I don't like kids or will ever want one of my own. I'll be the cool aunt any day but having one is a big no.

I hate everyone that tells me that I'll change my mind in the future. No. I've been hearing that since I was 15.
Interested with a daughter of Hecate or son of Aphrodite!

Lilith had to stifle her laughter when Marinalia began to cuss her off. She didn't blame the chick, nor did Lilith mind. It was something she was used to for being overly friendly and abrasive with people. Although, it was cute to see the shorter girl get so worked up over it. How could she not stand out with her overly fancy clothes and posh accent in a smoothie bar?

"Deffenetly not a jerk, but I could be one if you want me to." Lilith gave the girl a grin as she brought up her sandwich to her face and took a big bite from it. Maybe she should have gotten a soup with her meal. To warm her up a bit more before she was forced to face the cold again.

"Oh! Aria, you mean? She's the cutest girl in this city! Ohmigosh, she's so cool too! Last night- she took me to her apartment, and we did some very very nice things." Lilith winked at Marinalia just as the blonde put her phone away. "Anyway, she showed me all of her equipment- and gosh was she so cool. It was even better to wake up to her bedhead. I honestly never knew anyone could look that good with bedhead." She began to fan herself as if she was getting hot.

Lilith took her smoothie and slurped a good amount as she listened to Marinalia. "Oh! I'm Lilith without all those fancy-sounding names. Just your high-end local stripper." Lilith motioned to her body with the hand that was holding her green smoothie. "My body is the money maker, babe, I gotta keep this thing looking nice if I want to stay on the top. I am pretty hot, ain't I? I would have shown you move if we had met in the showers." Lilith didn't mind telling people where she worked, as long as they didn't insult her for it and if she wasn't looking anything serious from them. Marinalia seemed like a fine person, and she was sure she wouldn't mind befriending a stripper. Or a dancer. Whatever.

"Hey- you can always go over and visit. If my memory is correct, you granddaddy is some rich guy right? Spend some money on me." She crossed a leg over the other with a grin as she took another sip of her smoothie. "We got specials for couples. You can bring in your little girlfriend," she said in a teasing tone and winked at Marinalia.

Alejandro ignored everything and anything that had to do with work during the daily morning work out. Mara continued to tell him about new stuff she had dug out about Nikki or their new friend Shannon. He didn't want to hear anything about them or the business for the rest of the weekend. Saturday was supposed to be his day off from work and any worries from the whole drug ring thing, but it was ruined by their new friend. Although, he did had to admit he liked their new friend despite everything that Mara was telling him now- which he was trying to ignore very very hard.

As long as Alejandro secured Sol under his family's name and business- the rest didn't matter. He had been successful so far. Before Sol, Huston had been his last conquer. The city had been riled with so many gangs and corrupt police that bringing it down to its knees before Alejandro had taken him quite a while. But as always, he came out on top. His sister had stayed behind to help keep Huston under their family's thumb, but she would have to move on soon and follow close behind him.

Before that, Alejandro had to make sure Sol was under his control.

"I'm not supposed to be thinking about this!" Alejandro groaned loudly as he dropped the weights he had been carrying on the ground, startling his personal trainer. "We're done for today. I need to get out."

"Alejandro, we still need to discuss about you-"

"No, no we don't. Mara take the day off. John will be with me. Just go out and enjoy your day. Call your mother or your siblings. Just- just rest, okay?" Alejandro didn't let her finish. He didn't want to hear about it anymore. Just like she did, Alejandro had to keep his mind clear from it all. At least for one day.

The two men arrived at The Coffee Pot just an hour after. Alejandro had dressed in black jeans, a gray hoodie, and a black coat over it to keep the chilly hair from making him freeze his ass off. He was not made for the cold one bit. Unlike John, who seemed perfectly fine in his usual black suit with only a black coat over his shoulders, Alejandro never understood how the hell could that man be perfectly fine in the searing hot and the freezing cold.

Alejandro guided John to the closest table to the counter, where he took a seat and glanced around the place. It was his first time in The Coffee Shop, and since John recommended the place, he had been okay with coming here. The place looked homey enough, and it wasn't cold like it was outside. Besides, the people here weren't so bad on the eyes.

"If you keep looking at the waiter, I might get jealous." John said as he pulled out his phone to look at the text message he had reieved from Mara.

"Shut up." Alejandro rolled his eyes and turned to look John with a smile. "You're not the jealous type." He took John's phone and turned off the screen. "However, I am. Stop texting Mara and pay attention to me."

John gave Alejandro a glare before taking his phone back and looking at the waiter with the silver hair. "He is cuter than you."

"Rude." Alejandro huffed and looked back at the waiter too. "I'm hungry. I could go with some pancakes. Or cake. Or some of that as- Ouch!" He couldn't finish due to John;s fist meeting his head in a not so gentle manner.

"Stop talking." John said as he stood up to take two menus. The faster they got their breakfast, the faster they could get out, and Alejandro ould stop talking about eating cake. With that, he waved down the waiter with the silver hair to take their order.

Overall, the food festival had been a success in Lilith's part. The date with Aria had gone extremely well with them ending up in Aria's apartment. Aria had shown her some of her instruments and such while they drank- in the end both of them ended up drunk. Lilith had spent the night over and it was the first time she had shared a bed with someone else in weeks without having sex. So it had been nice to wake up to Aria's adorable sleeping face in the morning.

Lilith did have to leave early to keep her strict work out schedule, so after cooking a nice breakfast for Aria and leaving a note saying "You look adorable when you, sleep and that bedhead is to die for. I hope you like pancakes with strawberries. I'll text you later <3" While their night had been nice, there had been a moment that Lilith had to do some explaining. She didn't mind it. Lilith was the kind of person to not be ashamed of who she was. So when Aria asked who t, he woman on her phone was she simply explained and showed her more pictures. The woman was her best friend, Ruby. The same Ruby who was apparently now dating some rich dude and she wasn't going to be working with Lilith anymore. She had gone on a rant about it that lasted their Uber trip to Aria's place. Lilith only shut up about it when Aria offered a beer.

After that, both women ended up drinking a little bit too much. At least not too much to stop Lilith from getting an Uber back home and getting ready for her workout in the Luna Center. After getting an Uber back ho, me to pick up her clothes she drove down to the sports center to begin her regular work out. Forty minutes on the treadmill, thirty on the stairs, ten on the wights and other thirty working her butt. Her butt was her moneymaker, other than the sick moves she could do on the pole- but she had to burn everything she had eaten the day before. And the beer.

After a quick shower and changing from her usual yoga pants and sports bras to pair of gray sweat pants, a black bralet, and a green fluffy sweater to keep her warm she headed to her favorite smoothie bar. Like she did usually, Lilith ordered a large green smoothie along with a breakfast sandwich and a fruit salad. But unlike she usually did, this time Lilith decided to eat at the place instead of heading back home to eat. Instead, she took a seat by one of the comfy chairs by the window to eat.

The sky outside was gloomy and a dark gray, Lilith's not so favorite kind of weather. She preferred the sun and the warmth than the rain and cold air. Though, she did have to admit that it was the perfect cuddling weather. Maybe she could head back to Aria's place and demand some cuddles.

By the way, Lilith still had to text her.

Morning sleepy head! Thanks for letting me sleepover. Oh! btw I took hostage of one of your hoodies. It was cold so I had to borrow one! Text me when you can.

Lilith made sure to add a cute bunny emoji before hitting send and putting her phone away. She looked around the place then looked back out the window. That's when she saw that one British girl from the day before. She double back to look at her and squinted her eyes.

"Hey! You! British chick!" she waved down the girl with a grin and her smoothie in her hand. "Come sit with her." She ignored all of the weird looks she got from the other customers. Lilith was happy to see a familiar face and while she waited for the girl she would get some time to, remember her name.

"Mar... Mari. Mary? No." Lilith rubbed her chin as she slurped on her smoothie. "Marmaduke? Nah that's a dog. Marinalia. Yeah, that sounds British enough."
Interested! I've been craving to do some zombie RP for a while now.
If there is an option to double up characters I would gladly do it too.

Lilith shook her head and gave Aria another kiss on the cheek. "You'll tell me- when it feels right for you." She took Aria's hand and began to lead her out of the food festival. Aria seemed to have some unsolved issues, but like, who didn't? Lilith had plenty of her own, so she understood Aria's eagerness and ultimate effort to want to tell Lilith about them. If she were in the other girl's shoes, she would have done the same. But as a wise person said, "everything takes time." Or something like that. Aria wanted to tell Lilith and the thought is what mattered. Besides, Lilith herself wanted to tell her a few other things that would be best reserved for an already established relationship.

"Oh! You don't have the app? Don't worry! I got this one then." Lilith turned on her phone on, showing off a picture of herself and another woman in platinum blonde hair and bright red lipstick. In the picture, both women seemed to be on a beach while holding up coconuts with little straw umbrellas. "As I said, don't worry about it. I should have driven here but I thought they would have some cheap beer. These festivals always overcharge for alcohol." Lilith rolled her eyes just as she opened the app, and then someone bumped into her.

"Hey! Watch it buddy- oh! The cute girl from the coffee shop." Lilith had turned around to look at the blondie, her grimace turning into a grin. Lilith was ready to kick off her heels and throw hands if needed, but as it turned out, it was the girl from the morning. A pleasant surprise. Or something like that. "Nice seeing you? Or not? She had blinked as she watched the shorter girl practically run away. Was she usually this awkward? It was cute, so Lilith shrugged it off and turned her attention back to Aria. The uber! Right!

"Here, just write down your address." She let Aria have her phone while she rubbed her hands together for some warmth. Since they had left the smoking area she had gotten a bit colder and was just trying to keep her hands warm for now. How Lilith hoped that Aria had some heating in her place- or if she would let her borrow something warm to wear. Oh, Lilith would definitely steal a hoodie from her. When Aria was done, she smiled at her and took her phone back to order the Uber. "Two minutes away! Not bad. We should walk to the designated pick-up area to make it easier for the guy." She hooked her arm around Aria with a small smile and led the way down the small path to the reserved area in the parking lot.

Lilith pressed herself back against Aria as she lit up one of her menthols. While the mix of cigarettes tasted a bit weird at first, the mint sting from the menthols overtook the taste of the Marlboro. By the time she was done, some of the cold had shaken off her, and the crisp wind didn't bother her as much as it did moments ago. Although, she did have to give credit to Aria for kissing her.

"Don't worry, I can understand how you feel." Lilith's exes were mostly with her for the sex or just because she was able to give them their fixes- as long as it wasn't too expensive or if it was meth. Lilith did not do that at all. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." She said with a quick smile. She knew how hard it was talking about the past to some people, Lilith included.

Thinking back, the whole thing must have been hard on Aria. She had been so shy and timid at first and yet she had been the one to kiss Lilith. And right after she had told her about her job too! Lilith glanced over at Aria with a small hopeful smile and rested her head on her shoulder. This was, for a fact, the nicest date she had been on in years.

"Hey, are we going to call a ride? I didn't bring my car." Lilith said after a while. Lilith herself didn't live too far from the park, but she didn't know if Aria's place was far. She deffenetly didn't want to walk for more than ten minutes. Damn her and her commitment to look nice. Lilith should have brought a pair of comfortable sneakers or sandals. Her feet were killing her and the chilly air only did so much to numb her aching feet. "We can get an Uber or something to your place," She wasn't sure if Aria had driven here either.

"I still can't believe you were actually invited," Elias, Crowned Prince of Luxembourg, said to his younger brother, Prince Christian Henri. Elias was two years, five months, and ten days older than Christian- or Henri as he has requested to be called now. The Crowned Prince had what he called a complicated relationship with his younger brother. While Elias took pride and honor to be the eldest son, the heir, and the favorite, he was stilling missing something that only his younger brother had; the ability to be something else than just another royal in the world. Elias dealt trades, took parts in public hearings, diplomatic talks, and all sorts of political events while Henri was off doing whatever he pleased while the future king attended to his duties. No matter what he did, Henri always seemed unfazed and indifferent to every situation.

That was, of course, until the betrothal of Henri's dear friend, Raiden, was announced. Elias had been there when it had been broadcast on the television. He had been there to see Henri's usual distant eyes focus and narrow of the news reporter from Xi'n deliver the great news of their Crowned Prince. It was a truly delightful sight, really! Those scrawny fingers ball up, and those empty eyes glare daggers into the television as if he could just turn it off by looking at it. Elias had had his suspicions about his younger brother for a while now, but now he was sure about it.

"Do you think Prince Raiden will be there? I do love talking to the man. He is skilled in the piano, much like I am." Elias continued after a second- pale eyes staring at Henri's unmoving figure. They sat next to each other in a Rolls Royce that had been provided by them. Their driver, a woman with bright colored hair and gentle eyes, glanced back just briefly. Elias noticed this and shot the woman a glare before turning to his younger brother. "I wonder if he plays for her, Princess Beatrice I mean. I do hope. Must be wonderful to be betrothed to someone so beautiful." Elias pulled out his phone from the inside of striking white his blazer. After a second, he pulled up a photo of the newly betrothed pair and leaned over to put it in front of Henri's unfazed face. "They make a nice couple, they'll have the most beautiful children. I can see it now. Raiden is a lucky guy, I tell you."

"Yes, lucky." Henri's first words in a while brought a sly smile to his older brother's face. The younger brother had been sitting still for almost thirty minutes as their car made their way to the grand Aciran castle, where the Welcoming Ball would be held for the evening. Aciras was warmer that Luxembourg during this time of the year, which had prompted the younger prince to wear fewer layers than he was accustomed to. It also meant there was nowhere to shove his hands and claw at his palms as he listened to the words of the Crowned Prince of Luxembourg.

"I do hope we get to see the lovely couple tonight. We should congratulate them on their engagement. They'll probably say the same thing about your own lovely engagement with Princess Fareeha." Elias had put his phone away with a small laugh. Ah yes, the engagement Elias had forced on Henri. It had happened just weeks after Raiden's. Elias had somehow convinced their parents that it would be good for the younger prince of Luxembourg to wed a Crowned Princess thousand of miles away. Henri knew that Elias was the most compatible with the marriage with the foreign princess, but somehow, he had managed to convince their father that Henri should be the one to marry her.

"I doubt we will see them, Prince Raiden and Princess Beatrice will have enough on their hands planning their wedding to pay attention to us. We are but a small kingdom, brother. Xi'n and Königreich der Welten are much too important for a Crowned Prince of a kingdom who is only known for its landscapes and art." Henri didn't have to look at Elias to see his older brother's spiteful glare. Elias prided himself too much on being a prince but never worked to further his own kingdom. He simply lived to be the same as all of the kings before him, much like every other king would after Elias was gone. Pride. Ego. Henri knew his brother too well.

For the remainder of the ride, Elias stayed quiet.

It left Henri alone with his thoughts while the busy streets of the Aciran capital. Outside, he could see the oranges, purples, and blues of the sky tinted by the dark window that separated him from the outside world. Aciras was a lively country with well-rounded connections, resources, and an economy to boom. Unlike Luxembourg, it was a growing kingdom ruled by growing royals that sought for the future and not longed for the past. There was no stopping it. Luxembourg was a small country with minimal connections to other kingdoms. Henri's marriage to Princess Fareeha had not only been a move by Elias to torture him further but to secure a powerful ally. The only question was, why had Elias not been the one to be married to the Princess of Mamlakat Asslahra?

It didn't matter now. Henri was only going forward with this farce until Raiden knew what he had felt. The second his betrothal to Fareeha had been made public; his phone had rung, and Raiden's face had popped up. Henri hadn't spoken to Raiden since his own betrothal had been made public. The man had ignored Henri's calls and texts up until Henri was set to marry a woman he had only met during diplomatic talks. The whole situation had been ridiculous. Both men had handled everything like children, but it was far too gone now.

Henri loved Raiden, he truly did. Loved him through the lies and the half-truths he had given him. Henri knew that Raiden had only meant well and was only trying to find a way out before it had been announced, at least that is what Henri had convinced himself of. Both of them ended up hurt: not just them, but their friends too- those who knew about them. Leo had been furious at Raiden from the start, which only fueled Ryn to lash back at her with the same anger. Unlike Leo, Ryn knew something. Henri could feel it and hear it in her voice- yet she never mentioned or explained anything to him.

It was like he was in the dark, and the celebrations of Princess Vivian of Aciras just seemed like the culmination of what these past weeks were to be leading up. He truly wished to avoid Raiden or his betrothed during tonight's welcoming ball, and that would near impossible. It was easy to spot the Crowned Prince of Xi'n through the seas of people anywhere. Just thinking about bumping into the man made Henri's heart skip a beat and his head spin. It was horrible. Henri did hope to at least settle things between them and come to a closure. It almost sounded like Henri just wanted to move on with his life and finally accept that he'd forever be his family's puppet. Just be a grown man and come to terms with his situation as Raiden had.

Acting like a grown man was something his older brother did not know the concept of as Elias practically glued his face against the window of the car as they rolled up the entrance of the grand Aciras Castle. The castle towers loomed over Henri, and suddenly he was five all over again staring up at the towers of his own home. Henri felt lost and out of place. There was no wind, but he could see the trees around the entrance to the castle rustle and dance in silence.

Everything came back, snapping into place around him as the door was opened for the two Princes of Luxembourg. The warm hair slapped Henri's face with the reality of his current situation. Elias was the first one out of the car. It looked like Henri's snarky comment had been forgotten inside the vehicle, and now he stood up tall and proud with his chin high up. Unlike Henri, Elias was a man of luxury and expensive tastes. He basketed in the attention of others, be it good or bad. Elias had been dressed by one of France's top designers that Henri hadn't bothered to remember. The white blazer trimmed with gold and royal blue looked good on Elias, he looked like he belonged in the scene of the Aciras Welcome Ball.

On the other hand, Henri had chosen to keep his outfit on the download to attract less attention. A dark gray suit with a black vest, and a pop of red in his tie and handkerchief. While Henri had no intention of bringing attention to himself, he wouldn't dress down because of it.

After the formalities of tedious royal protocols, their brief introduction, and a warmed welcome, the two brothers were finally allowed into the ballroom. Beautiful and intricate decorations greeted them. It was apparent the Aciran court had taken their time to make everything look perfect and in order- something that Henri could easily appreciate. Although he did marvel at the beauty of the ballroom, his eyes scanned his vicinity for any signs of a tall man with long black hair and neatly groomed beard. When there were no signs of Raiden, or his betrothed, Henri's shoulders fell just the slightest in relief and what felt disappointment.

"What? Your friend isn't here yet, is he? He's probably going to get here with his fiancee." Elias turned his head towards the smaller brother and looked him over. "I'll leave you alone now; everyone knows how fun you are in these events." With a roll of his eyes, Elias left Henri standing awkwardly near the entrance of the ballroom.

Henri watched his older brother make his way to one of the servants holding a tray of champagne glasses before looking back at the marvelous room he had been left alone to wonder. "I just got here, and I already need a smoke." Henri made his way around the ballroom looking for a place to get away for a second, but only ended up spotting the princes from Austerund and a few others he wasn't very friendly with. All Henri could do now was stand in a corner with a full glass of champagne in one hand, the other on his phone and hoped that no one would come up to him for the rest of the night.
