In the week since the storm, Garrett hasn't explored his newfound ability of shapeshifting and he doesn't transform into animals or object. Instead, he can transform into other people of both sexes. Based on his experiments, he found out that he can change his entire appearance to match someone else in the matter of seconds. His powers can also make him look and sound like an exact duplicate of people, including their height, weight, and built. If he has more control of his power, he could perform partial morphing, such as only duplicate a person's voice or fingerprints. However, his new powers have limits.

The ability to shapeshift has a cost, which is that Garrett's appearance is changing permanently. His skin, for example, is becoming reptilian and changing into a sky blue. While his eyes are changing colors into red-orange. Besides all of those issues, he can maintain the form of a person in terms of height, and build indefinitely. The longer that he maintains the form, the greater the strain he feels. Soon enough, his eyes and skin will begin to change back to normal. And he cannot assume the person's skills, personality, and powers (if they have any).
