Jesus.

Myra Flores sat at what was her desk in the station, head bowed over reports. She’d been awake since knowledge of a good handful of teenagers had been taken to Sky lakes. A wolf attack. Jesus. There had been sightings of wolves for weeks. Myra had collected the reports, although there was nothing quite as serious as last night's attack. Myra was normally the best, at finding a pattern, yet there was none here. Oh, there had been another attack, a few months ago, on the full moon as well. Father and son. The father died, the son had survived without, it seemed injuries.

Shit.

Myra had meant to pass that one onto Zoé, sure that it was something from her end of things, yet it had slipped her mind. She set it aside, thinking that she could follow up on that later. Werewolves. Jesus, my town is going to be overrun by werewolves.. Zoé had had years of practice with what she was, these teenagers...there was going to be trouble, Myra was sure about that. Myra had adjusted the way she worked, to compensate for the fact she was human, and some of those she went up against were...not. Her officers weren’t as wise to the supernatural world as she was, and Myra wouldn’t put their lives on the line.

It looked like she was going to have to talk with Zoé.

A voice suddenly came over her radio, a little stuttered, nervous, and excited, all at once. Myra frowned. Her officers were usually...stoic. What had caused this?

”Ma’am...I...a car...it’s out of town, yet I saw it p-pull over. I was concerned, and ran the plates…

Ma’am...it’s registered in James Burkes name. It's heading towards town”

James Burke. Myra had issued an APB on both James Burke, and her daughter, both having disappeared, it seemed at the same time. Myra reached behind her, clasping the arm of her chair, and sank down into it.

Sombra.

Of course James would come back, if he had heard that his sister had been involved in an accident. But Zoé had kept a tight lid on everything, which meant the only way James could know about Miranda, was if Miranda herself had told him...or Zoé had.

Was Sombra with James? Had she been with him, all this time?

Her little girl...Myra bowed her head. Their relationship, particularly in the few years leading up to Sombra and Alexander’s graduation, had been strained. And now it was practically non-existent. Oh, hell. It was non-existent. Myra would give just about anything to have any form of relationship with her.

The labrador pup by her feet looked up, making a little sound, jumping into her lap. It was only when there was an uncertain ”Ma’am’ that Myra moved into action. ”Follow the car, but don’t make it obvious. If it looks like you’ve been made, head back to the station like you were going there all along. Do not approach. Find out if there is anyone else in the vehicle.” She rose, cradling Arlo, as she began to move. She snatched up the file about the attack a few months ago, and walked through the station.

Perhaps the officers had heard about the sighting, or perhaps it was in her face, as she stalked towards the door. She pushed the door open, and approached her car. If Sombra was here, Myra wasn’t going to let her slip through her fingers, not again. Alro lipped happily as she set him down, wagging his tail and placing his paws on the passenger window.

She was damn well going to get her daughter back. Everything Myra had done, since she was 16 years old, had been for her children. The only thing Myra had wanted, was to give her children everything. Maybe that had pushed Sombra away. Myra wasn’t too sure, anymore. As she started the car, Myra took her phone out, and sent a message to Alexander.

Magdalena see's helping others as her purpose in life, and while she can be found engaging in such efforts, her real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need to not be "Rescued". Markus always has an immediate impact on his surroundings. The best way to spot him, anywhere really, is to look for the whirling eddy of people flitting about him as he moves from group to group. If anyone asks for a volunteer, particularly on stage or at a performance, he usually throws his hand up- or shoves his little sister into the lime light.

Jordan can be a confusing individual. She is often open and cheerful, but more often than not, she is morose and keeps to herself. However, she prefers to look at life as a canvas she can make her own. A rather aesthetic individual, she is keen on design, and her choices and actions pushes her to the limits of social convention. She enjoys upsetting traditional expectations with experiments in beauty and behaviour, her favourite expression is "Don't box me in!" and she will often rebel against any limitations placed on her. Which often leaves her at odds with her parents.

While her family might not be happy with who she is, Jordan is. She is colourful, and sensual, inspired by connections with others and ideas. She takes joy in reinterpreting these ideas, reinventing and experimenting with both herself and new perspectives. Despite this, Jordan is definitely an introvert, surprising her friends further when she steps out of the spotlight to be by herself, simply to recharge. Yet just because she is alone though doesn't mean she sits idle- she takes this time for introspection, assessing her principles and thinking who she is. Often from these retreats she returns transformed, seeing things in a different way, and finds herself utterly inspired.

Jordan likes to find ways to push her passions, riskier behaviours like gambling and extreme sports are something she enjoys doing and fortunately for her, her attunement to the moment and her environment allows her to do better than most.

She enjoys connecting with others and does have a certain irresistible charm. However, if a criticism does get through, it can end poorly. She can handle kindly phrased commentary, valuing it as another perspective to help push her passions in a new direction. However if the comments are more biting and less mature, she can lose her temper in a spectacular fashion.

Because of this, she is sensitive to others feelings and value's harmony. When faced with criticism, it can be a challenge for her to step away from the moment long enough to not get caught up in the heat of the moment. But living in the moment goes both ways and once the heightened emotions of an argument cool, she can usually call the past the past and move on as though it never occurred.

The biggest problem for Jordan is planning for the future. Finding constructive ideals to base her goals on and working out goals that create positive principles is no small task for her. She plans her actions and behaviours as contributions to a sense of identity, building a portfolio of experiences and not stocks. If these goals and principles are noble, she can act with amazing charity and selflessness, but it can also happen that she establishes a more centred identity, acting with selfishness, manipulation and egoism.

Born to the "perfect" couple, Jordan was treated well, but more like a prize, never really like a baby.
Held at arms length by both her parents, Madison grew up thinking her live in nanny was her mother, until she was old enough to understand that the cold woman who ordered her "mother" about was it.

She grew up a little rebellious, fighting her parents every step of the way as she grew up, wanting to ruin their "perfect" little world. This only grew stronger as she decided she wanted to go into design. Their daughter was not going to serve others. Lavena loves to explore the world, with her eyes and hands, examining and touching the world around her with a cool rationalism and spirited curiosity. She loves to move from project to project, building the useful and the superfluous for the fun of it, and learning from her environment as she goes. She finds no greater joy than in getting her hands dirty, pulling things apart and putting them back together, just a bit better than they were before.

She comes up with ideas through creating, troubleshooting, trial and error, and from her own first hand experience. She enjoys having other people take an interest in her projects and sometimes don't even mind them getting into her space. Of course, that's on the condition that they don't interfere with her own principles and freedom, and they have to be aware that she's going to be interested in return.

Lavena enjoys lending a hand and sharing her experience, especially with the people she cares about, and the typical "Gender" roles that society tends to expect are a poor fit for her- she was a tomboy from a very young age.

While her mechanical tendencies can make her appear simple at a glance, she is actually quite enigmatic. Friendly but very private, calm but suddenly spontaneous, extremely curious but unable to stay focused on normal studies, Lavena can be a challenge to predict, even by her friends and loved ones. She can seem very loyal and steady for a while, but she tends to build up a store of impulsive energy that explodes without warning, taking her interests in bold new directions.

Biography:

Born to parents who never wanted her, Lavena had a horrible beginning to her child her, raised as little more than a slave, Lavena new nothing but pain, and abuse from those that should have cared for her. Her existence virtually unknown, Lavena ran away when she was eight, covered in blood, with a broken arm, bruised ribs, and a fractured cheekbone, she was soon found by a Police Officer. Never given a name, the hospital staff and her social worker, named her Lavena, and gave her the care she needed.

She was adopted soon after by a couple who couldn’t have children, and who gave her the love and care that she had lacked for her childhood. They took her back home, to America, where they taught her what she needed to know. A bright child, Lavena’s first years of school were about learning what she should have already known, catching up to, and surpassing her fellow students.

Given a chance, Lavena found she had great skill with mechanics, and by the time she was 16, had invented a robot, and while it couldn’t do her homework for her, it did give her great joy. By 25, she had a good job that allowed her to follow her passion, and was traveling to a presentation, where she hoped to gain a grant that would further her robotic inventions.

Theodore is a cheery sort. If anyone is to be found spontaneously breaking into song and dance, it would be Theo. He gets caught up in the excitement of the moment and wants everyone else to feel that way too. He is generous with his time and energy, enjoying encouraging others, in an irresistible style.

When he is moved to defend those who can’t defend themselves or protect those he cares about, he is perhaps your worst enemy as he will never give up, nor make a rash mistake just because he is angry.

Born to parents that were thrilled to welcome him into the world, Theo knew every comfort of a child that was not only wanted but considered a miracle. When his sister came along, it was like completing the little family and Theo doted on her. He had a good childhood, and was taught values to respect others, and do what he could to help anyone that needed it.

Theo did well in school, and was both well liked and known throughout the school, he had a good group of friends, although he prefered to spend his time with Isaura. When he graduated, Theodore took the year off, seeking to work and save a little bit of money. Shortly after graduating, Theo's parents were killed in a car crash, leaving him to care for his little sister. He did his best to look after her.

When Isaura graduated, they began to plan a holiday to England, as a celebration, not just for their freedom from high school, but for their love.
