Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Sasha

Sasha rounded up the dog, which was harder then it seemed. The dog weighed probably half of what she did, even being a little thinner then it should be. So she found a rope, tying it loosly around the dog's middle, and grabbed her change of clothes and a towel, she guided it towards the gym. She striped to her underwear, looping the rope around the shower head, she turned it on warm, first giving the dog a good rinse, she found some liquid soap, and spent the next who knew how long washing the dog. It seemed it took a while for the water to turn from brown, and murky to clear. The dog didn't make it easy, either, licking her face, and wriggling happily.

The dog had a brillant black coat, shiny once it was clean, and she found no bites, no injuries. The dog was probably healthier then they were. She checked his claws, checked his teeth, and around his eyes, but the damn thing didn't even look to have fleas. Had it been owned by someone? Well, she wasn't worried about the dog harming any of them, or turning into a zombie dog. Were animals affected by the virus? She didn't really know.

Once the dog was cleaned, she let him shake, to dry himself, and dried, before changing into her clean clothes, pulling her hair back, before grabbing the make-shift leesh, and starting back to her room. The commotion Violet was making wasn't alarming, instead it just sounded...normal. She smiled to herself, turning into Hers and Matts room, the dog still in tow.

The next day, she still didn't know what to do witht the dog, but rather then allow it to get up to mischief, namely causing Grace to laugh happily, Sasha took the dog with her to go hunting for the cafeteria like she had planned to the day before. She got hopelessly lost, her old school had had a simple design, this one didn't. She weilded her knife, just in case there were walkers in the school, although by now surely they would have been attracted to their scent.

Finally, she found the cafeteria, frowning as she found the doors already wide open, their lock busted. She glanced inside, hearing movement, her heart stopped, but a walker didn't speak, unless you counted the horrible wheezing sounds they made.

It didn't take her long to find out that it was Jacklyn, Sighing to herself, Sasha braced herself for a confrontation. "Oh, look at this, the dog dragged a little kitty in!" Jacklyn cackled, cracking open a tin of peaches, clearly unafraid of Sasha, or the dog. "The food is for everyone, Jacklyn. I'm taking some back" She brushed passed the taller, heavier woman, the dog happily trotting along beside her on his make-shift leesh. There was something...something on the air...dirt...that smell of an overripe garden...herbs. It didn't take her long to find the verticle garden along the kitchen's wall, and pleasure rose over her as she went over to it. Ah, Ginger! she harvested it, thinking to make Nikki a drink from it, to help with her nausea, knowing it would be bitter, but would hopefully allow Nikki to keep more then a little bit of food down.

"Why aren't you afraid of me?" the equestion, issued in a puzzling manner, had Sasha glancing over at Jacklyn. She shrugged, looking away, trusting the dog to guard her back. "Because you aren't scary, Jacklyn. Mainly you're just selfish, vain, and, well Pathetic"

She was ready for the punch, and she crouched, smiling slightly as Jacklyn stumbled off balance, and sweeping her legs out from under her, Sasha crouched over the woman, her dagger in hand. "I maybe small, Jacklyn, but I'm not defenseless. I've gotten good at fighting these last few months. And I've seen the way you look at Grace, like she's a liability. I've seen the way you study us, trying to think of ways you can manipulate us, for your own advantage, and I'm not going to stand for it. This group is mine, and you won't take that away from me."

For a moment she was sure she saw real fear in Jacklyn's eyes, and taking a minute pleasure in that, Sasha rose. She decided to come back later, and walked quite calmly out the cafeteria, although she disliked turning her back onto a clear Sociopath, she didn't want to show weakness. Although once she was clear of the doors, she began to run down the halls, back to their living spaces.

The dog went straight towards Matt, and subsequently Grace, trying to get to the child, he eagerly bounced around Matt. Sasha smiled, and turned to Nikki, "I found Ginger. The cafeteria's kitchen has some herbs growing there. Ginger is good for nausea, and harmless to the baby. I can make a drink out of it, although it won't taste nice"
I'm sorry its shorter then normal...there was only so much thought process I could put in XD
Luna had spent the last little amount of time gathering up a first aid kit, filling it with what supplies she thought might be useful on the island, finding a bag to put it in, and then shoving her own clothes ontop of it, considering herself ready for the trip onto the island. The thought of being on land after only being on the ship one day was a little disheartening to Luna, but ont he other hand land after the storms they'd went through, Land was an attractive option.

As she watched party members being transfered to the land, she waited for her turn, deciding to go on the last ride over, studying the island from where she was, glancing about them constantly. It really was amazing, being out here. The expanse of water...the little bit of land floating in it, the ship itself...Luna let out a happy sigh. She was more then glad she had come here. Shouldering the bag, climbed into the boat, and couldn't help but laugh as they began towards the island.

It had been a long, exciting day, and Luna was, perhaps, a little loopy with it all. Or maybe she was simply...finding herself. That thought perplexed her, and kept her focused, as she sought to figure it out. She knew that this adventure would change her, how could it not, but she hadn't expected it to happen quite so soon. It was just so...freeing to be out here. She hadn't realised that she had felt trapped. father, I remember feeling like this before, on the streets. You do so well by me, I wanted to be the perfect daughter she thought to herself. Well. For better or worse, she was changing. Couldn't do anything about htat. Didn't want to do anything about it.

As they sat around the fire, Luna leaned back, basking in the glow and warmth, letting her thoughts flow, and listening to the others. Constance's rambling, self-absorbition got on her nerves, but Luna decided to merely ignore it, but as she began to berate Ed, she opened her eyes, and glared at the annoying woman, only for a moment, to look around them, having heard the sound herself. Finally, as Constance seemed intent on keeping attention on her, Luna snapped out a quite, "Maybe if you shut the hell up we can hear what it is" She said, already rising, thinking don't have a heart attack, jeez, you'd think after everything today, she wouldn't be so prissy.

Luna found, for a split second, a moment of pride though in Constance as she stepped forward, but it rapidly died at the further actions of the girl. Shaking her head, Luna stepped forward, shrugging her pack of medical supplies over one shoulder, running a hand through her hair, and starting towards the sound without another word, her stride purposeful and determined. She didn't ask if anyone was coming, she just assumed they would. After all, two women going off, leaving the guys behind? That had to surely sting a few of them into movement.

Cody

@BlackPanther

The climb wasn't strenuous, and probably didn't call for the shirt removal but Cody wasn't going to complain. Not when it was such a fine view...oh god. He was staring. He couldn't help it. It was just such an...intoxicating sight. Cody wasn't vain. Looks were nothing compared to personality...and Aron was just so sweet. So kind. But wasn't it nice...that he had a good body? Woah, boy. bring it back. Cody was sure his face was a shocking scarlet, it was so warm.

Cody knew Aron was into exercise, and it certainly showed. Yum. He stood there, watching Aron climb up the ladder, appreciating the way he moved. His muscles. Oh hell, his whole body for that matter. Cody wanted to reach out and touch him, but he restrained himself. He didn't know how.

He stepped back as Aron reached the top, swallowing nervously. He was sure he was blushing still. He was just so close...so pretty...but Cody didn't want to do anything that would freak Aron out. Cody wasn't quite as Timid as Aron. He didn't want to...push him away. Not now. Oh god, was he staring? Oh god, he was staring. He couldn't help if.

He let out a slow breath, finally managing to look away. "it is. It's one of my favorite spots. So pretty" he managed to keep his voice normal, before turning back to Aron. "let's go in, we can still see out"and please please please, keep it off despite the fact he felt flustered over it, Cody had to admit, it was a nice view indeed.

Inside, it was clear that Cody did spend a large amount of time there. There was a couple of bean bags, books spread about, crumpled up paper on a corner where he had shot it through one of those small toy basketball hoops, processes of his novel that he'd either disliked or didn't think would work, numerous pieces of paper and writing utensils neatly disorganized on the ground, and a battery powered stereo.
