@Snagglepuss89@Sabotage Indeed, as the rooster of character grows it only means much more rich RP world and story potentials, and I see no reason why this RP should only focus on one main storyline. Some of the characters don't even need to be in the same place, a lot of ongoing parallel stories can be happening under the same umbrella of Krankton.

@Garden Gnome Yes absolutely! Please read the CS of the other characters for inspiration and a richer idea of the RP world.

@Everyone I am currently working on the IC POST so expect this to kick off pretty soon now!
@Snagglepuss89@AtlasRedfox It is really a privilege to be RPing with people like you, it is true that recently this site has had quite a streak of negative experiences with me, couple of RPs that died before even starting either due to quick death of interest or general low morale and attitude of fellow RP'ers. I don't wanna set high hopes, but I feel like this RP is going to be one of those that will last for a long time, and we will have much fun! :D
@MalikoyOh believe me, I didn't suspect for a second he was a force of goodness. I mentioned in the Judge's profile about him being on the Baron's side until there was 'proof' he was on the wrong side of the law. I can imagine he's already heard rumors of his past and done his own investigating.

Yes I read that and admired it, I really am liking how we haven't even started this RP and we already got a dozen good story arcs and characters conflicts potentials!

@Pirouette That sounds good, kate's story is too good to be altered, it is rich and full of material for future story arcs. And I can't wait to see her interact with the Judge and the Baron himself.

@oakman That is a killer character Oakman! *applause*, I will be very intrigued to see how you are going to handle such a character! I trust your judgement and creativity!

@Nevix I believe we are, yes! We haven't even started and we already got a good amount of material, this RP is going to be one heck of a story! Get in and start a character already! Make sure to read the other characters' histories for inspiration on writing and generally having more background about this world!
@Malikoy I think I have the timeline off for a couple years, but it's literally a five second edit since I actually didn't write any time-sensitive info based around the post-apocalypse.

As for them having a good relationship, I agree. They probably butt heads over issues here and there but generally get along and work together. At the very least, they would have a professional respect for each other's work.

Glad to hear that! Don't want you to go into trouble with the timeline, it was all my fault should have done something about it at the beginning. Anyway, I will disclose something to you, the Baron is not what he seems. So I think we will expect some real good moral conflicts down the line, given the Judge cares about pure justice and that vision remains untainted as the story progress!
Alright so I need to clarify a few things about the timeline before it gets too confusing or out of continuity, after you read up my quick timeline review up ahead please check if your character's history checks with it.

So The Apocalypse strikes, the Baron is still in Yegmor County, he decides to move to Krankton County with his wife where she gets murdered along the way. The Baron makes it to Thrivenshell, it is an abandoned town, looted, and filled with blood and bodies. At this point it has been a week since the Apocalyptic storm hit, and at this time period the Baron started his ascent to repair town and climb to power. After six months of toiling and recruiting new survivors, he slowly built Thrivenshell back to its former glory and had his early draft of the Elites.

@Snagglepuss89 's Beauregard "Judge" Moore was born in town, and he was well known before the Baron even came to town, so I believe he and the Baron have a good relationship together, and he was one of the few surviving original inhabitants of the town.

@Pirouette's Kate escaped Yegmor County with her remaining family just after the Apocalypse, so I would suggest that she was there just right after the Baron set foot and started his ascent to power. So we will have to edit her history of growing up in Thrivenshell since only 2 years passed from that time. But her story remains the same, nothing changed about that, just edit out her growing up in the orphanage and all. I suggest she left Yegmor at age 22, and now she is 24.

And that brings us to the present time of the RP which 2 years from the apocalypse, whoever has MAJOR continuity error fix it, otherwise just work around it. And as for @Sabotage's Forbes I see no Problem with his Character.

---

I have contacted @Oakman and he is currently writing his CS as I am typing this, and we have one more character coming up that will have a close relationship with the Baron. Any questions or suggestions? :D

@AtlasRedfox I am sorry to hear that, I hope all is well mate!
@Snagglepuss89

I really liked the Judge, he has a very interesting origin and sounds perfect as Thrivenshell's sheriff. I admired that you actually made a connection there between Judge and the Baron, can't wait to see their interactions unfolding in the IC. Accepted!

@Sabotage

I have read the first 3 books in the Dark Tower series, and you can't believe how much it inspired me to do certain writings and RP's, this one included. So it is nice to see a character that has been inspired by none other than Roland, your character is accepted and the magic is fine!

@Pirouette

Accepted! Everything seems fine about her, I like that you opened up a chance for side-stories with the Higgy Bottom Boys! But you might want to flesh out how she acquired her magical abilities for her dead eye, either edit the Character Sheet or simply allude to it in a future Flashback in the IC!

As for the art, you are all doing fine, I meant avoid amateur art such as poorly drawn sketches with bad anatomy blah blah. So I will wait for @Oakman and @AtlasRedfox to drop their characters, work on my second character and then we can begin the RP..

Meanwhile you can keep this thing kicking by discussing ideas or questions or whatever in the OOC, I am planning to have a very active OOC that we may connect and know each other in. :)

Name> Baron Garef
Gender> Male
Age> 46
Appearance> Baron Garef has a very serious and intimidating facial build, a grotesque pose that matches the impression his face gives off, and the deepest voice in the Krankton region. He always dress in formal wears that are mostly dented with dirt and blood from his many battles. The most noticeable feature about the Baron is perhaps his mustache and his sharp eyes, others might instead eye his wedding ring that belongs to his long dead wife, Madame Tabitha. The Baron is tall, he is taller than the average man and has a very striking presence, he walks calmly and with ease within his fancy attire.

History> Before the Apocalypse the Baron still had his title, nobody ever called him by his real name, which doesn't happen to be 'Garef' either. Some of the folks in the Thrivenshell village argue about the true origin of the Baron, some have talked about the possibility that their Mayor Baron is the same wanted man that once terrorized the neighboring Yegmor County. Words of his massive bodycount, various heists, assassinations and lootings. This story however doesn't have any proof as yet none have gone to the Yegmor County and came back in one piece, so the people who had second thoughts just stuck with the story the Baron himself once told his townspeople.

The Baron was born in Yegmor to a landlord and an artisan mother, he lived a rich and happy life, his childhood was void of any personal conflict. When he was older he was sent to the Yegmor Academy to learn the ways of banking and business, he graduated with honors and moved back to his hometown to expand his father's real-estate business. He married Tabitha Yohan when he turned 28 and decided to move to the Yegmor City, there he expanded his business farther and gained massive amount of fortune, fame and reputation. When the apocalypse happened, he never knew what caused it, or what it really was, the Baron decided to take what little money he could and escape with his wife to the neighboring Krankton County.

The way to Krankton was harsh and brutal, the apocalyptic storm was still at its peak, sweeping sand and despair all through out the world. Those that survived were either gravely injured or turned mad and gruesome, the cruelty of the storm led to a band of merchants turning into murderous hunters that attacked the Baron's convoy. Tabitha was murdered, and the Baron was spared with nothing but a huge grief and stolen fortune. He was left alive, one of the hunters simply recollecting to another, "His eyes are carrying a blaze that could burn this world anew."

The Baron never mentioned how he ended up as the mayor of Thrivenshell, but the few people that survived the apocalypse and used to live in the town simply claimed he appeared out of nowhere and claimed an office that was greatly needed to be filled. It has been two years since the Baron first claimed the chair for mayor, and since then he has made quite an impact on the entire Krankton region. He has his own army, called the "Elites", that he uses to guard his town, look for other survivors, scavenge resources and fight his fights. He has his own palace and farm on the outskirts of the town that is heavily guarded.

Personality> will be explored in the OOC.
Abilities and Skills> Leadership, master gunslinger, adept in social skills and a masterful trader and businessman.
Weapons> An armory in his Palace, but his favorite weapon is his custom made six-shooter revolver that is painted black and red. He also has a massive dagger always hiding beneath his coat.
Alignment> Neutral
Family and Friends> Deceased wife, Tabitha Yohan
