The worst thing about mental illness is you have to look after yourself a disgusting amount. I know it's the only way to actually be in a fit state to look out for others, but it still feels wrong.

A frazzled British thirtysomething cat mum with something of a tea addiction.
I like a wide range of RP genres, but have two absolute favourites: Pokemon and magical girls. (If someone manages to combine the two, I'll be VERY happy!) I post fairly regularly, but sometimes shit mental health days crop up - if that causes any delays, I'll try to resume posting ASAP.

@fer1323 Yeah, looks like they're both going to learn things from each other, and Sophia's going to learn some things from her own experiences. Pokemon RPs have pretty good potential for coming of age stories.
@Heckno12 Which moveset do Pokemon in this get? The XY one, or the ORAS one? Because I'm just wondering what level Sophia's Staryu should be, 5 or 6. It obviously has Water Gun, and in XY it learns that at lv6, but in ORAS, it learns the move at lv4.

@fer1323 Well he possibly needs to learn to work with others, and realise he doesn't know it all. He could definitely teach Sophia a few things though. Once they open up to each other, he'll learn from her that people are more than they seem from first impressions.

@fer1323 Yeah, he could help her build her confidence, as long as he doesn't keep accidentally hitting the sore spot, he doesn't know about her issues after all. He's much more constructive than her parents are though.
@fer1323 Yeah, Sophia can't take his advice seriously and finds him annoying, but just maybe already has some small amount of respect for him. He put up a good fight, said she'd be a strong trainer, and is a graceful loser.
@fer1323 Hahahaha yes xD I'm imagining Sophia getting majorly pissed off. And secretly thinking Oscar's fighting style is awesome. And resolving to outdo him.
@fer1323 YES both are suitably awesome. I can definitely picture him battling with his full team.
@fer1323 Hi. I might have found fitting music for battles against Oscar. I mean, it's a rival battle theme, and it fits his fighting style. Can't you just imagine bursts of fire/flurries of leaves/martial arts moves to this?
