Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Shor quietly took in this information, stroking his beard. "You sure you aren't part of the city guard? Well, maybe better that you aren't. You've gotten much done and it's hardly sunset. Fine work there, Sylvia." Taking out his own notepad, Shor spoke about what he knew about the situation. "Aye, we've had suspicions that Erandel may be involved in some crimes in the city. His family owns supply caravans that take all manner of goods from their lands to other cities for trade, mainly herbs for medicine and lumber for construction. We've had eyes on him since a few months ago when there was a rise in contraband entering the city, though that was a blanket suspicion with all merchants, especially in light of Elysium activities. Investigations halted of course when the Duke took his men to the north, and so all of our efforts went back to maintaining the peace of the city over investigating previous cases. Sufficient to say, we'll need a lot before the guard can move in on him and make any sort of arrests, especially if we're too also accuse another squad of collusion." Shor reached into his jacket and put a silver badge on the table baring his emblem, the shield made of dragon wings with a sword at the center.

"This is a deputy badge. I have a few on hand in case I need to enlist people into a posse. As long as you have this, you may speak with my authority, Sylvia. You'll need it, as we need to find more proof in order to convict Erandel of his crimes and save the market from whatever scheme he's up you. To that end, I'd recommend you'd take your team and head back to that abandon brewery, and clear it out. Arrest anyone there who resists. Bring them back to me so that we can bring them in for questioning. If they try to claim ownership of the building, let them know that the old brewery is under ownership of the city, and anyone there will be arrested for trespassing and squatting." Shor then fished out two pairs of manacles. They looked like wooden planks with holes cut out on them with a built on lock on each. "A single note won't be enough to prove Erandel is responsible for anything, but multiple confessions can allow us more an opportunity to investigate into his business. Additionally, I'm sure there will be more evidence you can gather at that gang's hideout, either proof of Erandel's involvement or stolen goods they've taken from other merchants."

Closing his book and putting it away, Shor laced his fingers together to look back at you. "For now, I'll be looking into this Lightning Company. I've always known those bastards would be troublesome, but this blatant corruption will not go unanswered. Anything I find out, I'll write down and keep on my person, but I'll pass the information to the rest of my team when I get the chance. When you catch those criminals or find any evidence, bring them to my unit's barracks. We're just at the end of Ingot Street, you can't miss us. Aisha should be there right now to secure them." Sighing, Shor rubbed his eyes in a tired manner. But then he looked back up to you with a smile. "If we can get this done, that'll be one less problem off my mind. Oh yes, and I do have the coin if you wish to sell that Wakestone. 11000 gold in platinum bars. I left them here with Ferric for safe keeping, don't want to walk around with that much money on my person."
“What a fucking weakass excuse, no surprise there I suppose. ‘It’s all just a game I don’t need to stress myself about it’ a literal selfish way to justify being a dick to everyone. You always bitched about not having a girlfriend and getting pushed around at work, but blind to see how the person you are in the dark is someone no woman wants, and is a bottom bitch to literally anyone else.”

The odd, final words of Mamoru’s creator. She was present only long enough to be commanded to leave the room as her creator prepared to battle against the others creators, not entirely an unusual occurrence. His righteous fury was something that Mamoru understood and supported well. He was a warlike man, yes, but always used his powers to challenge others to be greater, to use their power to rise to the top instead of merely dominating the weak. Mamoru believed him to be a man who would never use his powers to abuse his underlings, and had the conviction to always defy tyrants. So it is little wonder he never got along too well with his fellow Creators when their ideals clashed. He always returned to her after these battles. But he never came back from the last one.

Mamoru looked around her room, sitting up from her couch. She had been lazing about as she often does, napping or thinking about things. While most warriors may use this opportunity to train, Mamoru’s passive abilities allowed her perfect retention of her martial skills and they will never degrade even without use. Which gave her plenty of time to goof off and occasionally work. As she went to put her shoes on for a walk a skull on her coffee table began to rattle. The “Bone Phone” as her Creator called it. It allows her to contact all and any of the skeletal butlers in the chateau. Through it she received word that the Sable Lord, Rodias, wishes to have an audience with the Chapter Keepers as well as his higher level officers. That would include Mamoru.

She felt a bit excited. It has been so long since she had finally had something to do. Ever since her Creator left, no one has ever called upon her services, meaning she had only ever been in her chambers here or the Skeleton Quarter to deal with her minions. Speaking of which as Mamoru left she went into said quarters. Although the undead needed no rest nor food, their arrangements were organized similarly to military bunks, with each skeleton owning a bed and box to contain their personal belongings, which they usually lacked. This was a hold over from the Chateau’s earlier days before they had skeletal butlers and used homunculi, who did require rest and food. Nowadays the beds serve more as the skeletons individual address and their storage boxes as a means to retain items given to them that has not been specifically told to return, such as petty loot and costumes from the Creators. Thus just about every Skeleton Butler had things like party hats, festive elf ears, and arrow-through-the-head accessories for whenever the Creators feel whimsical.

But near Mamoru’s own room say a large wooden desk. It had a few trinkets such as an hourglass, some stationery, a dragon’s tooth, and a small narrow vase with a preserved flower in it. But the important thing was the magic book. This book was no spell tome: instead it not only controls all the Skeleton Butlers, but also monitors the cleanliness level of the Chateau. It was the sort of “main menu” for Mamoru it anyone else to know what part of the guild needed any maintenance, service, security, or simply to send some Skeletons over to make them useful. At the moment the vast majority of the skeletons were on standby mode and that would not do at all. While the cleanliness levels of all the rooms in the Chateau were above 95% (relative to what would be defined as clean for the rooms of course), she would not allow her minions to stand idly by while work could be done! So to save her time from having to do this later, she sent the skeletons to begin routine maintenance as well as security patrol. Of course the messenger skeletons may continue their duties: Mamoru would never directly override the commands of a Creator.

With that done all Mamoru needed to do now was to find the Creator. An easy enough task, but one she must do with haste now that she had spent precious time dwaddling about. Fortunately she had just the thing for that. “Dragon Dance.” Standing with her feet shoulder length apart Mamoru started a furious yet graceful dance, creating draconic imagery as she moved. Her body glowed with power as her physical and magical strength were bolstered, however this activated a contingency that Mamoru had just set up. “Gambit: Power Swap.” In the same instance her dance empowered her, Mamoru immediately reallocated those bonus stats points into agility. Which in turn activated another Gambit. “Gambit: Automaize.” With this Ability she maxed out her agility to ensure full super sonic speed for a short while, more than long enough to make up for lost time. More so since the meeting place, Climax Hour, was a fair bit of a ways away from the Skeleton Quarters. Fortunately with Mamoru’s new agility where she was going she wouldn’t need stairs.

“Prepare the trebuchet!”

Mamoru would enter the room with a slow, methodical pace, acting as the graceful maiden she is. Never mind that her method of travel and arrival could be at best described as “Ballistic”. Like any proper maid, she makes sure to look refined and pure on the surface, and keeps the dirty details hidden. At the Climax Hour she would bow her head and curtsy. “Mamoru Dracobreaker, Manager Maid of Steel, at your service.”

Nay, it means we can do more fun even longer, harder, and darker than normal.
Everybody knows vampires can't get hard, dumb-dumb!

Oh don’t worry. This Maid of Steel can be hard enough for the both of them.

Mamoru should go moto-boading Light... Maybe that'll keep her away from trying to floof Ashara's tails.

Mamoru is totally stable even after the {| || || |_} of her creator and nearly other PC. She is a strong independent woman who just wants to Mofo-mofo fuzzy soft things and shag the Supreme Being. Totally wholesome and normal goals.
"Indeed. You need to be careful around the people here Sylvia. Most will be nice enough, but always be wary." Soon Ferric would return with Shor in tow. The captain had notable bags under his eyes but still seemed hale and hearty. Though you would also notice that it seems like he wasn't wearing all of his armor either, having stripped off his pouldrons and gauntlets for just his breastplate and leg armors. "Sylvia, glad to see you again. Sorry for being gone all day, things up at the castle have been... Difficult. Regardless, I heard from Yorik that you might be in some sort of trouble? Ferric has offered us a room for us to discuss our business in private, if you wish to continue there." If you did wish to follow, Ferric would show you to the private room. It was a fairly solidly build room with a hearth that had a small fire going, a low table, and two parallel couches facing each other. There were various tapestries hanging around the room to liven it up, depicting various dwarven people, warriors, and presumably rulers. Ferric also left a pitcher of water and cider for everyone, plus wooden mugs. He'd return to minding his shop while you speal to Shor.
Buddy shook his head, showing you a small note. "Just a dog." Pylia let out a deep sigh. "I don't like him. He's hiding something from me. Us. Wasn't he a leader of his own group or something? Why was he here alone and not with them?" Pylia said with notable concern. Shortfang just shrugged at Pylia's questions. "Maybe he just adventurer? Don't always stick together. Before Shortfang meet Boss, sometimes he fight for other people, and leave later. Mercenary, they call." Even so Pylia shook her head and looked towards you. "I'd advise being careful around someone like him. He might seem experienced, but he was obviously trying to take advantage of your naivety. Decent healing potions are 50 gold each, and holy water is twenty five. Trying to buy two of each for just a hundred... I'm sure he knew that any smart merchant wouldn't go that low. But you're not a merchant and he knew that."
"Iron Hammer huh? I ran into those guys before. Not so tough when they don't get the jump on you. I'm guessing you must've taken out Maul then? Big guy with the big hammer?" Domic said casually. "I went after his bounty myself, tracked him all the way to his fortress over on the southron coast. Too many bandits for me to take on with just me and Jackson though. But I guess his outfit must've ran into some bad luck if the big man himself has to do his own dirty work." Jackson walked over to Buddy, panting at him. Buddy knelt down and started playing with him, rubbing his belly and patting his face. Domic didn't seem to mind. "Well, guess I you got his bounty than. Good on ya. In any case, twas nice meeting you again Sylvia. If you want to have a few drinks or just chat again, I'll be staying at the Bloated Float tonight, over at the dock's district. I'll be leaving tomorrow morning for another job though. Good luck with your quests, hero." Domic whistled which got Jackson's attention. The dog trotted back over to Domic as the two left Ferric's shop, leaving it back to just you and your allies. Shortfang had chosen to sit on a barrel watching your conversation while Pylia was standing quietly nearby.
"Smart lass." Domic took his coin back while Pylia shot him a dirty look. Domic doesn't seem to pay her any mind and focuses on you. "Fascinating. I wish I could say my last job was exciting, but honestly all we did was escort a caravan from one outpost to another. Ran into some goblins but they didn't stay to fight, it was pretty much just a lot of walking. So tell me, I know there was a second encampment on the way to Gransys. I heard there's bandits on the road there, got any stories about that?" Domic then looked over to Buddy and nodded towards him. "Don't suppose it has anything to do with your strange friend over there. Where'd you pick him up?"
