A comment about the IC: Things are getting kind of confusing. We have a lot of people and all of those people are not describing who they're talking to very well. I, for one, have no idea what's going on. Y'all need to describe who you're interacting with and/or pm the person who you want to interact with. Now, if I am correct, my character is currently interacting with Arianna and Annie. Please let me know if anyone else is talking to my character.

I've been roleplaying for six years, and if I do say so myself I've gotten pretty good. I've been to many roleplay sites around the internet, and for right now I'm happy calling this one home. I write fantasy, high science fiction, and poetry. I'm involved in the Nerdfighteria community as well, making the world suck a little bit less one day at a time. Though sometimes it's rough and incredibly time-consuming, roleplaying has brought me some of my closest friends, some of the most genuinely awesome people I've ever met. This train is still going, and there's no stop in sight! DFTBA.

Victor Calahan
Someone approached him. Victor turned his head towards the girl as she talked. She was certainly pretty, auburn hair, beautiful skin, and a kind smile. "I think you might be the only person on this boat who's not freezing right now," she said. Victor looked down towards the arm bashfully. Very few people these days started conversations with him without bringing up his arm first. He shrugged and rubbed his left shoulder with his right hand. A spark shot forth from his arm, danced on the wind for a few moments, and then died. He found it oddly telling.
"The drawbacks certainly outweigh the advantages," he said "but yeah, I don't really get cold anymore, what with being partially made of fire." He smirked, then paused. He was saying a lot. Oh god, he hoped he didn't scare her off by being a chatterbox! He looked back down at the ocean, and then back towards her. God, she was pretty. He tried very hard to concentrate on her face, not wanting his eyes to drift down to...other parts of her body. That happened when he was talking to a girl before, and it didn't end very well. He tried to keep a calm face up, tried not to think about being on a hunk of plastic and metal floating in the middle of salty death, tried not to think about what she could be concealing under her jacket and scarf. It was fine, he was exceptional at keeping a calm face up. He hoped she wasn't a telepath or something.
"Being partially made of fire isn't fun when you're entirely surrounded by water, however," Victor said, looking back at the churning sea below him. About now, he wanted to just jump in.
Let's keep the ball rolling. You never know when Maxx might AFK for 10 years again.
