Crystallis is a highly imaginative Fiction that is welcome to newer and experienced role-players alike.

It is set in a post apocalyptical world where people have rebuilt into a medieval type setting, animals have grown and become something fantastical, and magic has been rediscovered.

There is a great evil being named Draygon who wants to destroy the world, and Draygon has sent soldiers into the world to sow terror. You get to play as either one of the Oracles waking up from cryosleep, one of the people of the world who have been living under the oppression of Draygon, a creature of the world who has evolved into something never seen before, or one of the evil lieutenants working for Draygon to terrorize the world.

you can bring in a Thracian, the character classes of Grizzled Vet or Ambitious Citizen are not limited to only Sparta. The time period is more important than the region. A Good fight is more important than all of it.

Sword descriptions with accessories are posted, character sheet requests are up. The character sheet is as simple as a picture and a description of how you'd like to play your character. For Persons of the World you can formulate a complete history and fully realized character.

Once a few persons have committed their interest and manifested a character I will post a kicker IC post which will encapsulate the moment when the Oracles awaken and set the villains to play.

Character Classes

	Oracle The Oracles are mysterious beings who have been asleep in cryostasis for hundreds of years. They have knowledge of technology and can absorb the abilities of every class from the masters of that class. For example, they can learn Healing magic from a Paladin, Theft from a Rogue, or Mechanics from a Tinkerer. These mysterious beings are lithe and beautiful, they generally move quickly and are reasonably strong. They also have the unique ability to use the Elemental Swords with both their battery and their bracelet, charging them to a third level and harnessing devastating power. These individuals exists to discover a reason for being, they have to decide whether they want to become world saviors or world destroyers.
	Paladin The Paladin is a knight of virtue. They are trained in the Castles as well as the Temples. Their function is to protect the villages from the monsters in the wilds and police the citizens. They are ample fighters with strong armor, and they have access to basic magic. Every Paladin can heal and cast barrier on themselves, they also have access to a third spell unique to the knight. If you choose to play a Paladin then you must play as an idealist, one who believes in the greatest good and works towards the achievement of that good. The Paladins protect the weak and help the innocent, and that is why they have been trusted with the protection of the realm. When you pick a picture for your character pick a knight is bright armor.
	Tinker Tinkers are explorers, mechanics, and artificers. No one has a greater appreciation for discovering how things worked in the Ancient World, and no one else has the ability to harness the power from that world better. As melee fighters they are generally lacking, but as creative problem solvers they reign supreme! This character allows you access to bombs, traps, crossbows, and a cattle prod like taser. They can fix and upgrade armors and weapons, and they can repair and use some of the ancient tech that's spread throughout the world. As you play this character be reasonable, it has been hundreds of years since the fall of modern civilization so not all tech will still work. Play this character with a personality to match its profession.
	Rogue Sometimes people just don't fit in anywhere, and this person is called a Rogue. Rogues are travelers, individuals who prefer to find a new place as apposed to settling down. They are generally amoral and so they have no problem with petty theft and are frequently as familiar with local jails as they are with local inns. They come with lockpicking and pickpocketing skills. Their history can range from disenfranchised veteran to homeless orphan. They have fair dexterity in a straight fight but prefer to use archery or assassin daggers to supplement their ability to be clever. This character offers much in the terms of creative freedom.
	Druid Druids are masters of focus and discipline. They have committed to a sacred vow to respect life and not to kill, in order to secure that vow they have mastered the art of fighting without killing. Yes, they are martial art experts, and they are awesome! They can also communicate with animals, and they have access to the curative spells of healing and antidote. They are fast and agile and they fight with a staff. Play these character with a sense of empathy and love for the people and creatures in the world. If a druid does not act with these characteristics then they have left the path and are rogues with druid skills but with no magic powers but they still be able to talk to animals.
	Bard Are you inspired by the world to write songs and poetry? Then you may be a Bard! Bards search the depths of their souls to understand the world around and capture its essence. They are charming, witty, and usually very attractive people. The bard is charismatic and well liked by most, so they have bonuses when it comes to interacting with the world around them. They are never turned away at inns or shops, and can frequently get goods in exchange for a performance. They can inspire their comrades as well so in a group fight every gets additional strength and confidence. Play these characters with the fun and exuberance that a bard should inspire in others.
	Fantastical Beast In our post apocalyptical world the animals have changed. They have grown and shrunk, and many glow with strange colors. Some are sentient, and some are not. Playing these creatures allows you to be an individual, or a race of creatures. Their sentience can be as you determine, and their character progression is as you determine. If your creature is anthropomorphic they exist in their own class and have to develop their skills on their own, no bonuses. Also, you can choose to play a population of creatures as a nation and they can work with or against our heroes. Playing creatures can be rewarding and interesting, that's why it is here, but there will be considerations to work out so that you aren't playing an unstoppable force of nature.
	Lieutenants of Draygon The Lieutenants are evil, and they serve only destruction and fear. They work for Draygon, a mysterious entity who desires to destroy all life on the planet and suffers his lieutenants to do the same. They are named after the monsters of children's fables, like the Jabberwocky, JubJub Bird, and Bandersnatch. They can morph from a humanoid form to a monstrous form. Some of them have strange powers to morph through walls or control the minds of others. Many can breath fire or ice, or fire lightening from their mouths. When you play them, you are the enemy, and you want to kill or capture the Oracles.

Sword Information

	The Swords In their wisdom the ancients imbued special swords with the power of elemental forces. The sword alone carries the power to shoot a bullet of elemental power by the wielder, the only requirement is that the wielder take a moment to focus and project. The swords are spread throughout the world, guarded and hidden, only the enigmatic Wizards know where they might be.
	Pommel Batteries For every sword there exists a battery which can be attached to the pommel and will add a second level of power to the sword's elemental attack. So a fire sword will release an explosion, a wind sword will release a cyclone, and so forth. The location of the batteries is unknown to the Wizards, and sometimes they are passed around the world with little to no understanding of what they are. Finding the batteries is essential to unlocking the third and most powerful manifestation of the swords.
	Elemental Armlets The Oracles were made for a reason, to be a counter to the destructive force unleashed on the world by the mistakes of those who destroyed the world. Unique to the Oracles is the ability to wear special bracers which link to the charged swords and through them unleash the full power of their elemental capacity. For example, the wind sword unleashed a Tornado, the fire sword unleashed a larger explosion, the thunder storm unleashes a hurricane, etc. Using the third level of the swords requires energy from the user as well as time, but the power it grants is a game changer in any situation.

*To an extent this is a living document, certain parts will be updated as you go through your adventure. Things like equipment, skills, magic, and swords will need to kept track of.

The Lions of Rhaetia (CANCELLED)

Teddy heard the canon explosion and then heard the screams after. Then came the smell, a sweet smell of Sulphur and copper. Teddy took a step towards the door and flinched, he looked down at his should and saw a small, round spot of dark blood on his green uniform. Huh! it's like... Christmas. he thought. The shock of his adrenaline rush hadn't worn off yet and so he didn't feel any pain when he had reloaded his rifle, but the pain was going to come soon, very soon.

When He walked out the door he was greeted by a blood spattered Sir Briggs, whinnying happily as if being surrounded by guns firing was the most natural state of the world. The horse came over and nuzzled Teddy's face. Teddy reflexively raised his hand and patted the horse, his eyes wide with surprise. Across the street he saw the Sarge had run down the hill next to the bridge and was firing at the Tallions who were trying to reload the big gun. Big guns draw fire. Teddy said in his head like some sort of school lesson.

Captain Krauss rode by with a mass of Rhaetians yelling and firing at the Tallions on the other side of the bridge. Sir Briggs neighed and bolted after them in full sprint. "No! Wait!!" Teddy yelled, but the mad horse had a mind of its own, Teddy took off running after. The horse got to the stone of the bridge which was covered with blood and viscera, and slipped... the horse fell right over the side into the river!

"BRIGGSS!!!" Teddy screamed and ran to the edge of the bridge. Gun fire was dinging off of surfaces all around him, he could see the retreating yellow jackets running into the woods beyond the houses close to the bridge. The Captain was swinging his sword and conducting the slaughter like a maestro directs an orchestra. Teddy looked into the water, "Briggs!" he said weepily. He couldn't see his horse, the water couldn't be that deep. He scanned the water and there, closer to the other bank, Sir Briggs had swum across the river and made it to the other bank, then, it laid down.

Teddy's eyes went wide and he ran across the bridge and down the opposite bank to his horse, who was breathing heavily. "OhmyGodohmyGodohmyGod!! You g#ddam stupid f#cking horse! What the hell is wrong with you?" His hands were gliding over the horse's body, pushing on muscles, tenderly checking joints, looking at his shoes, as if by a miracle nothing was broken, but the horse was covered in nicks, scrapes, and one stab wound that didn't look too deep. The horse let out a raspberry, "Was that a laugh?" Teddy asked, the horse whinnied and nodded his big head. "Jesus Effing Fudge sickle! Where did you come from?" Teddy had put his leg under the horses head and cradled it in his lap.

Captain Kraus came over, covered in blood and breathing hard but otherwise unmolested. "You need a room Trooper?" He said grittily, but Teddy say he was smiling under his mustache. The Captain didn't wait for a response, "Get over to your Sargent, and get your shoulder looked after. Tell Hecht we saw a couple Dragoons make it into the woods on horse, he'll know what that means. Go. NOW!" He commanded.

"mah.. my horse though?" as if on cue Sir Briggs got himself up, not briskly but steadily, and began walking towards the bridge. The Captain was smiling, "I swear that horse is a better soldier than you Trooper. Now get!" Teddy didn't have to be told twice, he got up and ran after his horse.
