Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

@Caits roleplayerguild.com/posts/2853703 that's the post that the search turned up. It's the first in a short argument between the two guild masters.

I don't see a problem with what was said. Simply trying to defuse a bomb.
<Snipped quote by Caits>

It's been a few months, but it was immediately after Damian's and Hyun's match.

I don't recall that.
What the hell did master Jamie say to anyone from frenzy plant?
I'll post in the morning
Hmmm

If kat doesn't reply soon I'll decide
Nies pulled the car to a stop as there was a response, reading the message, she sat back, wondering how someone could come into your life, and not know a single thing about you despite how they changed you. She sat for a few moments, pondering her options. She could do what she had always done, and just let it go. Or she could do what she wanted to do, and that was change the world. Right in that moment, she knew she could do it.

After all, if even Eris didn't understand her, or had misjudged her, then no one would truly know what Cassandra was capable off, until she showed them. She drew in a deep breath, and carefully composed a response to Eris.

"There is more then one path to the same destination, Eris, and sometimes those paths cross. Ours has, but perhaps it is that our paths divide once more.

You do not see risks to yourself, but rather those around you. Perhaps that is why you can't see that I am not as pure as you might think. Perhaps that is why you believe I am not cut out for this, but even before I met you, I was planning on undermining this game.

Perhaps I have lost that, in my need to ensure you don't kill yourself. Or becoming coding and a vegetable. You think I will judge you for what was necessary to do, but I knew going into this that you are dangerous, and that didn't stop me.

All my life, I've been overshadowed by my siblings, by others. Moving into a dorm, I thought I finally saw the light that had been deprived me, and then you cast your shadow over me, and I didn't look away, didn't look back to that brief light. Perhaps though, it is my shadow blinding you to me.

I haven't run yet, why do you expect that I will? Have I backed down from anything, yet? What makes you think that I am not cut out for this? Is it perhaps that you have a fear you aren't truly cut out for it?

Its my time to shine, and I am not going to let that go, not because you think I will destroy my life. Perhaps the truth is you are still misunderstanding me, and that I have understood you since the beginning.

I will meet you, still. Because even though you think I am not suited for this, does not mean that I will let you risk yourself alone."

Reading the message, and rather pleased with it, Nies sent it, taking another deep breath, she started the car up again, and continued to drive. While she was alert for trouble, Nies couldn't help but admire her surroundings, and found herself content in what was happening.

She wouldn't be underestimated again.
'Fascinating...'

As the word, faint as it was from traveling through the building to Cody's hearing, reached Cody, his eyes snapped open. Their light blue glowed with an inner light, piercing the darkness that was all Cody generally saw, revealing colours within the light that signified shapes and figures.

Despite the dark circles, and the weakness of his movements, Cody rose. He seemed a man possessed, as he looked about, eyes drawn the to cameras. He blinked, and the lights that remained flickered. He blinked again, and the camera's watching him flickered, as if their power source was failing.

'Gerswhin...'

Voice raw, Cody listened for the sounds of Gerswhin breathing, to know if she was even alive. He laid a hand on the door containing him, amused that such a thing could even be a mild hindrance to him now. When he moved his hand to the hinges holding the door in place, there was what appeared to be a scorch mark in the shape of his hand left behind.

He hesitated over the hinge, wondering if this was the smartest thing he could do. The need to know if Gerswhin was alright was strong, but what would be the point if he got locked away. He blinked, and the lights flickered, darkness descending. Better to keep them wondering just what they had unleashed with their chemicals. Instead, Cody laid a hand on the wall, where he thought Gerswhin was.

And he began to sing.

'I told myself
That I was wise
That I was strong
But Realized
That I was much closer to wrong
Do you believe in a future you can change
Imagine everybody living for today
Don't lose hope
Even though you can't see it I know
Things are getting better
Don't let go
We are here with you, you know
Everyone needs time
So don't lose hope
You tell yourself
That you are weak
That you are so ugly
And you cry yourself to sleep each night
You're incomplete
But do you believe in a future you can change...'

As he sung, the lights flickered on, slowly at first, before shining brightly and it seemed that the lights that remained would shatter like their predecessors. And yet they didn't, Cody and his song seemed to regulate them. His voice, raw as it was, nevertheless was heartbreaking and as it trailed off, it seemed to linger.

Agent Caits fully expected to be reprimanded for her behavior. She kept herself composed, knowing that if she played it right, she could easily turn this situation in her favor. She already had once before. In her office, she hurriedly put together a report, stating facts and issues that would occur in retrieving more subjects so close to having gathered Cody and Gerswhin, and the deaths of such promising subjects would be a disaster to their operations.

It also helped that Agent Caits had heard that Cody's family were wanting answers, despite the story given to them. And the fact that dog's blood had been found in his apartment, indicated foul play. She could use that to strengthen her belief that destroying the subjects so soon would cause them problems, and that was the reason for her behavior. She also stated that the new Doctor's behavior was worrying due to this, and perhaps the doctor should be investigated, perhaps the doctor wanted the operation to fail.
More tests?

I've tried to start a post so many times. I started a really awesome one.

And just as I was about to copy it so I wouldn't lose it.

My computer turned itself off.

So I'll try and post shortly
