arms behind his head. "I like what your brother said Brent. It's their choice for what way they wanna get stronger. Evolution, training, I'm cool with whatever the Pokémon wants."

The Pokémon in the room took to their own conversation. And although she was a bit hesitant at first, Missy soon floated down near the floor to join the smaller Pokémon with a somewhat wondering stare. <I don't know about him going for the Pokémon League Tournament of this region, but to answer your question Blu, yes. Devon and our team will be attempting to clear as many of Viore's Gym's as we can in our short few weeks that we will be staying here.>

The Mismagius clasped her arm ribbons near her 'stomach' and gave a polite bow to the small crocodile. <I wish you luck in your own future Gym challenges. Both you and Walden.> Raising herself back up straight, she smiled at the shark-like mon. <I don't think it's impossible for this to be his first Gym challenge. It was quite sometime before I ever found myself inside one for the first time.>

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Folio Town - Town Square]

@Ninian
The giant froze up as the Emotion Pokémon took the most uncomfortable escape route she could, between his legs again. His cheeks turned a bit pink for a moment as he looked back down at Pyrrha and joined in the chuckle. "Uh...Yeah. But that's most kids really."

The Psychic dancer marvelled over Raiden's offered money, and it simply caused him to smile and nod. "I'm certain. If I ever need more, I can just pull off a few jobs. Even so, money isn't exactly important to me." The genuine, happy smile shown off by Pyrrha caused Raiden's own to develop the same sort of intensity. "You're welcome Pyrrha. And thank you. I try to be."

With nothing more to say, the gator was preparing to turn away and walk off. But just before he managed to move his legs, Pyrrha spoke up with words that rattled his body to the core like a bolt of lightning. Raiden's orange eyes shrunk down to mere pricks as his bottom jaw hung agape. Staring at the dancer's hung head for a moment before looking away and closing his mouth.

I-I shouldn't....Should I?....It's....Not like it would wreck any of our plans....I don't even really have a goal up here....But then there's Genji.....No, I can make this work. I'll just call him while she's still talking with the crowd...Make sure he's ok, then I can have dinner with them......I can't believe this is really happening....

The panic and stress washed off of the Feraligatr's face like dirt being scrubbed off from a light rain. A confident grin taking his maw as he looked back down at the Gardevoir. "I'd love that. I haven't been able to sit down and have an actual meal in days. Thank you."

Looking around at the crowd still gathered around the Troupe, Raiden put a hand on his hip. Causing his elbow to awkwardly jut out from under his cloak. "Looks like you guys'll be busy with this crowd for a few more minutes huh? That'll give me some time to get ready. Then I'll meet you at the Guild. That sound good?"

Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Rhys' Clinic]

@Ninian
Lilisette's timely appearance brought a big smile to Devon's face as he waved at her. Clutching his stomach and looking to the Chimecho cleric to confirm the Kirlia's claims. "Seriously. My stomach feels like it's trying to eat itself." He complied with Rhys' check up, taking his hands away from his body and opening his maw up when gestured to. A sharp toothy grin stole the Totodile's features when he was good to go. "I will. Thanks Rhys. You're a life saver."

Sitting up from the table and placing the rags on his body off to the side, the Big Jaw Pokémon turned himself to face Lilisette and join in the cheer with a raised fist. "Oh yeah I am! Let's go!" With that said, Devon pushed himself clear off the table to fall a short ways towards the ground.

....And hit it feet first, letting out a sharp hiss and stumbling onto his butt. A sort of pained wince disgracing his face as he rubbed his legs and shifted over to grab his bag. Throwing it over his shoulder again as he smirked at Lilisette. "Looks like my legs are still jelly...Damn it."

Starting to walk once again, the frog quickly nodded. "Indeed. Rox should be waiting for us just past this neighbourhood to give us both a ride to the ground. Then, we can traverse the lower trunk in search of the corpse whenever it is you feel comfortable. But from the ferocious style of the guardian murderer, it would be wise to analyze the body's wounds as soon as possible. Come along Alias."

And with the threat of the 'Shadow-type' looming over head, the thieves departed.

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Folio Town - Town Square]

@Ninian
The gator kept his smile as the Gardevoir thanked him for his comment. "No problem. Really made the trek here worth i-" The giant cut himself off as he looked downwards in confusion to see a random blue Kirlia crawling between his legs. When she stood up and apologized to him for interrupting, he crossed his arms and nodded. Smile returning to his face. "It probably is. Go ahead kid."

Spinning slightly on his heel to turn away from the two of same evolutionary line as they conversed, Raiden reached up and scratched at his nose a bit. When the blabber mouthed Psychic Fairy apologized for the second time he simply gave a shrug. "Really, it's fine."

What the overly excited Emotion Pokémon had to say however caused the Feraligatr to frown as he listened in. She's looking for him too....Seen that coming.....I guess it doesn't matter....

The conversation came back to Raiden, and the towering scaled mon turned back to Pyrrha with the same kind smile. Slightly chuckling at the Kirlia's protest. "Nah it's fine. And no, not really. I just wanted to give you these." A clawed hand reached out from under the Water-type's cloak. In it's palm with a good sized cloth pouch tied off with simple white string. Holding it towards the dancer he scratched his head with a free hand. "There should be enough coins in there for all of ya. Thirty for each if my math isn't off. And don't worry about me breaking my bank, money isn't everything."

Letho the Sableye
[Folio's Trunk - Treacherous Roots B3]

@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher
Everyone appeared to agree with his plan, causing Letho to put up that sparkling sharp grin again and shoot finger guns at his team mates. "Alright, let's jump a plant."

Tip toeing back down the narrow corridor while gesturing for the other three to follow, the imp stopped at the corner to look around it and into the small room once again. The Darkness Pokémon held up a single claw to his team and whispered. "Ok, wait for my signal guys. I'm gonna drag him over here."

With the instructions given, the Sableye seemed to just 'melt' into the floor and disappear. [LETHO used SHADOW SNEAK!] A flat, black oval stretched on the ground from where the Dark Ghost had stood and creeped it's way towards the Roserade in the next room. Edging it's way ever closer to the unbeknown Grass-Poison type until the oval's tip had succeeded in making it's way behind the patrolling Bouquet Pokémon. The form of the Guild member soon rose up out from the shadow in a purplely aura. A maniacal grin on his face as he stood up fully and held out his hands that began to pulse with a dark energy. "Yo, buddy, did you order a Dark Pulse? Or did I get the wrong tuft of grass?"

Whipping around with a sudden gasp, the Roserade's eyes widened as it felt the force of a concrete pole slam into it's chest. [LETHO used DARK PULSE!] A pained grunt escaped the masquerading mon as it was sent flying off through the room, landing hard on it's back near the corridor where Fuse, Breeze, and Gren laid in wait.

Groaning and cursing to itself as it got up, the now black scarred Roserade starred daggers at the giggling imp across the room as he shouted. "NOW GUYS! BLAST EM AND PIN EM!"

Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Rhys' Clinic]

@Ninian
With the end of the dance show, Ember and Selena made their exit and said their goodbyes. Raising a hand himself, Devon called out and waved to his friends. "I will! See ya guys!"

Now, the Totodile-once-human was alone again. For the first time since he arrived in Folio's Trunk. The soft sounds of what seemed to be a wind-chime jingled through the halls of the small clinic, no doubt Rhys checking on the other patients. Starring at the ceiling, the scaled child sighed and closed his eyes.

So...I almost got killed by a psycho Gardevoir, made good friends, joined a Guild, got zapped by a thief, and now I even formed my own team......I know, Lilisette and Glyph said that I'm supposed to be some great hero that stops a war but...What was I before? A human....There's only Pokémon around here, and from the sounds of it, it's the same everywhere else.....Where did I come from? What was my life like before I turned into a Totodile and was brought here?.....Who are my old friends?...There....There was a voice. It talked to me after I got knocked out from the shocks...

"Devon!"

The Big Jaw Pokémon's face visibly scrunched up. His brain straining itself, forcing the memory of the voice out from the unconscious void.

...I know that voice....It makes me feel happy... Then a frown disgraced Devon's maw. ...And for some reason really annoyed. He's my friend though. I know that much....What's his name?...J..Ja..Jack?...James?...No, wait it's-

"Jason."

He said the name out loud. The silence of the relaxing clinic room broken by his own raspy voice. Devon's eyes slowly creaked open to let him stare at the ceiling again and smile. Yeah....His name is Jason. I've known him since we were kids....Where is he I wonder? Is he somewhere with the rest of the humans?.....I need to look into this when I get the chance....Maybe Glyph knows something? He's pretty knowledgeable....

Another, less pleasant sound rumbled through the patients room. Blinking, Devon put his claws down to rest on his now growling stomach. The uncomfortable gurgling feeling inside urging him to shift a bit to peak over the side of the table and down to the floor where his Guild bag sat. A disappointed sigh escaped the Totodile as he knew that he could not reach the fruit inside of it without tumbling off the table and probably causing more un-needed injury. "Hey, Rhys? Are you there? When do you think I can leave? I feel a little better..."

Devon the Totodile
[Valiant Village - Main Street]

@Ninian
The panicked and flustered child simply blinked at the Mawile when she revealed what his purpose in this strange new place actually was. Raising a hand to his chest he lightly touched it. "I'm....Supposed to save the world? Uh..."

It was a pretty big pill to swallow, but Celty was right. Spirit would at least give him a bit more info. Nodding, Devon crossed his arms. "Yeah, I figured he might know something since he's a leader around here. Even if he doesn't know much, every little bit helps."

A sort of awkward smile came over the croc's jaws as he looked over Celty. "I know I know, I won't. Thanks for hearing me out Celty. Come on, let's get to the Dojo." Turning around, Devon began walking down the dirt path again. Albeit with misty eyes as he looked off into the small village.

So I have to save the world huh?.....Hopefully this'll all makes sense after I talk to Spirit

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Folio Town - Town Square]

@Ninian
The dance show came to a fiery close, and Raiden added to the thunderous cheers and applause with his own loud clapping. The towering Pokémon stood up from the wall and began wadding his way through the crowd of ecstatic fans on his way to the Trunk's entrance. But something soon caused him to slow and look back at the mobbed dancers with a slight frown. ....I'll go say hi, give them a few coins, then I'll go find Genji.

Swiftly turning around and being careful not to accidentally smack any of the smaller mon around him with his wide tail, the gator shuffled through the crowds. Slowly edging closer to the Troupe until he reached what appeared to be the outer ring of civilians currently having an audience with each of the dancers. Glancing at the currently occupied Pyrrha, the Feraligatr shrugged and looked down to mess with something under his cloak. Soon one of his meaty scaled hands appeared from under the cloak from near his chest holding two objects. The same milky pearl and odd metal tube that were both attached to strings around his neck.

Raiden's eyes glazed over as he stared at the two shapes for what seemed like an eternity in his foggy mind. He rolled the pearl around in his palm with his thumb, letting it fall through his fingers in favor of the tube this time. It's color was of a dulled brown, and featured a few small dents. It's aged and weathered appearance matching up well with the rest of the well travelled Water-type's equipment. A tiny latch at the top of the tube indicated the fact that the tube was actually some form of capsule that could be opened.

A sigh escaped him as he quickly shook the fog out of his mind. Letting the tube fall back down under his cloak as the Big Jaw Pokémon turned his head back towards the Gardevoir dancer a good few metres away from him. It seemed like she was just finishing conversing with a Zangoose. A happy smile graced Raiden's cream colored maw as he began to slowly wade through the crowds to get to Pyrrha's location. Hand reaching down into his cloak again to fiddle with what sounded like a pouch of coins.

Finally coming up to the fully evolved Psychic Fairy, Raiden waved a hand in greeting and smiled down at Pyrrha. "Hi again Pyrrha. The show was amazing, just like I heard it was. You guys really pull out all the stops don't ya?"

Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Guild Balcony]

@Ninian
Applauding the ending of the show for a few seconds, the Flygon turned back towards his right hand mon and raised a claw. "Of course, Relm and his Troupe are our honourable guests for the next few days. Dinner will most likely begin in the next half hour."

Adjusting the bag on his shoulder a bit, Glyph walked off towards the door back into the Guild. Turning his head and smiling at the injured Heliolisk as he got up to it. "I will be heading down to the kitchen to assist Dia in setting up. You are free to come help if you wish Robel, but if you would like to rest in your quarters until dinner that is acceptable as well. Goodbye for now, my friend. I hope you feel better soon."

And with that, the dragon crouched slightly to shuffle in through the door and disappear back into the Guild.

Datsu the Toxicroak
[Folio Town - Residential District East]

@Ninian
An odd, rumbling croaking noise emitted from the thief as he closed his eyes and stared at the ground just to the right of his shoulder. "....If you wish to know my honest opinion, the best way to proceed would be to do what we always do. Spectate." Looking up from the floor, Datsu stopped walking completely and smirked at the weasel-like mon. "You know that I have no interest in attaining 'ultimate power' or any of that sort of rubbish. I am a thief, and thievery only calls for dexterous hands and a deceptive disposition. I find that sort of raw strength would give me no benefit, and would only serve to draw attention; make us appear be 'super villains' which the public would not hesitate to retaliate against with lethal force."

The smirk soon turned back into that unsettling toothy smile. "Besides, Alias, this does not necessarily become a threat to us. What would one of such power want with common crooks? No no, I foresee that the guardians murderer has bigger plans in mind, ones that would cause trouble for the folk of this town specifically. Of course, one cannot be too careful. The wisest plan of action would be to analyse the power of this mysterious individual, perhaps make another visit to Deeku's corpse to inspect the wounds before we flee this tree. Gauge the abilities of this Pokémon to find a way to simply counter their power and disable it. Wouldn't you agree?"
Devon the Totodile
[Folio Town - Rhys' Clinic]

@Shiny Keldeo
The name presented by the Bayleef was actually quite good. It made sense, and did have a nice ring to it. Nodding his head from where he lay on the table, Devon smiled warmly at his two friends. "I think it's an awesome name guys. I dig the personal connection to it too. Alright, from this moment forward, me, you two, and Lilisette, are Team Horizon!"

Raising a joyous fist in the air and cheering, the Totodile shuddered and fought through a short spike of pain. Still grinning like an idiot despite the discomfort.

Datsu the Toxicroak
[Folio Town - Residential District East]

@Ninian
A curious brow raised to the Mienshao as he revealed the species of the Pokémon that he forced information out of. "Mew? I've heard the name passed around in whispers, but I've never been fully indulged in the details of their kind. I assume that will change momentarily?"

The unique ability of the elusive Mew fascinated Datsu, the Toxicroak chuckling and staring off at the street ahead as he walked along side Alias. "I do indeed....Someone living in this town is not who they appear to be. How interesting..."

The final bit of information caused the thief to pause, slowing his stride a bit as he turned his head back to the Fighter. "'Shadow Typing'....Now this is very fascinating. A brand new Type, one that no one has ever discovered before this....Alias, what were the effects of this attack? How exactly did this 'Shadow attack' end his life?"

Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Guild Balcony]

@Ninian
The antlion-like mon turned back towards the aching Heliolisk behind him and quickly raised a claw to give a dismissive wave and shake his head. "No no, it's quite alright Robel. I have plans to see both my sister and my nephew sometime this week. Assuring that my friends are well is a fine use for my time if I do say so myself." A happy smile crossed Glyph's face. "And, after this show is done for the evening, we can join the rest of the Guild members for a nice dinner. Dia never fails to impress with his dishes, and I'm quite looking forward to them."

Raiden the Feraligatr
[Folio Town - Town Sqaure]

The scaly blue Pokémon panned his large iris over the huge crowd gathered around watching the fire show. Searching for any sign of his lost companion. No trace of the Greninja was found in the crowd, but his gaze did catch on something. The blue Kirlia watching in one of the rows with an extremely happy expression on her face. The sight even caused Raiden himself to smile momentarily, but the smile soon dropped off the Feraligatr's face as he once again gazed at the Folio Trunk entrance far beyond. If his slimy ass doesn't make an appearance before the shows done, then I'll go looking for Genji. We didn't go through all this just for him to go wander around in a tree stump....

Glyph the Flygon
[Folio Town - Guild Balcony]

@Ninian
A guilty look of concern over took the dragon as he looked back at his friend. "Oh Robel....I will make sure you get the rest you deserve tonight. You really do need it..."

When the Heliolisk approached him and questioned the Sibyl's lack of appearance during the show, Glyph frowned and shook his head. Brows furrowing. "Yes....It appears so. I haven't seen her in days. However, that is not unlike her. Glyde hasn't made an appearance today either, nor has Glen. Perhaps they are with the Sibyl? I do not know. They all could just simply be busy."

Thinking of the mysterious town leader for a few more moments caused the Flygon to open his mouth to speak, but quickly pause and shut it before focusing on the impressive fire dance. The reason for Miratete's absence maybe due to her preparing for what her prophecy will bring.....An army of dungeon dwellers...Rising up to destroy peaceful settlements....It pains me to think that anyone would wish to do such a horrid thing.....I....I will refrain from telling Robel until we're done with dinner...I do not want to ruin the mood of the occasion...

Datsu the Toxicroak
[Folio Town - Residential District East]

@Ninian
The wicked grin that the Mienshao displayed only served to make the Toxicroak smile wider and close his eyes. "Oh hoho, I agree, whole heartily. The 'undesirables' were taken care of by the Folio Guild members just as planned, every hit location was cleared during the dance show, and all of it was done in such an efficient manor! None will be the wiser of our larger goals until the sun crawls out from the horizon and we have long since departed from this town." Raising a gloved hand to his chin, Datsu rubbed and chuckled. "I don't think I've ever seen a town raid go this swimmingly in quite a long time. Ah, it almost brings a tear to my eye..."

Reopening his yellow eyes that appeared to glow in the low light, the thief turned back to his companion with the same unsettling smile still plastered on his face. "But please, do tell what you have discovered Alias. I know it is not the flawlessness of the raid that has you in such a joyous mood, and I am curious as to what makes you so."

Letho the Sableye
[Folio's Trunk - Treacherous Roots B3]

@Shiny Keldeo@Lucius Cypher
The Sableye's diamond eyes flicked over to each of his party members for a moment. Seemingly lost in thought. Fuse has got something with that Alliance....But just rushing in wouldn't be very smart......And there's no fucking way I'm letting Gren rush out there....But if I just force him to stay here he's gonna get pissy again and THEN rush off on his own and die....Hm....We could get this done quicker if we knew more.....Maybe if we....

Snapping his claws and oddly making no noise from the action, Letho gave a sharp grin and a nod to his team mates. "Alright, I got it. Ok, I'll slide into the floor with my Shadow Sneak, get up behind the Roserade, and blast em back over here with a little Dark Pulse." The imp explained as he took two claws and mimed a walking motion, before shoving his open palm out in front of him. "Then, while ol Rosy is stumbling around, trying to figure out why he just got blown up by his own shadow, you three jump in there and hit em with everything ya got. BUT," The Darkness Pokémon raised a claw and flicked it at everyone. "Don't let em fall into dreamland got it? We're flying blind down here for this mission, so a little insight might be nice right? If we keep this walking rose bush conscious long enough to maybe get some info on that Pokémon we're trying to track down, we'll be out of this damn tree stump faster."

Crossing his arms, the ghost 'winked'. "So how about it? Best plan ever amirite?"

Devon Lyton
Shock the Ampharos, Cyan the Marill, Quill the Monferno, Missy the Mismagius, Nasir the Zoroark
[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@Sketcher
The teenager nodded putting his hands behind his head as he gave Brooks a stupid smirk. "Cool, I'll be looking forward to it man." With Lily departing, and a sort of off tone hanging in the room due to the talk of the threatening organization of Team Royal Skies, Devon looked around at everyone gathered as he attempted to think of something else to talk about. His gaze soon landed on the mostly quiet Trainer of group. The black haired young adult of the group had a Totodile on his shoulder, a Pokémon that Devon was all too familiar with. Grinning the teen slightly turned towards Wye. "So, Wye right? What's your story? Did you blow in from Johto too? I'm probably totally wrong, but your Totodile's just giving me clues. I always thought they were the coolest Johto starter."
@Lucius Cypher Soooo no comment from Gren when they're on the verge of battle?
Devon the Totodile
[Valiant Village - Outside the Guild→Main Street]

@Ninian
Celty thankfully didn't call him insane, a sigh of relief escaping the Totodile as the Mawile began to talk about what he assumed to be a friend of hers, and her fascination with what Devon apparently was. The information however, confused and worried him. "Wait, not from this world? I'm from a different one? Then how did I..?"

The utterly confused former human trailed off of his exclamation as the Fairy called upon her observations and agreed to his former statement. Giving a sort of awkward dismissive wave, he bore a frown on his maw. "That's ok. I already kinda got the idea from that conversation I remembered with Nasir....We're way different than Pokémon I guess."

However is was her final statement that was the 'nail in the coffin' for young Devon. Eyes going wide, he gasped. Getting a bit close to Celty to hurriedly whisper. "What!? Why!? Why is something horrible about to happen!? And why is me being human your warning sign!? It's not caused by me right? I'd never want anything bad to happen to you guys!"
