Lao leaned back in his seat and literally, twirled his thumbs in bordum. Lao did not know how long it took for a NPC to make food in the game, but it would have been right to assume it could have not took to long. He could not help but think if they really did need food, was it really necessary. It may have been an addition to keep them sane in this game, have something from home, something that every normal human did. But it may have served to make the sane, insane, the constant reminder of the real world's food was a struggle that many would have faced. Maybe he was just reading into everything to much, which was a thing he did every once and a while.

Lao noticed that there were more people here also, 2 players by the looks of it. It was safe to assume he was not the only player that had made it to this town. As much as Lao wanted to greet them, he wanted to be alone at the moment. It was just a feeling that came over him once and a while. If they wished to speak, the could, but for now, Lao would not initiate.

Eventually, that NPC appeared once again, but this time with his food. Lao could not help but admire the smell, despite knowing that it was all virtual. The NPC placed it in front of Lao and opened up the lid. Stem billowed from the stack of ribs underneath, or that is what they looked like. The game called them Galbi, a food that Lao was no familiar with, or was sure came from the real world. On his interface, a not popped up with a description of the food.

Made with beef ribs thinly cut across the bone. Its name derives from the way it is prepared; the letters L and A come from the first two letters of "lateral," as the ribs are sliced in this manner. It is prepared in the same way as regular galbi, except that the ribs are cut differently. South Korean-owned restaurants made galbi with these thinner cuts of beef with several ribs. This variation has since made its way back to South Korea as well.

Lao frowned, the explanation did nor so much to install confidence in the meal, but at least it was real world food. Despite that, Lao would eat it anyway, he was not going to pay 70 Col for 6 ribs and not eat it. Lao brought his hands together for a quick prayer before digging Into the food. He picked up one and bit into it, despite his earlier thought, the food was great, it tasted amazing. Lao are faster and faster, before he knew it he had finished all six, even eating the the last one in two bites. His plate disappeared and Col was taken out if his account and what not. Lao stood up and was about to make his way back to his room, unfortunately, fatigue coupled with a full stomach made Lao very drowsy. Before Lao knew it he had it the ground face first and was asleep, his whole body face down.

Well, if Top's unable to post then Leo and I are kinda stuck for a bit.

I'll probably continue of Fujiwara side post-sleep timeskip and probably him alone until top comes back (and assuming we can't just drag Rey around or leave her at the inn lol).

That's why I had my character separate for her, until she came back, this way we could interact with other players in the town. Could always head over to the Cafe/Restaurant, or explore and what not.

As they approached the town, Lao could not help but wonder what the next day would bring, the next week, month. Even if the game lasted that long, would they be stuck fighting and grinding forever. Lao really did not like the thought, not one bit, but that was the hand he was dealt as his father always said. Everyone may have not accepted that fact, some commuted suicide, or maybe attacked others and killed them. That last part was a bit disheartening, it went as far as to make him bring his hand to his blade and griping it for a few seconds before calming down.

Lao was finally granted the privilege of being thrown out of his own thoughts when Ayame spoke. Her concerns were justified, Lao went as far as to agree with her. But it was obvious their thoughts differed in such things like these. "It makes sense, low risk, low reward, we're getting what were getting and we're gonna have to deal with it for now." he said placing his hands in his pockets, they would need these boars until they reached the Fields, then they could fight a more powerful and rewarding enemy.

Lao glanced back at Rey when she spoke, it was mostly referring to her amazement for the game, despite the creators...mental faculty, which was in question. "This came could have become huge, I don't know to much about games, but I'm sure there is this league for Games like this. Lao said scratching his check, trying his beast to remember what it was called, one of the maids children mentioned it to him before. "But look on the bright side, this game will open up the path to newer, stronger, and better games, that's something to look forward to, if we survive." he said with a slight chuckle, as if trying to play off the last comments negativity.

Suddenly, Rey broke into a race for the town of Geniku, calling for them to hurry. Lao did not understand why she was so excited, they would barely have anytime to have much fun, they would probably set out early the next morning to get grinding again. Lao sighed and walked after her, it was not to long after that when they made it into the town. Lao immediately made his way to a Inn and asked for a room. Lao payed the necessary Col for a one bed room, it was not proper for a man and a woman to sleep unmarried in the same room, plus, he did not want to pay for their rooming. "Im heading out for a bit, I'll see you guys later." he said before quickly walking off. In reality, Lao just wanted something to eat, he did deserve a meal after the work that they had been through today. Lao found an open air cafe, many tabled were outside, but there were some inside. Lao took a seat in one of the outside tables and glanced at the menu that popped up in his Vision Center. Lao could not choose, mostly because he could not recognize any of the food they offered, no chicken, pasta, nothing. Lao sighed and shrugged, he closed his eyes and randomly picked one, hopefully this would be good.

As usual, chilling back to wait for Leo atm. Hopefully Fujiwara's group doesn't run off with the plot until then lol.

What came next, Zento could not fully prepare for, it was as if his mind had gone blank. Koyo and fired a Hado at the Hollow, who was charging a Cero that was aimed right at him. Zento had and idea of what he was going to do the Cero, but it helped that Koyo dealt with it, even if it meant putting him in harms way. Once the beam came in contact with the Cero a large explosion rocked the ground. Zento was thrown out of the air, but he was able to Shunpo to a near by buildings roof. "Shit." Zento mumbled.

By the time the smoke dissipated, the hollow was gone. No, it had been destroyed, completely annihilated. Zento raked his hands through his hair, Koyo was such stronger than she appeared to be. Zento deactivated his Kazuma, she returned to her original state and Zento placed her back on its sheath. Zento jumped down to Koyo, "Well that's over and done, call the Captain real quick, we still have to report this." he said glancing back at the smoldering crater that used to be the 3- legged hollow.
