The Republic of Keva is a strong, lawful society with a tumultuous history. It values the ideals of justice, honor and duty highly, and its dark-skinned natives are fiercely proud. Keva is a self-sufficient, agrarian society, with dense forests that are logged for lumber, and mountains rich with mineral resources. It is inherently defensive and insular, partly in response to it's frequent history of civil war. Nevertheless, Keva remains one of the dominant powers in Albion, and boasts a very elite, and well-trained army.
The people of Keva are driven by their common cause to disseminate benevolence and order for the betterment of all beings throughout Albion. They view malice and selfishness as a disease which should be expunged from the psyche of humankind. Those who come to Keva and choose to settle within its borders are expected to share the ideals and virtues of its citizenry. Those who seek personal gain at the expense of others quickly find themselves ostracized… or worse.
Life in Keva is not one of placid utopian dreams. Since the Kevan people pride themselves as the moral vanguards of Albion, they adopt seemingly draconian measures to ensure that their moral code remains the only code by which one may live within the country. Crime in any form is harshly punished: there are no misdemeanors within Keva. Some detractors of Keva (who criticize far from the reaches of the nation) claim this as proof of its inherent hypocrisy. Kevans counter this argument by pointing out that their justice system incorporates benevolence and mitigation into its verdicts. The Republic of Keva is a caesaropapist constitutional republic governed by its Dignitas under his imperium maius (supreme executive power), his auctoritas principis (primary legislative authority), and his jure divis (divine mandate as Pope). Other magistrates possess political powers subsidiary to and even derived from those of an emperor. A Dignitas' other titles include Princeps Civitatis (First Citizen), primus inter pares (first among equals), Imperator (Supreme Commander), and Pontifex Maximus (Pope). Separate from his public office, a Dignitas bears the highest social standing of a Kevan citizen and has sacrosanctity from physical harm under Lindosian and Kevan laws. Violating his sanctity is sacrilege and treason - punished by death.
As Pope of Keva, the Dignitas may issue binding papal bulls, canonize saints, and structurally reform the Church. As the center of Kevan finance, a wealth of Merchant Guilds establish headquarters here, seeking a relationship with bureaucrats in order to jump start their own business. A coastal city on the eastern coast of Keva famous for is crescent shape, Mare is the largest port in the Republic and houses the majority of both its naval and merchant ships. Hundreds of merchant vessel pass through the massive Dawn Seagate to trade with the wealthy and mighty nation.

- Marcellus Tiberius - Sharp-witted and charismatic describe the 2nd Dignitas of Keva, Marcellus Tiberius. Elected 8 years ago after the founder of the Republic, Jerald Vulso, stepped down for reasons unknown after a reign of 12 years, Dignitas Marcellus is making strides in solidifying the power of the Republic in Albion.
- Jericho Tiberius - Kid brother of the Dignitas, Jericho often lives in the shadow of his elder brother. Ironically, the Dignitas' shadow serves as his domain, along with the rest of the world's. Dubbed the Rector Indicius of Keva, Jericho oversees the vast spy network Keva employees both on a local and national scale. Hand in hand he works with his elder brother to ensure not only the safety of the Dignitas' family, but that of Keva's citizens.
- Gallus Stylles - Well versed in both political rhetoric and the art of war, General Gallus Stylles is a man revered as one of Keva's many war heroes. Entering the spotlight as Jerald's star general during the Last Rebellion, Drusus has solidified his place on the Legion High Command for the last 20 years, and with his experience and expertise, may spend a lifetime there.
- Cyprian Gothicus - Formally known as the Mensarius Superbus, Cyprian heads the Ministry of the Treasury and acts as one of the Dignitas' most valued member of the Officium, only second to his kid brother, the Prime Minister of Defense and the Proprinceps, head of Ministry of Diplomacy. Making the City of Opportunity his home, Cyprian is a cunning and stingy man, making him the perfect fit for Supreme Financier of Keva.

Ministry of the Treasury - Administered by the Mensarius Superbus (Supreme Financier), the Treasury controls distribution of aediles and quaestores throughout the Republic. An aedile is a magistrate with access to the treasury itself in Keva - no one other than the 120 aediles can withdraw public funds. Their job usually consists of writing tokens of money to the various institutions, such as other ministries, in the federal government. There are two Censores who audit their activity throughout any given year. Withdrawals made without the necessary approval, either from the Senate or another Ministry, are grounds for dismissal and prosecution.
A quaestor is a magistrate employed to collect taxes from the praetores across all provinces. No money can enter the treasury without documentation from one these scrupulous bureaucratic accountants.
As for the Mensarius Superbus himself, his duties include administering treasury workers in general, writing the national budget according necessities and plans recorded by his accountants, and speaking with the Dignitas on financial matters as a primary member of his Officium.
Ministry of War - Administered by the Magister Militum (Master of Soldiers), the Ministry of War organizes the peacetime distribution of soldiers throughout the Republic, sets military wages, communicates military policy to the public, and mediates requests for broad military policy from the Senate with the strategy of the Legion high command. This places the ministry at the forefront of the discrete machinations of the military, being informed of every operation needing government clearance. There is no rank with greater authority than the Master of Soldiers, despite his civilian status - even the Generals of the Legion only has equal command and executive power.
Ministry of Defense - Administered by the Praeministrum Custodiem (Prime Minister of Defense), this ministry maintains the static defenses of the Republic, initiates new defensive installations on land, and organizes the peacetime distribution of national guard units across all military bases.
Ministry of the Church - Administered by the Princeps Auspex (Chief Augur), this ministry coordinates the Ecclesia Lindosia with both the government in general and the Pontifex Maximus - the Dignitas. Most of its interactions with the government is to deliver administrative commands from the Dignitas to the College of Pontiffs, it also provides theological counsel from the expert College of Augurs, official Lindsonian theologians and interpreters of the Word, and the College of Disciples actively search out Espers, citizens blessed with divine power and capable of performing miracles in the name of Lindos.
Ministry of Justice - Administered by the Magnus Judex (High Judge), the Ministry of Justice decides on the time and place of sessions in every court of law. The Tribunalis Ultima (Supreme Court) in the center of Keva is presided over by the Magnus Judex and is the highest court of Kevan law. Decisions ruled as part of a proceeding in the Supreme Court cannot be overruled elsewhere, unless the relevant law is changed by senatus consultum. Presiding over this court is one of the primary functions of the ministry.
Ministry of Diplomacy - Administered with little oversight by the Proprinceps, the External Office deploys diplomats to foreign governments or institutions and maintains foreign embassies in other countries. As the most knowledgeable minister regarding foreign affairs, the Proprinceps is often the closest advisor of the Dignitas.
Ministry of Culture - Administered by the Maecenarius, the Ministry of Culture has an essential role in fostering the national reputation of Keva. Every national sporting event is planned and executed by this ministry, as are major appearances of a Dignitas to the public. National celebrations such as the anniversaries of the founding of Keva are also designed completely by members of the Ministry of Culture.
Praetoriani - There are two types of Praetorian Guard. Members of the Kevan Guard are highly trained bodyguards for the most important magistrates and the Dignitas. Depending on the situation, they are either wearing slightly hidden body armor under a non-flowing toga or a bright red cloak and helmet which completely conceals their identity, under which is a magically enhanced piece of armor for protection and surveillance. The latter costume comes into use for ceremonial purposes or excursions into foreign countries. This allows the Guard to serve as a psychological instrument, giving the emperor and his companions an imposing presence.
Members of the Kevan Intelligence Service are skilled infiltrators and gatherers of information. Their purpose is to discover illegal operations within the Republic and rout foreign activities dangerous to Kevan security. In this function of the Praetorian Guard, it answers solely to the emperor himself. Except where their actions violate the constitution, Agents of the KIS are beyond legal reproach.
Among the general populace, the KIS (Munus Indicius Keva) goes under many names: Auctorinus (the Agency), ZIR, and Zealots (after the Lindosian vanguard). These titles reflects the public perception of ZIR as an extension of the emperor's will, another limb so to speak. Yet there are no widespread or popular conspiracy theories about the Agency. Most citizens accept that actions need to be taken for the good of the empire without the luxury of transparency. This is simply another facet of the people's unshakeable loyalty and devotion to the Republic.

Ministry of Diplomacy - Administered with little oversight by the Proprinceps, the External Office deploys diplomats to foreign governments or institutions and maintains foreign embassies in other countries. As the most knowledgeable minister regarding foreign affairs, the Proprinceps is often the closest advisor of the Dignitas.
Ministry of Culture - Administered by the Maecenarius, the Ministry of Culture has an essential role in fostering the national reputation of Keva. Every national sporting event is planned and executed by this ministry, as are major appearances of a Dignitas to the public. National celebrations such as the anniversaries of the founding of Keva are also designed completely by members of the Ministry of Culture.
Praetoriani - There are two types of Praetorian Guard. Members of the Kevan Guard are highly trained bodyguards for the most important magistrates and the Dignitas. Depending on the situation, they are either wearing slightly hidden body armor under a non-flowing toga or a bright red cloak and helmet which completely conceals their identity, under which is a magically enhanced piece of armor for protection and surveillance. The latter costume comes into use for ceremonial purposes or excursions into foreign countries. This allows the Guard to serve as a psychological instrument, giving the emperor and his companions an imposing presence.
Members of the Kevan Intelligence Service are skilled infiltrators and gatherers of information. Their purpose is to discover illegal operations within the Republic and rout foreign activities dangerous to Kevan security. In this function of the Praetorian Guard, it answers solely to the emperor himself. Except where their actions violate the constitution, Agents of the KIS are beyond legal reproach.
Among the general populace, the KIS (Munus Indicius Keva) goes under many names: Auctorinus (the Agency), ZIR, and Zealots (after the Lindosian vanguard). These titles reflects the public perception of ZIR as an extension of the emperor's will, another limb so to speak. Yet there are no widespread or popular conspiracy theories about the Agency. Most citizens accept that actions need to be taken for the good of the empire without the luxury of transparency. This is simply another facet of the people's unshakeable loyalty and devotion to the Republic.

The Kevan Legions are a strictly volunteer corp of professional soldiers that takes considerable upkeep, but are maintained and controlled by Kevan government and Legion High Command. Trained in the art of defense, heavy archers focus on the enemy army while massed pikemen defend them. Pikemen in some cases can also act as shook troopers, breaking through enemy lines thus giving the archers an easy target. Kevan mages specialize in Lindosian magic, a school of magic in which mages utilize the various Virtues of Faith to combat enemies. These seemingly defensive military tactics define the Kevan Legions and gives is a cowardly name in the international playing field, but Kevan soldiers are proud and carry the legacy of their Republic on their back.

The Aramian Legions are a strictly volunteer corp of professional soldiers that takes considerable upkeep, but are maintained and controlled by Aramian government and Legion High Command. Trained in the art of defense, heavy archers focus on the enemy army while massed pikemen defend them. Pikemen in some cases can also act as shook troopers, breaking through enemy lines thus giving the archers an easy target. Aramian mages specialize in Lindosian magic, a school of magic in which mages utilize the various Virtues of Faith to combat enemies. These seemingly defensive military tactics define the Aramian Legions and gives is a cowardly name in the international playing field, but Aramian soldiers are proud and carry the legacy of their Republic on their back.

I swear that democracy is poor this world's version of communism. All these revolutionary government talking about giving power to the common people and the masses and making the rich and powerful equal to that of the poor and downtrodden.
