Everyone looked at the woman with the mask and kept their distance except for Miguel. He approached her and took the bag of fruit snacks. While the others stared confusingly, he did his best to avoid them and quietly ate the snack. She pulled out another bag and offered it to the group again. But, Lonnie wasn't in the mood and finally gained enough strength to stand up. He went over and knocked the bag out of her hand.

"I don't want anything other than answers!"

"I understand." The woman picked up the box and dropped it beside her. Then, she grabbed her mask and took it off, revealing herself to them. "My name is Drew Fisher. I was the one that brought you all to Angel's Hand and used Q-Juice."

"Q-Juice?"

"The nickname that STAR Labs came up with while studying the gas. I'm not going to bore you with the science. The primary purpose was to give the person affected metahuman abilities or activate them, depending if they have the metagene. And it seems to have work on one of you." Drew made her way towards Holly and frowned. "I am sorry for this. I know what you are going to. Is there anything you need?"

"There's actually one thing you can do: help me up." Holly looked up at Drew, exhausted and weak.

"Alright, then." Drew smiled and extended her hand out. Holly grabbed her arm rather violently and pulled towards her. Her world once again collapsed into oblivion, but something was different. The images were clear and somehow made sense. And then, Drew's voice appeared to explain everything.

"Growing up, my family never talked about Uncle Mitchell. I didn't even know about him until I was fourteen. They told me that I wasn't allowed to speak to my uncle because he wasn't family anymore. But, I did anyway. He was so excited to spend time with me when he wasn't busy with "work." I knew that it was hard on him. Then, he just snapped one day."

"I wasn't there, but I think the stress of work finally broke him. I was waiting to surprise him when my parents came instead. Suicide by cop, they said. Mitchell was attacking customers with condiments when the police arrived and..." The image of an older man lying in a pool of blood appeared while Drew took a moment to sigh. "Well, I wasn't surprised to learn that one of the officer's body camera contradicted the official story. Instead of receiving proper help, my uncle was murdered, and his murders got away. So, I leaked the footage for everyone to see."

Another image appeared of Drew leaving her childhood home. "But nothing happened. An investigation found the officers innocent, and people eventually forgot. I had lost hope until Channel M found me, and I knew what needed to be done. I may have never got justice, but I will make sure others will with my skills."

Both Holly and Drew reawoke to the real world, completely shaken by what they experienced. Drew wasn't, for some reason, angry nor troubled by whatever mindfuckery it was. Instead, she turned to Holly with an emotionless stare, "Now, do you understand?"

"Yeah, I do." Holly answered sincerely. If anything, she related to Drew's struggle with her own ever since police officers killed her father. It didn't mean she forgave Drew for giving her whatever power she had. But Holly felt sympathy for her. "But, it still doesn't explain why you dragged us into your situation."

Drew remained silent for a moment and went to speak, but someone else came running towards her. They also had a mask on, similar to the one Drew was wearing earlier and appeared to be whispering something. Her eyes widen before whispering something back. Then, she looked back at the group and sighed. "Listen, I know that you shouldn't trust me, but I need help. The authorities took one of my friends away and-."

"If you are asking me to do something incredibly illegal, then you have to find someone else." Roshanna interrupted as Miguel looked down to the ground while finishing the fruit snacks. "I am not harming police officers."

"They aren't like your average police officers. They are rooted in corruption that goes all the way to the commissioner. I am afraid that they will kill my friend if you guys don't save her."

"Then, why not ask one of the masked individuals to do it instead?" Lonnie asked.

"Because her, my friend, and I are the only ones left." Drew responded and then sighed. "Listen, I don't have time to explain. Just help my friend out, and then you are free to leave. Please."

Everyone remained silent and tried to look away from Drew expect for Holly. She approached her and said, "Alright, where is she?"

"Wait, you aren't serious?" Lonnie raised one of his eyebrows.

"I am."

Lonnie tried to stay still but then groaned audibly and went to stand next to Holly. "I can't let you get killed, especially if there are dirty cops involved."

Miguel knew that he had to go with them as soon as Lonnie joined. He awkwardly made his way towards them and then looked at Drew. "You can also count on me."

Now, everyone was looking at Roshanna, who remained opposed. She was feeling the pressure. "Even if we get to your friend, how do we fight them? Besides Holly, we don't have powers."

"Yet." Drew quickly corrected Roshanna. "Your powers will eventually come... or they won't. The odds are fifty-fifty, but regardless you all will need masks to protect your identifies."

Roshanna was still thinking of her next move while everyone else agreed to help. She had never harmed a person before. But if she got powers and wasn't able to help... So, she decided to go with them and then see what happens afterward. And with that, everyone was following Drew while she was digging around for some masks. She was feeling somewhat hopeful for the first time in a while.

XŌCHIPILLI
SEATTLE UNIVERSITY, SEATTLE
THE FLOWER PRINCE

To say that Xōchipilli was concerned about The Conclave was an understatement. He really was worried about it since he avoided thinking about the lost Colossus. It was also an inconvenience for Luka Vélez, who was supposed to be planning out for another busy weekend at Topan. Hell, he had to lie to his workers about going to a sudden appointment. Thankfully, they didn't suspect anything, and he made his way to the university. It was, for some reason, the place that The Morrigan picked out to hold the Conclave. Although he did wonder how she managed to get a conference room for a dozen people.

Xōchipilli made his way to the conference room and saw The Morrigan looking around. He waved and smiled at her, "Hey, there. It's been a while since we last saw each other, Morrigan."

He examined the room and chuckled. "I would ask how Professor Byrne managed to secure this room, but I doubt she's available at this moment. Right?"

"Well, I understand since The Conclave is about to start and we have to be ourselves during it. I will just sit here and wait until the others eventually get here." Xōchipilli took a seat on the uncomfortable plastic chairs and pulled out his phone to keep himself busy. He thought of checking on his siblings but knew for a fact that they were coming—sooner or later—and settled on playing a cheap mobile game instead.

𝖯𝗋𝖾𝗆𝗂𝗌𝖾
This story will follow the friends and family of Andy Rutledge, a young man that was tragically killed. Seventeen years passed, and he returned to life with no memory of the accident. His return should be scientifically impossible, but it happened without explanation. Now it's up to his family and friends to find out how Andy came back from the dead as their world is forever changed—for better or worse.

It will be an overarching story that focuses on Andy as his family and friends solve the greatest mystery in history. Of course, it will also focus on answering the ultimate question: What if someone you lost returned? As for the size, I don't want to have more than five/eight players. I just don't feel comfort GMing more than that. Of course, if you have any questions, ask away!

Agent Nathan Bates

Male // 30 // Firefly

BRIEF SYNOPSIS
Nathan Bates (Call sign: Firefly) grew up in sunny South New Jersey in the heart of Camden with a crowded family. Forth child and third son of the family. Bates joined the military once he graduated from high school and spent two tours in the Middle East. Because of his leadership capabilities and checking all boxes within the set of criteria for Directive 51, the sergeant was trained at an undisclosed location and then allowed to live a normal life.

That was until the signal was activated.

Without any reason, Bates gathered his things and left his loved ones without reason (as instructed), heading out as an agent of The Division. Command appointed Nathan as leader of Wolverines, one of the dozens of squads being used for Operation Osiris.

BRIEF PSYCHE
Firefly had a reputation for playing loose with accepted strategy for military command. In several simulations, he gave up valuable fortifications and strategic locations to enemy forces. And when they were tried and weakened, Firefly attacked and won with few casualties than predicated. Cost him several promotions as a result before enrolling in Directive 51. That reputation meant that he had a problem with his emotions. Note that Firefly might disregard suggestions or advice for ISAC along with orders from Command.

Yet, Firefly is determined to the objective and willing to sacrifice everything to complete it. He's somewhat optimistic, even during these tough times.

Background
Razref remembered the first months of the Empire's rule over Lothal as being prosperous for them. Every Lothalites that weren't valuable were discarded and left to survive. Razref was one of them that the Empire forced into Tarkintown, one of many refugee settlements across the planet. Instead of admitting defeat, he became the settlement's unofficial leader and began several trade agreements with the other nearby settlements. Eventually, he got the attention of the Spectre cell (Lothal's only hope of defeating the Empire) and befriended its members. Razref provided assistance
and aid whenever possible in exchange for goods from the settlement.

But, it was a big risk of getting caught by the Empire. And that's what happened.

Without warning, the Empire raided the settlement and started massacring the locals. Luckily for Razref, the Spectre cell arrived in time to save the remaining survivors from death. That was how he unofficially joined the Rebellion. Eventually, Spectre joined up with the Phoenix Cell with Razref rising rank within the cell's command. It seemed like he found some form of peace until the Siege of Atollon, which was the nail in the coffin for Phoenix Cell. Razref joined the Massassi Group shortly after and achieved the rank of General.

Once the second Death Star was destroyed, Razref was ready to end the Empire for good. Instead, politics ended up in the way. Because of his time spent in the Lothal campaign, the general was well-known and respected within the New Republic.

Personality
Razref spent several recent years of his life struggling to survive one battle after another, almost getting killed a few times. As a result, he became paranoia to the point that rest often becomes a challenge to achieve. But with help and counsel (along with work keeping him busy), he was able to reduce it dramatically. Other than that, he truly cared for everyone and everybody that has a good cause. He especially treated soldiers under his rank with respect and care.

Name
Kaijosh Frakjess

Race
Human

Faction
New Republic

Character Alignment
Neutral Good

Background
Kaijosh Frakjess knew how life was before the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. Being born four years before the start of the Clone Wars, Corellia never saw the brutal fighting between droids and clones since it was inside Republic territory. His father was an author and wrote many historical books about the politics and battles of past wars. His mother died after giving birth to Frakjess due to the amount of blood lost. At a young age, Frakjess was interested in becoming a writer like his father. His father allowed him to watch him write anytime that he felt like to watch.

When the Great Jedi Purge began, and the Republic became the Galactic Empire, his father was one of the first that spoke against Palpatine. The Empire spied on him for several months until they decided to arrest him for working against the newly established Empire. Frakjess, on the other hand, was busy studying to become a writer while his father was arrested. He was also spied on for a year until the Empire moved on with other cases. After the spying ended, he became tired of the Empire's presence in Corellia. However, he couldn't do anything about it besides writing about his thoughts.

Under an anonymous name, he began to publish his written works on the HoloNet. People thought that he was a part of the Corellian Resistance movement; however, Frakjess never originally planned on joining the movement. Once the Declaration of Rebellion was released to the entire galaxy, Frakjess decided to join the Rebel Alliance after reading the crimes against Emperor Palpatine. That was also when he became interested in politics and wanted to make a difference from his homeworld.

After the destruction of the first Death Star, the people of Corellia tired to stage an uprising against the Empire. It was crushed. During the year, Frakjess was nearly killed by a bounty hunter hired by the Empire after he published his famous work about the Emperor. Fearing for his life, Frakjess was taught how to use a blaster and the different types of combat moves with help from the Corellian rebel cell. Once news reached Corellia that the second Death and both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine were destroyed, the rebel cell decided that it was time to rise up against the Empire now.

A couple of hours after the Battle of Yavin, the citizens in the major cities rebelled against the Empire. Frakjess joined in the fighting and then became its governor. However, when the Provisional Senate was formed, he resigned for the position and sworn to the Senate. He joined the other Senators on Yavin 4, where his work began.

Personality
Being a politician had helped Frakjess prove that he was more than able to assist the Rebel Alliance during its fight with the Galactic Empire. Thanks to his charismatic leadership, he was able to fight the Empire head-on at his homeworld of Corellia. With additional connections in the black markets for off-world and members of the former Senate (before the Empire shut it down), he had the technologic advantage over the Empire. And unlike many politicians, he got his hand dirty and joined in the Rebellion. Killing stormtroopers with a lot of fun for Frakjess, but it also made him into a good shooter. He wasn't a great public speaker but his written works had been successful among the Rebels. It made him focused on improving his writing skills to make more books and articles.

Character Class
Bureaucrat

Items
DH-17 blaster pistol

Supporting Characters
Razref Treselang - General that openly supports Frakjess' position on the war
TBD
