McDonald's

@Krayzikk@Plank Sinatra@Kafka Komedy@Write

Akira's eyes shifted from side to side as he entered the McDonald's. It didn't look like there were too many people around here, which was good. Going to school with people you've known for a year was one thing, but the last thing he wanted to do was to go outside and make a complete and utter ass out of himself in public. As was probably obvious from his choice of clothing—-running shorts and a gray sweater--he had just finished up his daily jog. Normally, he wouldn't have come here, but he had gotten really into grinding his Imagine online character and decided to stick a piece of buttered toast in his mouth and run out the door before he wasted any more time. He got a lot of weird glances for it.

Just look ahead... He mentally coached himself as he walked up to the counter, eyes inadvertently shifting downwards with each step.

"Uh, one Big Mac please."

"That'll be 340 yen."

He reached out to his pocket and pulled out the money, passing it over to the clerk, only to second guess himself and place it on the counter as the clerk was reaching out to get it himself. While the clerk, evidently, didn't give a rat's ass about it, Akira couldn't help but be hit by a wave of embarrassment. He was given a receipt with a number on it and headed down to a random booth. That booth just so happened to be in front of a table with a few interesting characters. He recognized Daisuke from all the rumors of his delinquency floating around, but the bleeding girl and her two other friends were foreign to him.

Akira hastily pulled out his smartphone to make it seem as if he wasn't totally just staring at them. He couldn't help but give a near inaudible sigh. He knew he wasn't always like this and that made getting spooked this easily all the more depressing.
@CrimmyMmm, I'm not sure, I've only caught up with the first page of IC so far. I was thinking about introducing him in one of the kendo club meetings
@CrimmyGotcha, so is he all set to be posted in the CS section, then?
No I mean like: physically and narratively how does he facilitate the use of the combination attack. Does his Persona just stand in the way or something and channel those spells into a combo?

How about...the other users aim their attacks at him. He can have a draining effect that takes the attacks and a color corresponding to the attack shows up in one of Vayu's hands as an orb like material. When he has two or more of these orbs, he can launch a fused spell. I was thinking Akira could only have access to two of the six hands when he begins and gradually open up more hands when he grows closer to the other users, mainly for balance purposes and the like. And obviously, this'd have to come with a huge drawback so I was thinking he could be a glasscannon who's weak against any physical attack to make up for this. If that still sounds way too broken, I'll just make it a basic resistance, even if that'd mean he'd have to get hurt to even use the spells.

@CrimmySame way it works in Persona 2. Two characters use specific spells (ex: Agi and Agi) and they do a combination attack that's stronger than both combined. I was thinking skill mutation could only change a person's skills into one of the opposite element. Ex: A wind user's skills could only be change to thunder etc etc. I was also thinking that these could change resistances in the same way it changes skill elements to make it more balanced

And didn't you see? I changed the picture to its namesake. It's kind of on the nose since there isn't exactly any "fan art" of Hindu gods, but I'll change it again if it's a problem.
<Snipped quote by Alder>

Putting the two together isn't a particularly strong representation of balance at all. If you want to stick with the concept of change represented by Death and keep the Avestan thing going, Vāyu ("The reason that I am called vayu (apayate, vanō.vīspå) is that I pursue (attain, conquer) both creations, both that which Spənta Mainyu created and that which Aŋra Mainyu created.") would be a far better choice in Persona. If you don't want something Iranian, Janus could be a good choice too.

Gotcha, will make the changes. Are there any problems with the skills?

@CrimmyYup! The name is more there to describe a state of balance between two concelts than anything else.
Wew, did I last minute rewrite and completely scrapped most of the character concepts I had in order to make him a bit more unique. It's a bit edgier than I'm used to writing, so I'll do another rewrite if need be. I just really wanted to make sure I didn't prolong this anymore than I already have

Oh, I have mine done already I just forgot to post it up. I'll do it when I have access to a computer.
