@13org Wait for me to post! XD I want Odessa to make her way over! =P
I'll try and get a post in tomorrow but if I don't, I promise one Thursday! Getting my new computer and AC will be down tomorrow (in Arizona)... so that might delay me. =3

Odessa found herself having an easier time than before dodging the orc's weapon, weaving in a few strikes here and there, that over the course of a couple minutes really started to add up. Now only did she feel invigorated and the wind magics were helping, but the orc in front of her seemed more primal than before. It was more than just rage at not being able to hit his target, but there was a subtle fear in his actions too, as if he knew that his death was drawing near. She wasted no time in taking advantage though and struck out against him once more as he swung the axe over her head, kicking at his shin - she thought she almost heard a 'pop' as the beast started to limp a little.

As the weapon was drawn over head, she moved to the side, ready to look for another opening when one was provided for her. She blinked, watching as the ice formed up around the orc's arm and smirked. Odessa heard Sonya's cry to action and nodded to herself mentally. Drawing back her fist, she swooped in to punch at the greenskin's throat, forcing arcane energies to burst through it as it made contact. The blow caused the orc's neck to nearly explode (which thankfully some of her arcane energies shielded her from the blood splatter) as it gargled in panic, reaching up to try and close the hole with it's one free hand. Spinning to pick up momentum, she kicked the center of enemy's face, forcing the entire head to come loose - perhaps overboard, but it served to not only give the orc mercy but also a message to the rest of it's kin.

Breathing in and out quickly to catch her breath, she looked over to see Silas finalize the shield orc's life and glanced over to Sonya with a meaningful look, nodding once in thanks and looking visibly relieved - so far, she had kept her promise and even more so, kept her word to Silas. For a first battle, this was turning out to be a great success, bolstering her confidence as her eyes found the orc horde once more. 'Just a little longer,' she thought.
I have some time tomorrow to post and I will! Promise! I don't have any chores or any errands until later in the afternoon. =3 It is sad to see some people fall off, but I'm still glad some of us are sticking it out! That's a compliment by the way and no way is this a chore for me. I very much enjoy this role-play. =)
By the time Kali had reached the bow, Cecilia was trading blows with the ancient creation. Though it seemed the goddess was enduring just fine, the golem was no push over to be sure, slamming the divine feature against the ground which cracked over and over from the force. Kali could feel the weapon almost call to her, like it was cooing warmly in her presence and as she pulled the bow string to fire, it nearly sang in approval. A magical arrow of light blue formed at her finger tips as it was drawn and as Kali released the arrow, it let out a gentle burst of pixie dust before storming towards it's target. The golem managed to dodge one of the goddess' blow just as the projectile hit it's back, causing a large gash - much like Cecilia's own daggers, though not quite to the same extreme - forcing the creature to turn it's attention to the mortal woman.

As it attempted to march toward her, Cecilia locked her daggers together and a whirlwind of light centered on the cross before a flash enveloped the goddess and she was instantly on the other side of the construct, her form back in a fighting stance. The only time Kali could not follow Cecilia's movements, but it was not hard to tell what had happened from the giant hole in the creature's chest. It whined loudly before slowly going limp, falling to the floor in a lifeless state. Taking in a deep breath, Cecilia slowly put her daggers back in place and smiled towards Kali, jogging over to her in an easy pace.

"Thank you.." The goddess took a moment to admire the bow. "A fitting weapon for such a powerful woman," she complimented, slowly folding her hands in front of her - almost seemingly servant-like, despite her station as a god. "The bow's name is Julia's Cord.. it was actually her bow, another forgotten goddess that no one prays to anymore.." Pausing in thought, she gave Kali a soft smile. "Let's find some fresh air, shall we?"

Before long, they stood outside the ruins as knelt down on the ground, folding her hands in her lap. Another thing Kali noticed was that she seemed less affected by temperature now, even though it was high noon and the mountains had thin air, she barely felt hot - let alone uncomfortable. "... I'll be honest," she said softly, looking down for a few moments before finding Kali's eyes. "There is something else I've been thinking of seeking. It's a rumor among gods... a relic, old as the world itself, that allows deities to cut the thread of faith. Meaning, one could be a god.. and not have a single follower. I'm thinking it might be something I'd like - if such a thing were real. I could help.. and not worry so much about being forgotten again.." At that, she simply shrugged, sighing softly. Cecilia actually looked unsure, perhaps even lost at what to really do or if she should bother trying.
I'm personally waiting on one or two more posts before posting again myself. Wanna make sure others get a chance. ^.-
"A gift?" Cecilia replied with a smirk, letting Kali continue. Thoughtful as they walked, the goddess could only smile playfully, the tinge in her own cheeks staying as she giggled a little. "Yes, well.. I have not been so complimented before.. but to think you, of all people, see me as beautiful - that is certainly flattering. I'm sure more than just a few people turn their heads to stare at you.." They both wandered into the ruins, giving way to very unnaturally kept walls of dwarven steel, copper, and chiseled stone. It had an eerie ebb and flow to it's atmosphere, seeming almost ancient and dark, but Cecilia seemed as unphased as ever and thankfully her divine aura kept Kali's own nerves at bay.

Eventually they came to a large room which the goddess stopped right before stepping inside it, looking around, adorning a more stoic expression. She took in a deep breath and slowly removed her daggers once more and looked over to Kali. Though her lips melted into a gentle smile, the seriousness of the situation never left her eyes, though it was hard to figure out why. The room itself was far too dark to really make anything out besides the copper and gold designs outlining the walls, indicating it was a very large and open room.

Lightly, Cecilia brushed her fingers against the back of Kali's hand, causing a strange sensation crawl across the woman's skin. She found herself feeling lighter, more empowered, almost as if she were waking up for the first time in her life - everything was sharper, crisper, clearer, and the dark room was now lit up through her own dark vision. At the end of the room stood a giant stone statue of sorts, but nothing like anything she had ever encountered before. It stood, motionless, but it's eyes close as if slumbering for centuries. Something in her new perception told her that the statue lived, breathed and bathed in magic. Cecilia then tensed, tightening her grip on her daggers. "Behind it is the bow.. it's arrows are made of pure magic, so you only need draw it's string.. and it's powerful. I'll distract the golem while you grab it." It was hard to imagine the stone being was enough to hold the goddess at bay, but her tone indicated that it might be.

At that moment, Cecilia darted forward with such a speed that it left the dust swirling in her wake. She was upon the golem before Kali could even breathe, but that wasn't the strangest part. The rogue found herself able to follow Ccilia with her eyes! She could tell that normally she could never read movements so fast, but she could now, as Cecilia leaped into the air and brought both daggers down. The Golem was already awake by this time, blocking the attack with it's massive arm. While the daggers clearly did far more damage than even a greatsword could hope to manage, the golem did not hesitate in grabbing Cecilia's legs and swinging her to the far wall. Her body smacked against it, causing it to crumble into a small creator. For as big as the golem was, it was unbelievably quick, having marched to the goddess in moments. This time, when the creature swung downwards, Cecilia needed to block it with both daggers. She yelled out across the room, "Kali, go!"

Her entire form lit up as the command was given, darting forward towards the trio locked in battle. She shot a pulse of arcane energy under her feet as she got right up on them, jumping and twisting in the air right over the three and landing on the other side where the tripped orc was. It was struggling to get back up, propping itself with it's shield as it reach out to it's sword. It was too late though as Odessa came shooting to it's position and kicking it's blade away. With surprise, it looked up only to feel another kick planted right on it's chest again - but this time it had an extra kick of magic, piercing through it's plate as it grunted in pain. It was hard enough to send it back onto the ground and she could feel soreness in her foot, though it was far from any actual injury.

Sticking to the plan, even though the shield orc was likely to go into a rage - from what little she knew - she left the orc to fend for itself, knowing Silas would deliver the final blow. Instead, she turned to her companion and ran over to the one with a greataxe, who had finally gotten it's weapon pulled from the earth. Again, using the momentum and drive from her magics, did a backflip as a kick landed on the orc's weapon. It forced him to nearly lose his grip on the reacquainted axe, turning his attention to Odessa and heaving the giant piece of metal at her. It didn't do any good though, since combined with his fatigue and her agility, he missed once and then twice, keeping him occupied while Silas had a chance to end the shield orc. 'Hopefully distracting this one will help!' she thought, keeping in mind to take advantage of Sonya's wind as well as.. the strange new dancer. She didn't have much time to think about it, but it seemed to be a new magic she was unfamiliar with.
Thanks @Cuddle Pot. Myself on the other hand, will post today - probably tonight after my errands. Just got back from the trip for my wife's graduation last night. =3

Kali glanced towards Anela after her remark towards herself ’I suppose given who it is coming from, it should be taken as a complement’ Kali thought to herself as a small smile crept up at the edge of her lips, glad to see that despite her pride she still felt the same as Kali felt. As the eyes of the Goddess fell upon her though, Kali’s found her vision was quickly dragged back towards Cecilia as she spoke to them once more, her attention once more undivided as the Goddess continued the story of the years long since passed. As Cecilia pushed herself up from the table, her form gracefully weaving through the air as she paced in the shrine, Kali’s mind drifted back to the words both Anela and Cecilia had spoken ’To be gifted the Wisdom and Guidance of a Goddess as fair and noble as Cecilia, though I may be foolish as Anela had said I stand by that decision I made in that moment.’.

With her mind confident that she truly agreed with what she had said, her heart quickened as the Goddess gazed at them once more and spoke of the prospect of a hero’s life. To quest across the land in the name of Cecilia! Often when her mind wandered through the endless fields of possibilities, the prospect of becoming a hero had always been a favourable dream to pondered on for hours. And yet now here came the chance for that dream to become reality. Catching the Goddess’s eyes for but a moment Kali felt a tinge of heat in her cheeks, a reaction she was sure would remain for many an encounter yet. So caught up in the moment and the idea of being a hero, Kali almost missed that last word as is so gently slipped from those divine lips, Kali almost doubting if she had even heard it correctly.

’Yet? Does that mean we could become Immortal? To be with Cecilia forever?!’ Kali’s mind quickly raced with the possibilities of what such a future could hold. Quickly clamping that train of thoughts down before she lost herself in day-dreaming, she forced herself to focus back on Cecilia’s question as she was no doubt expecting an answer. ’W-well, I can’t say I’ve ever had to fight in a proper battle before…” Kali started off rather bashfully, wanting to be honest of her abilities but at the same time not wanting to come off as useless ’Nor have I had the chance to delve into the arcane arts. B-but I do have some skill with a bow and have some skill in tracking from the times I’ve been hunting.’. Pausing for a moment she thought about the best way to word her next statement ”..And I have had some experience with some sleight of hand along with inconspicuous movements out in public ”

Cecilia smiled at Kali and paused with it on her face before slowing sheathing her blades at her back. "So you are a rogue of sorts.. but prefer the bow.. I can work with this." She nodded and started toward the exit of the shrine, glancing back. "Come, we have a place to visit for you.."

~Later, after Adela had decided that it was indeed foolish to follow the Goddess..

The pair was now walking up a mountain trail as the light breeze brushed their skin, the sun high in the sky, but just barely above the peaks as the rays shined across the dirt road. It was said giants often made their camps here, but Cecilia had walked forth as if the notion made little matter to her, though she did seem slightly disappointed that Adela had back away and went her own way. Eventually they came to a large fire, the grey smoke waffling into the upper skies, indicating the presence of the large humanoids. The goddess paused and glanced back, giving Kali a reassuring smile. "You needn't worry.. I'll make sure you're protected," she said with a soft reassuring tone.

As they approached the camp, two male giants perked up and turned to watch the goddess stroll towards them, quickly jumping up and grabbing large clubs - these were not well equipped men at all, but rather nomads of sorts, though a small tribe had apparently marked this area. Behind them were entrance to ancient ruins of sorts, but they were not of the norm - no, they had stood the test of time and were built with sharp angles and dwarven steel. It was a prize and the giants meant to keep it that way, though as Cecilia drew closer, they could help but chuckle.

"Look. Tiny woman comes to us! She think she brave - steal our new home. You are silly, girl!" Though perhaps not lacking as much intelligence as rumors would have one believe, they're grammar was broken none-the-less, even though that didn't make them any less threatening. The other chimed in, sounding a bit smarter. "Yes, brother, I see. Do you really think those tiny sticks on your back will help you? Shoo! Now! Before things get nasty.." He puffed up his chest as he bellowed out, before glaring at her.

Cecilia came to a slow stop and looked them over before pursing her lips in slight irritation. "Move aside. I am not here to steal your home, but there is something in there that I am claiming." Her tone was far more confident than before at the shine, making it obvious how - perhaps - bashful the goddess had been before. Here, she held no such fears, pulling out her twin daggers slowly. The gesture was not lost on the giants however as they charged, their pride being challenged. The first giant swung his club downwards, threatening to squash Cecilia into the ground, but the goddess raised one of her daggers to block it. The other giant threw back his club as well, ready to attack, but found himself stumble in surprise.

Under the first club stood Cecilia, holding her dagger against it as if it were but a feather. Even in her current condition - only with one follower - she was in a completely different class then even giants. Truly, there was no contest. She pushed against the club and nearly sent the giant stumbling backwards before it regained it's balance. Causally so, she lowered her weapons and pointed down another path opposite of her and Kali. "I would suggest you leave us be.. lest you see what I'm truly capable of.." The smarter of the two scowled in disgust but finally nodded, grabbing his brother and pulling him away, leaving the two women to themselves.

The goddess put her weapons away and looked back to Kali, smiling softly as she gestured that it was safe. "See?" she said, "I told you it'd be safe. There is a bow in here.. that we are seeking for you.. after all, all heroes need a legendary weapon, do they not?" She smiled warmly and the shyness all the more noticeable now in face of what she could do. Cecilia was not sure if she felt this subtle attraction because Kali was someone she'd normally be interested in or because it was her that was sustaining her presence here.. but honestly, the goddess didn't care much at the moment.
