Anthony "Tony" Adams-Himura
Somewhere in Sagamiyama
Sunday - Night

Tony raised an eyebrow at the appearance of a hollow. He decided to go out to see what was actually happening, and he quickly dashed towards the hollow. He had his interest piqued by this, although this was dangerous; who knew what that hollow could do to him. Yet it doesn't seem to be actually doing anything but moonbathing, it's... weird, at least in the same tier of weird like the other types of rare hollows.

Tony arrived close to the Hollow, who was still looking at the moon. "So you're a rare one?" Tony commented, trying to get their attention. He reached for his blade and unsheathed it. The sword shone with the light of the moon, which also cast shadows around Tony and the hollow.

"Well, I shouldn't talk too much with you... You seem rather... hollow-brained." Tony grinned at his terrible joke before looking down in self-realization. He suddenly pushed his blade forward, reaching close to the hollow's chest. This didn't affect them; the hollow remained silent, looking at the moon. "Wow, you're truly hypnotized by that thing." Tony snarkily said.

For a small moment, Tony thought about lowering his zanpakuto. The hollow didn't seem to be that powerful (or even interested in him), but something in his mind pushed him to maintain his guard and the posture of his blade, a low and powerful voice which said in the inside of his skull, - he's not the same one you met, stay alert -. Tony didn't understand these thoughts that were hitting him; it was all nonsensical. He didn't know this hollow before crossing paths tonight.

Going against the voice in his head, Tony lowered his sword and took a small sight at the sky. It was mostly clear, with some clouds here and there, but the moon could be seen perfectly. "I don't understand what you see there, it's just the moon." Tony gave them a side glance at the hollow. He saw it, the eyes of someone he didn't seem to remember fully. "What are you?"

Kenzo simply nodded upon hearing Shimazu's words. But part of him felt confused, as he had expected anger from such a monster, but this also brought another question: why?

Kenzo muttered this word below the ears of everyone in the room. Walking to a corner of the store to see the whole scene, why did that creature grab Madelyne? Seeing how they faded, it seemed clear it was some magic involved, not really his cup of tea; in fact, he was mostly averse (if not ignorant) to the whole magic part of the world he lived in.

Kenzo stopped muttering the words as if he were trying to find the reason; it didn't matter for now. But at least he could try to do something now that he has stumbled upon this situation. Without too many words, he walked up behind Sarah, and he raised an eyebrow.

"What are you doing?" He slightly lifted his hand, pointing at her focused gaze on the amulet. "Don't tell me. You can sense things from that amulet? Man, I almost wish I could do that."

The chills, oh, the chills. Kenzo had been lucky that the weeping didn't try to hurt him. A drop of sweat fell around his forehead, and he was shocked upon seeing Madelyn being kidnapped by the monster.

He approached to talk Julia down. "Not really, lady. But try to calm down, it doesn't work if you're all tensed up." Kenzo attempted to calm her, but he also began to think. "What was that thing? it didn't seem like anything I've ever seen before" he asked, probably being the most confused man in the room.

"Old man... do you know what that thing was... You said that there was more than a single soul in the monster. What could that mean?" Kenzo asked Shimazu, clenching his fists, feeling a sense of dread of the whole situation.

Kenzo didn't reply to any of Taiwu's threats. It wasn't wise to try and continue the fight; too much chaos had occurred today in this little store. He might as well leave now. He shouted towards Ken, "Sorry for the chaos, Old Man.", he said, turning his foot to the exit of the store. But stopped mid-way to the exit, his skin tingling lightly at the feel of a simple breeze. "Something's Off."

Kenzo's gaze widened upon seeing the monster attacking the woman. "Shit!!", Kenzo turned completely to see the monster, which looked terrifying. Kenzo feared this might be something worse than any of the blue dragons. He fearfully adopted a fighting posture. Why would such an entity be here of all places? "W-What are you?", Kenzo's fists tightened enough to leave red marks on his palms. It's so weird. Why does he feel so scared now?

Despite seeing the middle-aged woman throw the chair and run away, Kenzo stayed in front of such monster. Standing right in the way of him and the exit where the woman and Madelyne left, Kenzo couldn't say a word, not even one. He knew that facing this was way out of his simple street league. But deep within him, something told him to aimlessly try and stop this thing; despite this being foolish, he couldn't kneel down and just let this thing out of the store. Such bravery, such foolish bravery.

As one became two, and two became four, Kenzo was forced to fight in the noodle store, "Well... I think it's time for a little heart-to-heart." Kenzo thought out loud while the blue dragon, he quickly jumped over a table to evade the blow and kicked one of the Blue Dragons in the face. Following this kick, he gave another kick to the other gang member next to him. Then, he decided to jump onto the floor and continue the fight there. All his possible plans melded into some abomination of a plan, which he followed despite the lack of logic.

A kick, then a jab, then an uppercut, then another kick, and so forth in a weird combo, this slowly caught him, as he was struck in the back by some Blue Dragons. Angered by this, Kenzo decided to get serious and activate his powers. He stepped close enough to hug him, then he got him in a wristlock. Kenzo's power allowed him to grow in power while in combat, a sort of accelerated development

"Aghh!!" Kenzo kicked him towards the counter. After this, enemy by enemy, Kenzo seemed to grow stronger and quicker; his battle spirit also seemed to burn more intensely than previously seen. He saw that there were still some Blue Dragons daring to fight with him. "Huh... Still wanting to take this regular ol' civilian right?" He gave a come here gesture before getting into an offensive position.

As Kenzo kept beating up the Blue Dragons, he gave glances at the fight between Shimazu and Taiwu. He seemed surprised by the old man but even more by the sudden appearance of his disciple. "Maybe I should ask them for some combat training; those energy blows could come in handy." Kenzo thought as he punched one gang member and sent him flying with a kick.

Once Kenzo thought he had defeated all his enemies, he turned to see what was about to occur between Xiao Feng, Taiwu, Shimazu's Girl, and the Old Man Shimazu. But thought about something while seeing Shimazu and the girl alone against this threat. He sneered.

"Hey, Old Man..." Kenzo approached Shimazu, and he lowered his shades a bit, letting his eyes be seen, and with his free hand, he pointed at the Blue Dragons with his thumb. "I know this is a bit of a weird question and that we barely met, but... can we jump them?"
Prelude to Conflict

Lucky Noodle, Little Asia
Ken Shimazu, Zhang Taiwu, Madelyne Crane, Kenzo Yamamoto, and Xiao Feng

”Thank you, Hoshi.” Shimazu, after awaiting Xiao Feng to pass the teapot, helped himself to a pour into his cup. He sipped in a steady, calculated draw as he heard out Xiao Feng’s proposal. He neither winced nor broke his demeanor as The Head of the Blue Dragon spoke. When the deal was laid out, Shimazu finished drinking and set his cup down gently upon the table.

”All that you’ve said of current happenings is true.” He had been seeing the pressure mounting from 70th Street over the recent months; he knew full well that Valentina Vega would jump at the chance to cut into Little Asia. Feng’s proposal was of no surprise to him; it was only a matter of time until one gang or the other sought to exercise themselves through him and the Lucky Noodle. ”However, I’m afraid I must decline your offer at this time.” Shimazu’s peripheral vision shifted towards Taiwu in the corner to his right. ”I don’t believe it would be good for the image of myself or this establishment to associate so closely with enterprises such as yours.”

In the corner of his eye he saw a stir.

Taiwu had ceased leaning against the counter. The side eye from Shimazu had caught his surveying gaze of the shop. ‘Enterprises such as yours.’ The words had been cut towards him as much as spoken to his boss. Sensing that the discussions might be ending in pointed fashion, Taiwu made for Xiao Feng’s side with a stride that seemed prepared for conflict.

Xiao Feng looked at Taiwu for a moment and held up his hand motioning for him to stay back for now before turning his attention back to Shimazu. “It’s only a matter of time before Vega sets her eyes on your shop. I am sure you are aware of one of her underlings The Bull I believe she goes by can easily tear up your shop or harm your customers. Some added muscle nearby can certainly help. And like I said you won’t have to pay for this protection and I am sure your clients would prefer the added protection.” Xiao Feng said.

In the corner where she was sitting, Madalyne quietly continued to listen in on the conversation. She didn’t have much contact with either the Blue Dragons or 70th Street either as she continued to eat her noodles.

Kenzo straightened up, still with some chunks of broccoli and chicken on his lips, he could hear their propositions, he knew that given their ways and quite subtle worry for that Vega-girl meant that if the old man kept rejecting them they would have him hanged, in more than one way. He kept hearing, licking his lips from any chunk of meat or vegetable.

“Shoot.”

He gave a side glance to the place of the conversation, turning back after a short amount of time, the old man didn’t seem to have any sort of special skill, how could he ever defend from these sort of people, Kenzo quickly pushed those thoughts away as he needed to maintain a short profile, at least for the time being.

“I’m well aware of 70th Street’s enforcer.” Shimazu spoke sharply. While he maintained his primary focus on Xiao Feng, he kept a sideways glance towards Taiwu, who had stopped mid stride and remained where he had halted as if he might strike if prodded again. “I don’t believe that protecting myself, my business, and my staff from one criminal organization by aligning with another is a sound decision. To do so would be to back down from the principles I strive to embody and teach. Beyond that, I am quite assured that I’ve as much of a support network as I need; the community, and my staff, are vigilant.”

Taiwu broke his stillness and asserted himself at Xiao Feng’s. “You’re making a mistake, old man.” There was a flare in Taiwu’s eyes, and a tremble in his arms as he rolled his sleeves up.

“Perhaps,” Shimazu said, taking another sip from his tea cup. He cut a sharp look at Taiwu, before adding, “It wouldn’t be the worst I’ve made.”

Heat resonated from Taiwu’s forearms. There was a flicker, a spark, and before most in the shop could have caught up with it, his arms from his elbows down were ablaze in a mix of red, orange, white, and blue flames.

Shimazu dropped his cup, cracking it against the table and spilling out its contents. As quickly as Taiwu’s arms had caught, Ken Shimazu had sprung to his feet. His feet spread, and arms came up from his sides; he was poised for a fight. In the same instant, Hoshi, en route back to the kitchens, cut in between them, facing Taiwu.

“Sir! I’ll need to ask you to lea--”

A burning hand swept across Hoshi’s head, Taiwu swatting her out of his way as he returned Shimazu’s favor with a fighting stance of his own.

No sooner had Hoshi fallen to the floor, was Shimazu’s fist striking across the table towards Taiwu’s neck.

Kenzo slammed his fist upon the table, quickly standing up and appearing some feet away from Taiwu, Kenzo might not know what were the capacities of this foe, but that didn’t matter for this, he was doubtful, this was risky, becoming enemies with the blue dragons in his regular persona is just a bad idea.

Yet, Kenzo doesn’t tolerate the idea of someone being hurt. The old man seemed surprisingly fast, he quickly deduced he had a military past, which probably explains a lot from this exchange with the Blue Dragons.

“Hey…”

Kenzo tried to get Taiwu’s attention off Shimazu, he had a rough draft of his strategy; he would attempt to fight defensively, staying purposely sloppy so he wouldn’t suspect anything.

Madalyne quickly got up from where she was sitting seeing Taiwu grabbing the waitress Hoshi with his hand and pushing her to the ground, she got up and promptly helped the girl up to her feet. She moved closer towards the far corner of the shop closer towards the kitchen. “Are you okay?” She asked her as Hoshi nodded slightly, a small burn was on her where Taiwu had touched her. A slight green glow appeared from her hands as she used her magic to heal Hoshi’s burns.

Xiao sat there calmly in his seat as he sipped his tea while looking up between his right hand and Shimazu. Taiwu was always a little hotheaded and started conflicts like this a lot of the time but he quietly observed between the two to see who would end up coming out on top.

Shimazu had half-expected Xiao Feng to cut into the fight. It almost came as a surprise when he felt his fist connect, albeit with the side of Taiwu’s neck rather than the throat. The young man Shimazu had spoken to earlier had risen and pulled Taiwu’s attention. But the pyromancer quickly wheeled back to the Lucky Noodle’s proprietor as the fist struck him.

Shimazu, rebounding out of his punch, stepped out from behind the table.

Taiwu mirrored the movement and the two faced off, both resuming their fighting stance.

“This isn’t your fight,” Shimazu said, calling over Taiwu’s shoulder to the young man. As he spoke, a pair of Blue Dragons near the door stood up and flanked the bold patron.

“Oh… Well, I thought something else would happen.” Kenzo said as he was quickly cornered by multiple Blue Dragon members, with a single drop of sweat falling from his forehead signaling his thoughts about this whole situation. “Crap.” It’s all Kenzo could say if he hadn’t just thought about saying it.

Kenzo clenched his fist and tried to form some way out of this possible fight. He knew there was a thin line between being stupid or brave, also given the fact that he didn’t know how his powers worked properly.

“But I’ll thank you for holding the scrubs, if you can handle them.” he glared at Taiwu “You don’t want this fight, Taiwu, he said calmly.

“Oh but I do,” Taiwu spat. “I want to show you how wrong you were.”

“Then there’s nothing else for it,” An undertone of grief cut through Shimazu’s words. “Hoshi… you and the rest of the staff will escort our patrons outside. There is no need for anyone else to be harmed for the sake of old squabbles.”

“Y-yes, Shimazu-San.” Hoshi got to her feet. “Thank you,” she whispered to Madelyne. “There was something weird about that burn. But you healed it just fine.” She turned and gathered the patrons and the rest of the serving staff, and she and all who would follow her exited the restaurant.

All who remained: Kenzo, flanked by Blue Dragon foot soldiers; Madelyne; Shimazu and Taiwu standing off against each other in building tension; lastly Xiao Feng, observing and waiting…

Kenzo looked at Xiao Feng while he waited for his plate. It's shocking; he looks even shorter in person. So, this is the leader of the Blue Dragons? Hehe, I expected some big guy, not this little dude. Well, focus, Kenny, you don't have to underestimate your future enemies.

Kenzo turned to see the other man, Zhang. He could expect to fight him sooner or later, but even so, he looks stronger than Xiao Feng, not physically, but more spiritually. He doesn't know how to confirm this, but he's somewhat sure of it. What problem are these people going to do now? Man... I'm not in the mood nor the place for a fight.. Suddenly, Kenzo got a "question" in his mind, another word for "breaking the silence."

"Hey, mister Shimazu, do you serve good food here?" Everyone shifted their gaze towards Kenzo, he looked around as if on this, "What? I'm not sure about what that hoshi lady said." He smirked while asking this.

Kenzo raised an eyebrow at the sight of the owner, he seemed nice. The type of person to own this sort of store. Kenzo nodded at his bow, "Hello, sir. I hope this place is to my liking. Not that I'm too critical of things." Kenzo adjusted his shades before entering the store, and he made his way towards a seat close to the bathroom. It turned out to be far from where most people sat down, and the lady called Hoshi came to ask him for an order. "Huh... give me the best you got here, I want to have this place this high up." he gestured his hand right over his head, signaling that he had a great esteem for the little store he had just entered.

Yet from time to time, he gazed at the Blue Dragon Members who had sat at the opposite side of the store. It was not the right or good place to start a fight, so he had to keep a low profile at the sight of them. All that he could ever want was not to fight against them in the daylight while being potentially seen by multiple people.
