"No, I am not a witch, nor a Warlock. I am what's known as an Occultist. My magic does not stem from arcane arts, but rather the Eldritch, and forbidden knowledge. Most people in my shoes have gone mad, or worse. Yet I somehow have persevered. Even still I must be careful with my magic, lest it drive me mad, albeit temporarily. The spell you saw earlier was a spell known as Fishscales. I can cast it on others, yet a also have a superior version. If you wish to know more, I can tell you, but I will warn you now, it may take its toll on your mind."

Multiverse: You Are The Character

Ysran continued bouncing around, on jump pads and running around collecting rings. Soon enough, however, the way forward was blocked by what appeared to be robotic Bees. Should be easy enough. Pulling out his revolver, he got on one knee and took aim. BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! *click* Looks like he was out. He probably had more in his pack, but he didn't exactly feel like rummaging through it at the moment. The mechanical bees had fallen, and the way forward was clear. Midway through his next jump, he heard an ear-piercing screech from his side. Falling face first into the bounce pad, he tried to re-orient himself. The scream came from his right. And what do you know, there's a path to the right. There was another to his left, but he had to know what that scream was. Running along a fairly straightforward path, across a large gap, Ysran saw Rawk and Chuckles next to a small girl. A new friend? "Hey! Rawk! Over here! Did you find anything? Y'know, besides the girl?" Ysran tried to think of a way over. None of his spells would give him flight, and he doubted he could Summon a fish big enough to walk on like a bridge. Looking to the left and right, there didn't seem to be any paths that directly linked them. At least, not in sight.

Ysran turned to her. "Congratulations. You'rethe only person today who hasn't drawn your weapon on us. I'm Ysran. This is Caractacus, Alberich, Thiara, and Kathryn. He pointed at each member of the party as he said their respective names. "And since today seems to be my day for telling stories, do you need to hear it? Or are you just here for the ride?" Ysran desperately hoped for the latter.
