Sorry about my lack of appearances. At this point Im taking a much needed hiatus from here after 5 long years. Not sure when I'll be back, but it won't be for awhile... sorry about that... : (

Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*

Aaaaand to include that I'm also going to play a canon character, I made Soldier: 76's profile, adding everything but his backstory in it. Anything to take in/out when it comes to canon characters?

Edit: Made the backstory.

@Turboshitter Fair point lol in that case, I changed it to be a health dispenser only
And my character has been transfered, as well as added a new ability and bio altered to be in the official Overwatch lore.

@Famotill Looks good from what I see. :)

I'll start transfering one of my characters onto the sheet, then go with a canon, and finally a villain character which I'd make from scratch (maybe).

@Ellri Yeah, that's my priority right now, from getting some more Mod muscle to hardening some of our weak endpoints that the spammers have been taking advantage of.

If you need some more mod muscle, or simply a team of specialized-mods to take care of the after hours (Around 6PM - 6AM PCT, which is when the bots usually thrive), you can count on me as a fellow supporter. Even if I'm/we're not allowed to do anything else BUT simply wipe out Bots, that will be perfectly fine. I'm usually very active around those times and one of the more "to do something against the bots" people you know? :)

(This is also coming from a guy who has hosted a very small RPing board in the past (with proboards) as well as a Mod for two)
Potential interest coming your way. (Man even though I got rid of one RP, I quickly replace it with another. I gotta stop XD)

Eh, I don't like playing more than one character most of the time, and I prefer OCs xD

Fair enough lol
I've got an OC who should serve as a rather interesting counterpoint to Mei if anyone wants to play her :P

Maybe you should play her? I feel like it'll be a very good idea :)
@Jensoman I completely understand your mode of thinking and reasoning. I've been through RPs like it as well and indeed I feel you and ask the very same questions that you ask in RPs like this.

Now why exactly do people do that? To be honest, I'm not sure other then maybe looking at those possible reasons as well. And as much as one wants to keep the RP up and going, sometimes it just won't be able to sustain. You gotta know when to quit and call it a loss. Around 90 - 95% of the RPs on this site tend to loose steam anyways, due to various reasons. It's not too often that one sees a long lasting RP like some of the others on this site. And maybe its not due to the fact that they don't like something. It could just very well be of interest in the subject at hand.

Here's what I do suggest. If you think that the RP will not last much longer, the best situation to do is basically make a reboot of it. Make sure to grab enough loyal people, make sure scenarios are interesting and easy to access for all/most players, and just start again from scratch. Hell, maybe make a whole new plot or flesh out the existing plot if needed.

Again, this is a suggestion. I'm not trying to discourage you to not make another RP again or keep this one going, but I'm just trying to figure out a solution to the problem.
Just be careful not to take on too much. I think, depending on how many people participate, I may have to limit how many characters one person can have. I'm afraid that we'll end up with overload or if someone ends up being unable to commit- a void being created once they leave. I'm working on the character sheet now along with some ground rules. I should be back on to let you all know in a few hours.

I am aware of this. I say one/two for each because I'm not sure which would be which. And thanks for the notice, will keep an eye out for it :)
