Ebberon is a relatively small country located far to the southwest. A mountainous place, Ebberon wasn't known for much, other than a deep understanding of geology. It has a bit of a rivalry with its neighboring country, Kyber. Nothing serious, just a friendly bit of showing off every now and then. That was, until the reigning king of Kyber was assassinated ten years ago. The two entered a short war, with Ebberon eventually coming out victorious. Kyber's "king" was imprisoned and the countries have been at peace since.

Appearance:

Cruben stands at six feet, two inches, and weighs 220 lbs. He isn't a monster in terms of bulk, but is very lean. He usually sits in a bit of a slouch, but stands straight when standing, yet in relaxed moments a slight bit can be seen.

Attire

Other than everyday clothing, Cruben wears Scalemail, the preferred armor of Ebberon. He also occasionally carries around a leather satchel, full of knick-knacks, traveling supplies, and perhaps most importantly, snacks.

Personality

Cruben is quite... passive. He goes with the flow, lets everything flow though him, not much is able to phase him. Laid-back, and passive is generally not what people look for in a soldier. Because of this, he had a bit of trouble starting out, and needless to say, his superiors weren't the biggest fan. Since then however, he's managed to put on a "war face" as he calls it. Standing up straight, saying "sir", salutes, the works.

Weaponry

Cruben's weapon of choice is the spear. Y'know, one of these. It's simple. It's effective, and easy to use. Perfect for a lazy dude like Cruben. But what about the crystals? Cruben's crystal of choice is a lightning elemental crystal. When its power is called upon, Cruben is able to throw a sort of lightning bolt. Not entirely lightning, but not entirely energy either. Because of this, Cruben has gotten pretty good at throwing things. Not enough to say, slice someone'sflesh open with a playing card, but enough to be pretty accurate with throwing knives. And he's gotten pretty good at skipping rocks.

Backstory

Cruben grew up in an average family. One of the many. Yet his family was also friends with a very militaristic family, the Phiarlins. Cruben's family eventually began growing tired of his lazyness. Taking advice from the Phiarlins, they sent Cruben off to the military to whip him into shape. While in the military, Cruben would meet The Phiarlin families' child, Lance. Becoming swift friends, Cruben watched as Lance soared through the ranks, becoming one of the top Tacticians. Cruben would eventually become infantry, and would take part in the Ebberon vs Kyber war. With Lance's great tactics, the battle was won, and the countries were at peace.
It was about this time Cruben grew bored of Ebberon, and decided to go somewhere else. He also realized that he quite liked the military life, and would make it a career of sorts. Upon going to tell his family and friends, he noticed that Lance was nowhere to be found. Apparently, he had the same idea as Cruben, and left to explore the world.

Cruben would soon find another military group: The Servicemen. Fighting for a foreign land never really crossed his mind. He was just happy to be somewhere again.

@LetMeDoStuff I also have a question about crystals. Are we stuck with just one, or can we just grab whatever before we head out. Like if I put a fire crystal in the lance, am I stuck with it, or can I take it out and grab an ice crystal?

I'm stuck between a lance user who could fire projectiles out of his lance, a sniper with explosive arrows or something, or a monk who wears gloves that can channel electricity. Any thoughts?
