Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 12-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing.

I've been writing and roleplaying in Dutch and English since 2002. I joined the RolePlayer Guild in 2014 and since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

There are times I don't have much creative energy and will be silent for a while, but in the very least I will try to keep the writing contests going.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. Genuinly, I sometimes need reminders that you are waiting for a reply. I don't ghost on purpose, I promise. Time is just a weird thing sometimes, and if something happened 3 days ago, 3 weeks ago or 3 months ago can feel pretty much the same and I often don't realize how much time passed since my last reply. And if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab there is a good chance I might forget I was supposed to reply because I lost the visual reminder T_T

The hermit listened as everyone discussed their plans as he stirred the soup. When Gnol offered him the mug he thanked him for it and then he looked at the group. Maybe it was time to give them a little more help, that was what they had come for after all and they had paid him well with all the wood, food and ale. He brought a wooden whistle to his lips and blew twice on it.
"Just calling someone," he said. "But to me it looks like your next goals are rather straight-forward. Our dear Dwarven friend here knows a few hiding riders, whatever you decide to do, in the very least you should send them a message." He looked around as he said that, but turned his attention to the soup afterwards. "As for how to deal with the king, I think it's important the offspring of the Old King will have a say in it. I knew him well, the king came to me with every time his new child was a year or two, I doubt any of them remember. But to reclaim the throne we seem to have two option. War or assassination. And the children of the Old King should decide how they want to reclaim the throne, the rest of us can merely follow in their decision." After he spoke those words he looked up from the soup again. "This soup is done, anyone want some?"

When Meria heard the soup was ready she took some bowl and walked to the Hermit, he could fill them and she would give them to the ones who wanted soup. She sensed a familiar aura emitting from Noble, and while she knew Noble was on their side, the magic felt hostile to her. The small water dragon seemed to sense it too, as she dove under the water. Fire and ground were at an advantage here, but at least the Hermit was here. In his sanctuary there would be no fighting.

Trevor sat down next to Mikhal and they both drank from the ale. "Yes please," Mikhal said in answer to the question of soup and Trevor nodded.
With how the Hermit talked about the children of the Old King, Trevor examined everyone more carefully. Were they here? Was that why the Hermit refused to look at anyone as he spoke. There were a few who had seemed awkward and tense when the Hermit had mentioned the heir before. Without voicing his suspicion, he examined the three he didn't know yet. The possibility it was Duncan was quickly dismissed, why would he search for the heir if he was it? And to make it worse, the Hermit had spoken in plural. Children.

General Doruk, a man with black hair with a few strands of dark-grey through it, noticed the light. If anyone would have been there he would have finished up the business, but since he was alone he went straight to the entrance and opened it for his agents. While he was broad and had a slight bulge in the area of his stomach as a result for his tase of fine wine, he was still quick to move.
"Okay, report. I hope you two have better news than the last messenger that came."
Character accepted.
The Decidueye nodded when he received the information and turned his attention to eating. Anthony examined him for a moment longer, it was the first time seeing a Pokémon like that, but started pecking the seeds again. Hunger won it from his curiosity.

Michael handed Niccia one of the cheese sandwiches, but looked at Gavin. "Cucumber is a vegetable," he explained. "They chopped it up and added it to a sauce, often yoghurt or mayonnaise."
Mindy chuckled. "I'm sure he knows what a cucumber is, Michael. He probably didn't expect they served a cucumber salad." She took a bite from her own. "It's good though," she added, taking another bite.

"I would like some too," Saruya said. "Imagine a Growlithe with blood of two Legendary Pokémon though. Maybe it would be diluted enough to not show, maybe they'll be perfectly normal Growlithe, but if the pups do end up different somehow, they won't have an easy life. Organisations like Team Rocket will be after them." She looked at the Arcanine besides her. "I love how you look, but was it easy for you, growing up with that fur?"

Merlin examined the pattern the Noibat showed them and then looked at the Noibat. "Didn't know Yvetal was a Noibat," he stated. "I am getting accustomed to legendary having an alternate Human form, but a Noibat?"

Mable and Blaze looked at Tyson as he approached. Mable had a friendly smile for them and Blaze gave a nod.
"Unusual flames too," the Dragonite commented when she saw them. [i]"You must have an interesting story, little one."[/u] She didn't ask him to share it, but this little Charmander was certainly a special one.
You're not really behind, no-one has moved far since you found your Umbreon.

Regan decided to head to Evoru, but will have to kill a bit of time because the ferry to Evoru hasn't arrived yet.

Sarah and Lorie are talking and have to decide where to go next.

Toshi practised for a contest, but that hadn't turned out as planned.

That's it really, everyone is still in Mesperit City. All you have to decide is what you would like to do. There is a poster on the newspaper kiosk warning about Spinarak and Ariados, you could check out the gym, or go into the forest to catch more Pokémon. And maybe one of the others players wants to join Lucian, or you could join one of the other players as they work towards their plans.
Character accepted, Salenea.

It's a good thing you have remembered, CitrusArms, the Pokémon Centers on the islands offer the same service as seen in the anime.
It wasn't long before a nurse entered the room Alastor had been in. She blinked at the empty bed and the remains of the cast on the floor. After a quick search through the room, she hastened out and ran over the department to the main station. "Has mr. Alastor passed through here?" she asked.
"No," the other nurse replied.
"Where is doctor Bansing?"
"Room 1."
The nurse quickly went to the room and opened the door. "Doctor," she said as she entered, looking at a woman and a child sitting on the bed, the boy was crying and the mother did her best to comfort him. She looked at the back of the doctor's head. "Excuse me, but mr. Alastor is missing."
"I'm kinda in the middle of something," he said as he showed a bloody glove and he looked over his shoulder. "Contact hospital security and give them all the relevant information."

Before the nurse left, Andy turned his attention on the patient in front of him once more, stitching up a deep cut in the boys hand. He talked with the boy during the procedure, to calm him and his mother down. The boy sobbed, but kept his hand still as Andy had requested.
"So, all done," Andy said at the end. "You were the bravest patient I have ever had!" Well, not entirely true, the group of bravest patients grew steadily, but the boy needed to hear it.
He gave some final instruction about the wound care and when the stitches could be removed. After sending them to the nurses station, he cleaned up.

Now that the patient was gone, he had time to think about Alastor. Was he really surpised he had left? Not really, a drifter probably didn't have the money to pay the hospital bill. But how had he been able to sneak out the room with a cast around his leg and no-one noticed anything. He decided to check the room himself, it would only take a minute and there were no dire emergencies.

In the room he noticed the removed bandages and the remains of the cast. He frowned as he examined it. That was peculiar, how had Alastor been able to do that?
After a sigh he left the room, what more could he do? Hospital security would have to deal with it, he'd tell them what he knew when they would ask him. Now it was time to treat one of the waiting patients.
"Right, good idea," Ethan said and he took his cellphone.
*Where are you? It's fucking boring here. Me and Gaia have nothing to do until tonight. Looking at a stupid house can't take this long.*

"Well," Benjamin began, but he stopped when he felt his phone buzz. "Excuse me." He looked at the message he received and send one back.
*having lunch, we'll come back after that*
"Let's go back to the base when we're done," he said as he put his phone away again. "Ethan and Gaia have nothing to do. And we need to report what happened at the house too, warn the agency about that guy that knows you and tells people to use those crystals."

When the answer came, Ethan read it out loud to Gaia. "I can't blame them for having lunch elsewhere," he said. "Food here is decent, but not the best. Maybe we can hit the gym while we wait." He examined Gaia from head to toe. "Although... I'm not sure how well you can fit on the equipment."
I will play Penalopy, the quirky Meloetta then, if you're okay with that.

And cucumber salad will certainly stain on clothes. Some MooMoo milk will also leave a nice stain, especially if it were strawberry flavoured. Mindy could spill some on Gavin, or Gavin can spill some on himself when either of them gets accidentally pushed by Missy or Sparky as they are playing.
That will give them an excuse for clothes shopping (every man's nightmare, and I imagine even more for Gavin )
Anthony looked from his bowl back up to Niccia. "Yes, thank you," he said and he started to peck the seeds. Being with a trainer certainly had its benefits, in the wild he'd be pecking all day at scattered seeds on the floor. Here he got all he needed in a bowl.

Mindy filled a bowl with seeds and a few small berries. "Timothy!" she called as she walked towards the Pidgeot and the Fletchling. "Come eat."
The Decidueye came sat with the other two Pokémon. "Which ones are your trainers?" he asked them as he started to eat.
"Michael, Anthony said, pointing with his beak to the young man.
"I know him," Timohty commented and he glanced to Lyste. "And him, but the last time I saw them I was still a Rowlet. And everyone else is new to me."

Since all their Pokémon had food, Michael looked to see what was available to them and found some sandwiches with cheese and some with what seemed to be a cucumber salad, all neatly wrapped in a napkin. Mindy joined him and took one with the salad as she looked pleased at all her eating Pokémon.
"Niccia, Gavin, we have cheese and cucumber salad," Michael said to them. "What would you like?" He opted for cheese himself, but there were plenty left.

"Yes," Saruya said, but she didn't go further into it when the two young Pokémon ran over. "Come now, Missy. Hop down. If you want to play with Sparky don't hide on other Pokémon. The energy these two had was fantastic to watch, but it wouldn't be bad if they would play a little further away so she and Harry could talk a bit more about the subject he had raised.

Merlin chuckled. "To my understanding Andy learned about StarFall from his nephew and went to Gavin telling him he needed an invite." With that knowledge shared, he glanced to the Noibat. "She does have a point. What is your connection to the Legendary Pokémon?" You do seem to know them quite well.
I am okay with second characters.
Cio, yours is accepted and Salenea, I'll await yours :)
