Hi all! It's Ana back from the void. I had some pretty intense months IRL, but the witch is back and ready to brew up a wonderful little story haha~ Here are my terms for OnexOne, dearlings~ Look it over and let's see if our tastes can create a lovely RP feast for you and me!
Length:
Medium causal to low advanced. I am a bit carnivorous and need a good bit of meat in the posts I get from my partners. Don't let me go hungry, huhuhu~
Like wise, I shall try to feed you with, at the very least posts of two and a half paragraphs in length or more. It's all about give and take, right~?
Mature Topics:
I can do smut and cursing, but let's try to keep it classy? I have a little brother on this site and I'd be mortified for him to find anything that isn't at least trying to be creative in word choice. Plus there are so many ways to keep things interesting and detailed without being crass or vulgar.
And while we are on the topic, I also feel that my mature RPs should be done with 18 and older roleplayers. Same goes with characters: 18 and older, preferably in the 20s, or nothing more than love fluff. You get Angel Food cake, you hear? Only 18 and up get to have Devil's Food.
And Romance doesn't have to be sappy. It can be that they hate each other in the beginning, but have attraction. Maybe they stay enemies. Maybe they unite but still don't trust one another. And maybe she is a hellion and he is cool calm and collected. Or maybe they both have bad tempers. There are so many possibilities! Romance doesn't always mean sappy fluff, but can include dark and more twisted passion. Huhuhu~ That's why there is a 'mature 18+ rating' on the door. ;P
Historical Topics:
Many, if not all, of my RPs involve some sort of historical quality. While I am no history buff, I like things to be believable. Call me nit picky and strict, but I don't like my Vikings calling my Heroine "babe" or "chick". It's odd and jars me right out of the RP.
Have Courage, Dearlings:
I won't bite you. :P I know I may seem strict on what I want, but this is just so we can both get what we want out of RP. If it isn't working, let's not be afraid to say so. Nothing is more painful than trying to feign interest in something you just are not interested in. Let's agree to talk to each other. Compromise and communication can solve many things. I am always open to suggestions once we agree on something to start with. OOC chat threads were made just for these kinds of things. So let's be friendly, yea? :3
One Final Thing:
I am looking to play the female character. I am looking for MY female character to be paired with a male character. I only clarify this because there have been misunderstandings in the past and it got reeeeeal awkward.
And so there is no confusion, I feel I must state it plainly somewhere in my current request: I would like to be the main female character. Thank you very much~ ;3

Kaori wasn't getting anywhere with the bartender. In fact, they seemed to be going out of their way to ignore her. Her face flushed, she let her head drop a bit, looking down at her fingers as they played with one another nervously. Perhaps she should of gone to the club anyway. In all actuality, she'd much rather be at home reading while drinking something sweet and warm, in her safe quiet apartment. 'Going out' wasn't really a comfortable look for someone like her, unless it was something calm and quiet, like a gallery showing. Though, who had the money for that?
Looking up, her luminescent green eyes met those of a dark haired man sitting at the bar. She dropped her gaze back down and watched her fingers intertwine as she tried to figure out what to do. It sort of felt like defeat if she left now. But she wasn't getting anywhere with this bartender. Maybe she should just sit down and wait...
A tap on her shoulder made her jump. Spinning around, eyes wide, her innocent-looking face turned an alabaster white. Looming over her was a blonde, dressed in casual firefighter's gear. Soot smeared all over the tall lean man, who had a scar etched across a rather beautiful face, with a short cropped halo of dirty gold hair. Wait. Not a man? Maybe a man. Either way, whatever the gender, this person was tall, intimidating and yet somehow beautiful as well. How unsettling!
Like a rabbit caught in a corner by a mountain lion, she looked around franticly. The dreamy-eyed lady looked to refined to come to her defense. The scar covered man at the bar didn't seem bothered by anything at all. Another beautiful woman who was deep into her conversation with two men. And the other man with white hair was too concerned with whomever he was waiting on to even look their way.
She was on her own. Kaori backed up a bit, the bar bumping into her with no more room to move away. And as she opened her mouth to ask what the lean beautifully terrifying giant wanted, when the dark haired and elegant man from before took her hand and placed a card in it. Looking at him in stunned surprise, she could feel that voice slip around her like she was being coated in honey. She shivered involuntarily, taken by surprise at how fast she had gone from panicked and afraid to warm and... well warm. Her already flushed face was bright red now.
'Fenton Kelly Private Investigator, Miss. I'm fairly new to this city and I'm offering my services to the locals in the Jazz quarter of town. If you need anything or anyone found or looked into. Please give me a call.......and if you just would like to talk some time and maybe get a drink in a slightly more quiet environment...then please give me a call... and I must say that's an amazing dress you are wearing.'
So much information at once, her mind was reeling and just as suddenly as he had approached her, he had slipped out the door. Stunned, she looked down at her hand, surprised to see the card in her hand. So...that really had happened. Looking up at the lean model-esque giant, she guessed that this was also happening. Her mind was in a whirlwind of activity. Trying to take all it could in, but failing to keep up.
"Th...Thank you," she murmured in response to the man who was long gone. Bewildered she looked up at the firefighter. A friendly smile was warm on the... person's face. Her blush didn't ease or lighten. In fact, she was still rather flustered to be talking to someone so intimidatingly lovely. And yet also scary. Lovely-scary. Purple eyes gazed down at curiously.
She was shone the person's ID, and then the person tilted their head. Her head. This person was a woman... Just wow. Lovely-scary and strong as a woman. That's pretty incredible. She was kind of envious. Her name was Ashton. Kaori tilted her head as she looked up at Ashton. Then she reached into her own purse and held up her own ID.
"I was going to wait here to see some old school friends," she felt the need to explain, even if a bit shyly, "I thought to wait I should probably buy a soda or water in order to not loiter and impede business? I...don't go to bars often..."
