The sound of another voice caught him off guard, and for a moment Mashuka feared Jaws had come back to finish the job. But no, the powers that be had decided to spare him, and instead there stood a rather pleasant surprise. The jovial young man at his door...not door, didn't appear to be holding any weapons, and what was better, he didn't look even remotely hostile. He supposed that would be the mark of a good assassin, but Mashuka had decided that if the damn school wanted him dead that badly, then there'd be little he could do about it anyway.

"Oh hey!" he said back, offering Jun a smile in return for his own and walking over. The old doctor had taught him that shaking hands was polite, and the proper way to introduce oneself. So, with only a bit of hesitation he offered his out, shoving the fear that the man might chop it off to the back of his mind. "Yeah, the door is uhh...I don't even know where to start explaining it. Let's just say it's nice to see a friendly face with normal teeth. I'm Mashuka, but Shuka is fine. Are you a first year too?"
Thanks for the clarification! ^^
@ReaptheMusic Sorry if I misconstrued the post, but is Jun poking his head into Mashuka's room?
Mashuka all but fell back when Donna shattered the door and kept going, but sure enough luck had been on his side, and she swung nothing but air. The few moments that had bought him had been enough, thank God, as the girl was suddenly distracted by something...someone...somewhere. He wasn't sure, and he didn't particularly care, he'd wager that quite literally anyone would be able to handle Jaws better than he could, especially if they were upper classmen.

"Uh...okay," he mumbled, offering a nervous wave as she left. "Have fun, I guess?"

When he got to his feet he saw that much of the hallway she'd rampaged through was in a poor state. The room beside him had no door, and he figured it was only fair that he get stuck with it rather than someone else with no idea what happened. Oh well, at least he didn't have much in the way of luggage to move in, the room seemed to hold pretty much everything he'd need. Bed, closet, sink, more than he'd had before, so he wasn't about to complain about having only splinters at the entrance.
Awesome, I'm gonna be afk here in a bit but I'll be free to write whenever it ends up being my turn.
I don't think so, no, nothing in my PM box about it.
\oDo/ VICTORY
Mashuka almost drew the kukri on instinct when he heard the shattering blow of the girl's kendo, regardless of how late the reaction would have been. Still, self-control won out in the end and he whirled around wide-eyed and empty-handed. The wooden blade had cleaved into and ultimately destroyed one of the doors, and still remained in tact. He just stared for a moment, first to the debris, then to her, mouth a tad agape.

"What the hell are you made of?" He barely had time to get the words in before Donna attacked again. And again. And again. This girl had wild energy and insane strength, perhaps standing toe-to-toe to her was a bad idea. He needed time to think of something, an advantage of some kind or at the very least a decent escape, not that either were particularly likely.

And so he ran, and she seemed content to follow, swinging madly with that terrifying grin on her face. If these were the sort of people in charge of dorm introductions, Mashuka didn't even want to think about what the teachers would be like. If Donna had her way however, he might not get to find out anyway.

With a swipe clipping his shirt, he had to maneuver a bit more while running. This he was good at, mobility, stamina, he had those, the only question was if Donna burned fuel quicker than he did. Another shattering sound, from the kendo and he nearly yelped in surprise.

"You-" he ducked. "Are- he dodged. "Bloody-" all at once Mashuka spun around, grabbed hold of one of the doors, and threw it open at Donna's face, making a barrier, albeit a surely temporary one, between them. "Nuts!"

Mashuka prepared for the door to be eviscerated, and the moment she tore it to pieces he'd attempt to strike the kendo stick from her hand. Bold? Sure. Wise? Eh. Did he have many other options? Not really.
Mashuka's stance dropped pretty quickly when it became evident the girl wasn't going to initiate. A little taunting, but nothing too bad, though she did flash a set of fairly frightening chompers. Yikes, what did a person have to go through to wind up like that, he wondered. He'd seen teeth ripped out, broken and swallowed, but never quite sharpened.

Still, for the moment it seemed like it was a stalemate, but that would change soon enough he was sure. He approached, hands held chest-high in some form of mock surrender, and eyed the hallway behind the girl. He tried to smile again, still with a nervous twinge, but nonetheless tried to sound friendly. Opponent or not, the girl was a classmate and doubtlessly a superior, so a good deal of respect was in order.

"Well as far as I can tell you're the one who wants to fight," he said. "So I'll tell you what, I'm gonna go on to the dorms, and if you feel the urge to hit me or...bite me or whatever it is you're inclined to do, you feel free to do it and we can scrap from there. How's that sound, Jaws?"

Well alright, perhaps a little less than a great deal. Still he moved to pass by, keeping his front to her and his muscles on a twitchy trigger.
Not ashamed to say I might have been listening to Crazy Loop earlier. I already like this guy's taste in music.
