Firstlythanksfortheacceptance and I can have the CS up by this evening!

And second, I'd be good with either, safely casting my vote on the middle of the fence <D
Hi! If this is still accepting people I'd love to join in, always down for a well done mecha RP!
Whatever soreness Shill still had from their near wash-out faded when she saw the newcomers. In fact not only did it fade, but it was entirely replaced by fascination. With starry eyes and a smile on her face she meandered forward, first looking to the dwarves with their thick beards and large axes, then to the giant tusked fellow. She was surprised to see someone bigger than their pierced companion, and while he didn't seem too keen on them, at least he wasn't outright attacking.

The one called Ironbeard appeared to be the diplomat, and Shill was thankful for it. The last thing she wanted to do was fight with these mysterious and wondrous folk, who she could only assume were natives to the world they now inhabited. What was it knights did again? Did the men curtsy, or the women. Did they all bow? She decided to go with that, and lowered her head in a sign of respect. Couldn't hurt to be courteous.

"Hello! I wish I could tell you what brought us here, but we're just as confused as you are. We woke up in here not too long ago, and we'd very much like to know where we are," she said, only to jolt a bit when she realized she had still forgotten some of her manners."I'm sorry, I should have led with the introductions. I'm Shill, it's very nice to meet you!"

She offered out a hand to shake, but held back from introducing the others. She didn't know the pierced man's name, but if he didn't want to give it before she didn't want to force it out of him now, and Filip might have very well had something else entirely to say. She figured it was best to let them do their own talking, the more questions they could get answered the better.

"Oh jeez," Shill said, rubbing her neck and looking back up at the ladder. The big man and Filip seemed to have a plan going, and she couldn't deny that having whoever was above come down to them would be the safer option. Still, every moment they spent in the cavernous oven meant they were a little bit closer to nearly dying of heatstroke again. Besides, the spin the big man put on their plan didn't sit too well with her when she thought about it. He seemed just a tad too eager to get her hands on someone from above, and while she certainly couldn't fault him for his anger --lord knew she wanted answers too-- there had to be a better, more peaceful way to go about it. Right?

"I don't...we really don't have to hurt anyone. Could be they're just as lost as we are, y'know?" she asked, eyes going from up to down, studying the cooled rocks below in an effort to avoid his eyes. Something told her they wouldn't be full of sudden compassion. "Not that we shouldn't be ready in case they're bad. But jumping the gun might...I dunno, it might just make more problems. Definitely don't need more problems now."

She glanced to Filip, wondering if he shared her stance on a peaceful attempt. Shill wouldn't be able to argue against the two of them, she supposed she'd just have to go along with it if they outnumbered her. Didn't keep the hope from sticking in the back of her mind, though.

IRL>RP, you do what you gotta do man ^^
There were advantages to being shorter than others. Sneaking around, fitting through tight spaces, being generally hard to hit with hay-makers, Shill would never say she didn't like being short. However, one distinct disadvantage became quickly apparent as the water that came rushing past reached well up past her mouth. The heat layering her whole body was extinguished in an instant, but a sudden panic took its place, furthered by that fact that she couldn't quite catch a proper breath.

She tried to scramble up the rail, hold herself a little higher just to gulp down one good lot of air, but every time she'd end up swallowing more water than anything. Nevertheless, the quickest instants where she managed to inhale through her nose sustained her through the torrent, and by that alone she managed to avoid drowning.

When at last the flow ceased, Shill all but collapsed, knees weak and shivering despite the fact that the heat had returned, if not a tad less intensely. In fact her whole body shivered, her hands shook, her teeth clattered together, and for a few moments she just stayed there. Not too far, the bigger man coughed up the water he'd evidently swallowed, but Shill had no such luck. At least it had been a cool refreshment, even if it had been an absolutely terrifying experience.

Eventually the feeling passed, and with the assistance of the slick rail she got to her feet. A quick check told her she still had Mercy at her side, and none of her gear had been whisked away, which was good enough. Her ears caught the voices the bigger man referred to, but she didn't hear anything particularly malicious in them. Sure, whoever it was had likely just flooded the area with them in it, but Shill had a feeling that if someone wanted to kill them, it wouldn't have been too hard to actually do it.

"I dunno," she said, her voice clogged and she tried to clear her throat. "Maybe they don't know we're down here. Could be a good idea to go and see who it is, might tell us where we are."

Well, he managed to tackle the assassin out of the way, but when he looked back the girl had just gone and stepped back in between another fight. Shit, maybe she hadn't needed help after all. Based on his encounters with some of the others at the school, it wouldn't surprise him if he got berated later for intervening.

Regardless, for the time being there was more to worry about. As the battle in the cafeteria raged on, Mashuka slunk beneath a few of the tables that had not been over turned. Some of the individual fights taking place looked brutal, and he knew that he wouldn't last long against most of the opponents there. Even if he could manage to distract someone long enough for one of the other students to take advantage of it, he felt deep down he'd be more useful in the long-term if he just didn't die.

Didn't seem too hard, if there was one thing Mashuka was good at, it was blending into the chaos. Amidst the sea of people fighting, preparing to fight, or declaring their ever-burning will to fight, he slunk away out of sight, traveling from table-bottom to table-bottom until he reached the exit of the cafeteria. With significantly less ruckus outside, Mashuka made a b-line back for his dorm. He didn't know where his roommates were, or if they'd even survived, but dammit he'd nearly gotten a psychotic-girl-induced concussion for that room so he wasn't about to die before getting to use it a few times. Waiting out an assault on the school from behind the bed-sheet door seemed like a good enough use to start with.
@Gnar The Missing Link Oh hey Gnar, I was thinking it might be useful to put a list of the teams and their members on the opening post. Might help with organization and what not, just a suggestion ^^
Wow, happy birthday to the first RP scuff I've ever seen on the site \o/
What John Cena? I can't see him.
