I mean, if you're the only one with non-mutant origin I'd be okay with it. But if other people would like to go that route, and I'd had to stop them, then I think it would be fair for you to go mutant as well
roleplayerguild.com/rolls/29785 - Mother of Pearl rolled a -2, so Leo is first to act.
That one is rank 2. In the core rulebook, the rank is listed below the power's title. Let me know if you have any trouble locating that.
@Birdboy I'm a little confused. Is the origin of his powers the spirit of a dragon or is he a mutant? Also, both Flight 1 and Mighty 2 are Rank 2 powers. You guys will be Rookies, Rank 1.

@Guardian Angel Haruki Shape-Shift is a Rank 3 power. You guys will be Rookies, Rank 1. Also Ability Defense Score is calculated for each Ability Score. So you have a defense of 12 for Agility, but a defense of 11 for ego, for example.

What makes you say that? I'm hoping to play a total himbo who's a sweat heart but struggles to control his strength.

Love Himbos

The liquid tastes like sweet nectar mixed with liquid fire. It slides down your throat and instantly explodes into warmth in your stomach. The numbness in your limbs vanishes. Your heart beats strong and steady. The magical energy you spent earlier floods back into your veins, stronger than before. You feel awake. You feel powerful.

Strix watches you recover with a critical eye, nodding once she sees the color return to your cheeks. She crosses her arms over her chest.

"The Noble Starweaver is a Genie," she begins, her voice crisp and matter-of-fact. "A Djinni of the Elemental Plane of Air. I have served as his eyes and ears for decades. But years ago, he simply... vanished. The bond I shared with him went dark. I could barely sense he was still alive."

She paces slightly, kicking a small stone into the fire.

"Last night, for the first time in years, I felt his presence return. It was blindingly bright. I tracked the magical signature to Thornwood, to the very alley where I found you sleeping. I expected to find my Master restored." She stops and looks directly at you. "Instead, I found you."

She gestures to the air around you, implying the invisible magic you now wield.

"The Weaver does not always speak plainly, but the conclusion is logical. You freed him from whatever prison held him captive. In return, he has invested a spark of his power into you. That is what makes you a Herald."

She steps closer, her voice lowering slightly, becoming more intense.

"He told me why he sent you here. This kingdom can offer you the three things you desire most: Distance, Truth, and Power."

Strix pauses, letting the words settle before delivering the final piece of intelligence.

"And he confirmed what you are looking for. Your sister, Leila, is in this kingdom. She is to the North. I tried to scry her exact location, but I cannot see her. Another powerful force is hiding her from my sight, shrouding her in a veil I cannot yet pierce."
On that 20 Arcana check, you sense that whatever power resides within this seemingly dormant statue would be far beyond your current capabilities to handle.
Meli asked if this was normal. I leaned in close to her as we walked.

"It is not normal. But urgent news opens doors."

I followed the guard into the office. Chief Garou was a mountain of a man. I sat down when he offered the seat.

Under the long sleeve of my coat, my right hand curled into a tight fist. I felt my claws press hard against the leather of my glove. The scales on my arm felt warm, but I kept it hidden and remained still.

"Thank you for seeing us, Chief Garou," I began. "We lived in an orchard near here. There was a community of satyrs living close to us called the Moonpetal Gathering."

I paused for a moment to let the information settle.

"Yesterday, a group of mercenaries attacked. They burned our home and captured the satyr families. I saw their emblem. They are known as the Windpikes."

I watched his expression closely.

"They are enforcers who do the dirty work for the Ophidian forces. They are active in this region right now."

I stopped there. I did not ask for anything or make any promises. I simply sat back and waited to see how he would react to the news of the Windpikes and the attack.
Edited Meli's CS: rolled a 2 for HP roleplayerguild.com/rolls/29777 and added Healing Word as her new spell.
The music started to play across the lawn. It was the signal we had been waiting for. I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I was glad to be done with the idle chatter and the useless investigations.

"Shall we?" I asked Lady Agnes and my grandfather.

I offered my arm to Lady Agnes. I made sure Aldric was moving with us. We joined the stream of guests heading toward the dais. I found the chair reserved for me and took my seat. It was time to watch Professor Finch get married.
