Ivan said as he got closer and closer to the girls face before hearing the other one and looking at her and telling she was sad. "but but but, don't go, here I'll give some of my lunch" he said pointing the un gnarled part of his vegetable.

Kanji looked up from his map to agree with his friend, rushing to save the woman. "you ok ma'am" he shouted a bit reluctant to help the woman. They had barely enough food for themselves but no they needed to feed another. Still he would never forgive himself for doing such a thing, and perhaps they would get directions from the lady, but he doubted it. Still it was worth a shot. Now nearing the lady kanji inhaled the stench of rotting flesh and attempted to hold in his near vomit reaction. Now putting his hand on the rapier strapped on his lower hip he wondered what would come next.

Slowly sitting down as he mustered to get his head back up he looked terribly ill only to change instantly to a large smile at the group and he threw his brown sack of food on the table. "so sorry about that, you food... It smelled like I imaged heaven to, and I got so excited I nearly crashed right into you all..." he said now slightly covering his face with his hat.

Ivan was selling his wares when he heard talk of the fighting tournament and jumped with glee. He had always wanted to join but was never in town at the right time, or had other duties, but not today. Smelling his way by the sent of booze he managed to get to the tryout sheets and eventually managed to spell his name. He was getting better at that. Sitting down next to a large man smelling of booze he smiled to him before looking away. "I'm excited, aren't you" he said not even looking to a single person.
