Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

"Dammit you pixie, you just really want to be a thorn in my side don't you?" By the time Orchid came up to the cave she could see the strangely muscular pixie and some residue of his fire magic near the cave entrance. If he had done it somewhere out of sight Orchid wouldn't have cared what he was doing, however his explosions had caught her attention and possibly made the other goblins jumpier than they already where. Of course things weren't going to be so simply. As Orchid approached there was another, louder explosion off into the forest. This one seemed much more dangerous than Ardur's. "What the hell?"

It was on the side of the forest where the other monsters were. Ash and the others were in that direction, and may have possibly ran into danger. Not only that, but if what Wej said was correct some of the other goblins who were partial to Orchid were also over there talking to some of the monsters or maybe just the goblins. Point was, people that she could rely on were now in danger. And if that wasn't bad enough, as Orchid glanced back towards Ardur she saw zombies of all things heading towards the cave entrance. Goblin zombies too, likely from yesterday's little bloodbath. Gritting her teeth and sighing Orchid turned to Wej. "Follow me and get ready for a fight."

Orchid would leave the cave entrance and head towards the forest. Finding the area was easy; it was the place that was one fire. Looked like one of the other monsters had got caught in a giant fireball. A bunch of other monsters were here too. Orchid needed to get her goblins out of here before things get any crazier. "Oi! Bigz, Jezee, get over here!" Orchid didn't have any healing herbs for the wounded, so she couldn't help them. She just needed her goblins out of this mess, and then she'll figure out what could be done to assist. For starters, Orchid tries to stamp out some of the grass fire with her shield, making sure to strike hard and fast to snuff out the embers and prevent her shield from catching flame.

Posted for the orcish lady. Her attacks failed to harm the beast but despite all odds she did manage to knock the cyclops prone. For all intents and purposes, the giant is too big to normally benefit from the "Range attacks have disadvantage against prone targets" clause.

As Angus's turn was what started combat, his turn will be skipped but he is considered actively in combat now and we will move straight onto Lilt.

@Tangletail
The orcish woman could only sigh as the attempted distraction likely failed when her forgotten guest, Ano, had stepped out from her base to cast a spell onto the cyclops. The woman wasn't sure if the spell worked or not, but as soon as Ano appeared everyone else started attacking the beast. She was highly against fighting such a creature here, however there was little choice in the matter. Nearly all of her supplies and materials were inside of her hideout and if it was abandoned or worse, destroyed, her chances of survival plummet. If nothing else, she'd rather risk fighting this monstrosity over surviving without her supplies. Gripping her bardiche the orcish woman took a running jump off the roof top, her body poised to impale the tip of her blade pass the armor of the beast. However this cyclops was no mere brute; though he was attacked from many sides by weapons and spells, his first reaction was not to simply roar in pain (Though he did to that) but to hunker down and prepare for more assaults. Thanks to this the woman's blade failed to find any soft flesh, and even as she tried to smash the other end of her polearm into skin, it wasn't enough to scratch the thick hide.

Standing on the shoulder of the giant the woman knew she needed to make space again. More importantly, she can't let the beast strike down either herself or the others with her; even if they had the high ground the monster was more than large enough to try and smash them with his club or grab them. She needed to cut him down to size. So dashing across his shoulders the orcish woman showed off her skills and experience, using her staff to provide her extra leverage to kick the cyclops on the side of the head. But this kick wasn't meant to necessarily harm him, but to throw him off balance as he stumbled from the sudden and powerful blow, falling down onto his back. This kick also served a secondary purpose to propel the orcish woman towards the other side of the street, allowing her to just barely make it onto the rooftop of her hideout.

"Fuck, if we got to kill him make it quick! The longer we fight him the more attention that'll draw and I'm not sticking around to fight more trogs!"

Or even better, Angus could try to throw it u see the cyclope’s feet and cause him to trip and fall prone. Cyclope doesn’t have that great of a dex Save.
@floodtalon

Normally I’d refrain from revealing meta information without some rolls, but yes the cyclope is specifically immune to Hold Person because that spell only works on specifically humanoid (I.e. orcs, humans, tiefling, dragonborn) whereas Cyclopes are classified as a giant (I.e. ogres, trolls, yeti, other bipedal two armed things that aren’t classified as humanoid due to their size). You need a hold monster spell to affect a cyclope.

It’s an easy mistake, since you may argue what clearly defines a humanoid of medium size to giants of humanoid shape, but this isn’t the place for that.
Unfortunately the cyclope rolls an 18 for his Wisdom Check, allowing it to be unaffected by the challenge. I’ll have a post up for the orc later tonight.
We discussed that she was already in the orc’s HQ so she can meet up with the party, the hold person and stuff however is all Flood.
... I think at this point we should just prepare for combat. I got an 8.
@Duthguy

Hits and hurts. Next up is Raugar.

@Riaxh
@floodtalon

The cyclope is unaffected by your Hold Person Spell.

Next is Thokk.
