Cartoon Network Roleplay: Concept Thread & Planning

1). Multiverse or Single Universe?

2). Sandbox or no?
I don't really care about it being sandbox or not.

3). OCs?
Nope.

4). What qualifies as a Cartoon Network show?
I guess whatever shows air on Cartoon Network. Seriously, as long as the show isn't filling kids' minds with stupid shit then it's a Cartoon Network. After all, most of the audience are kids rather than adults. I guess we could add onto Raddum's list and see if these are good or bad shows.

5). How will comedic characters fit?
For me, I say that it depends on the user playing those kinds of characters. If they know how to make comedic original characters and do it well, then they are perfect for those kinds of characters. If they aren't, then they shouldn't do those characters and trying someone else out. Since I am not planning on doing a comedic character (and I am not good at comedy), I don't really have answer to that question.

You know what, I was on the fence until I read @Bounce's post. I am interested in mixing some elements of Kingdom Hearts with Cartoon Network. As for shows, you guys already mentioned the shows that I mostly watch besides We Bare Bears. And sandboxes can be fine if it's done correctly and only in a small group.

While Rol'Naaris was still on his omni-tool, another krogan soon joined the group. If he had got here earlier, then he could of witnessed the geth being shot by Vella, the asari that started the mess. That was when the group was still chatting with each other while Rol'Naaris still played around with his device. And then he heard another voice started to question the entire group and shouting insults towards the krogan and batarian. Rol'Naaris immediately turned off the omni-tool and looked at the person before he was joined with another turian. He knew that something was going on.

That was when the truth was revealed and proving his theory right. They were Spectres and they have been watching the group for awhile—even during the explosion and the fighting. He stood up and walked towards the group as the human was giving some sort of speech, which was decent enough to Rol'Naaris' standards. Both Anderson and Partinax were better fit to be leaders than anyone within the group, especially Rol'Naaris. He then listened to the offer; join to keep the galaxy safe while earning almost nothing and you might die or leave and forget that you never came here. Simple enough. Almost everyone from the group stepped up and accepted the offer. He listened as members of the group introduced themselves and accepted the Spectres' offer.

When the other krogan was done, Rol'Naaris soon walked towards Anderson and Partinax to accept their offer. "I have no regrets for my actions during the Battle of Roannch and the Battle of Earth. I have sent people to their deaths and helped our people retake Roannch, our homeworld. I did it for a better tomorrow, not because of credits or the glory. As long as I come out of this alive, I don’t care if you pay me or not."

"If you don't know already, my name is Rol’Naaris vas Vaepal; a decent strategist and a useful sniper during the heat of battle." he delightfully said as he walked towards the group, awaiting for their first mission as a team.

Well, this day was an interesting one for Rol'Naaris and everyone else inside the tunnel. The turian spoke up and suggested that they move to a different location. Ja'Far Balak, the batarian, soon reveled his name and the fact that he was a former soldier of the Hegemony and religious as well. That was when the human introduced himself to the group as Ellis Taevon, former Cerberus member. It caught Rol'Naaris off guard when he mentioned that he had worked with Cerberus. Then he apologized for his 'paranoia' and gave a finger gun gesture, trying to make up. The quarian didn't say anything as he instead crossed his arms and shook his head around.

As soon as Ellis was finished talking, the quarian nodded and responded, "It's fine. Just remember to not aim your weapons at anyone else."

The krogan then told his thoughts about Rol'Naaris' theory on who set off that explosion. He gave the quarian some advice as well before he started to talk to the turian. The advice was some what helpful but he disagreed with the part about assumptions. Then, the geth introduced itself as Phalanx towards the group and made his way towards the turian. It has been some what peaceful before an asari opened fire on the geth, becoming more crazy than Ellis. The human came to the Geth's aid by getting in the way of the bullets. Rol'Naaris did not care about the condition of Phalanx and Ellis and watched as the krogan tackled the asari to the ground.

Rol'Naaris soon added the asari to the list of people that he does not trust at all and walked away from everyone else. He headed back to the seats and sat down, hoping that things are now peaceful. The omni-tool soon lift up as Rol'Naaris went back on it to read something that he downloaded onto the device. It was just a simple message for his parents back at the Taazzor. They responded back to his letter days ago, where he talked about the reconstruction efforts at Earth. In the short message, they told him that the Taazzor was finally repaired with enough spare parts. And how much they wished that Rol'Naaris would visit them and then said their goodbyes.

"It was good to hear them again." he thought before closing the message and resuming playing around with his omni-tool.

I agree with the others. Let's cool off and relax until the GMs have posted. I'd suggest that we all sit in a big circle and talk about our feelings.

Alright, I have removed any mentions of Spectre agents in my post (I hope).

Since so many people have mentioned my character saying about Spectres, I will keep it in.
