Looks like a typo replication. Remember, any mistakes we make can be replicated to make our lives more miserable! Someone somewhere dropped an E and I think an S as well -- we should be fine, working through small errors like that, but it might start compounding. Sooooooooo proofreading, I guess, lol.

In the meantime, commence operation PLEASE LET ME LIVE.
To Luca, the most remarkable part of his surroundings were the several passengers not ticking. Naturals. He ought to have been on his best behavior, but circumstances being what they were, he was grateful simply for consciousness. He sat quietly with his head bowed -- just as he'd found himself upon waking, unable to move. His eyes remained fixed on the small plaque in his palm, until he was able to conjure some small movement in his fingers. With his first movements he turned his hand over, concealing the missive against his lap, and then sat there motionless once again, hoping no one had noticed.

"Where are we going?" asked an unfamiliar voice.

"I'd like to know the answer to that question too, please," asked another.

Then, after a pause, "Well I can't speak for everyone here, but I'm on my way to see a patient."

Luca's eyes flicked up. He chanced only the briefest glance around the cabin, just enough to bewilder himself at the strange decor and the stranger compatriots, then lowered his head again. The red-haired man seemed more glowering than 'dorky,' but could only be the one mentioned in his message. So then. Stay close to that one.

Perhaps it was only his imagination, but Luca thought he felt eyes on him. He raised his head and opened his eyes, or tried to -- only the left responded. He was staring into a mask of metal with darkened slits. I will never understand the wealthy, he thought, assuming this strange disguise to be some sort of Corporate-natural fashion. He turned his attention to the others, avoiding his red-haired assignment, and settled on the one who had spoken of a patient.

"Good...... morning?" he said, feeling foolish. He straightened up, and, still a bit stiff, jostled some of the drinks with an involuntary movement of his arm. No harm done. "Sorry," he said anyway. More than anything he wanted to ask where he was, who they were, what they were doing here -- but his missive seemed to imply some sort of mischief would soon be expected of him. He didn't know whether these naturals were his partners or his targets. For now he would have to settle for trying to follow his instructions to the letter, and keeping his head down.

I interpreted it to mean that his relative strength and range of motion are limited to organic constraints, but noted. Editing.

*EDIT: Done. Changed 'actuator control' to 'motor control.'

Funny how analogue etymology works.

We ought to phase it out.
<Snipped quote by mdk>

Luca is free to have already regained actuator control if you like, though if you want him to remain immobile for the time being I will not stop you.

Incidentally (and it's no big deal), I mentioned -- poorly -- in the bio that Luca's mobility is all organic, which was meant to imply he's got all-natural musculature. "Actuators" in this case wouldn't really apply..... could we, Idunno, call for some sort of edit on that, to negate, oh, I don't know, some similar offense by no one in particular on the team?

#IgotUfam
adding a post after work today. Luca's incapacitated a bit, so if you're interested in posting again ahead of my move, feel free, that would make plenny o sense.

I am inspired.

Just need to decide what image I want Luca stamped into.

*tips hat* Well played, Maestro.

On some level, now you can't un-see it either!
OK bear with me on this one

Alright. Alright, I hear you -- HEY I SAID ALRIGHT already god. Players, if you're wondering how to handle Luca -- good, I've got you right where I want you. He should be as weird to your characters as he is to you (barring an unforseen entry who, like, knows all about molecular golems, or whatever). The essence of the character is this: he's a very normal guy. Built out of insane pieces and technology, sure, but don't worry about it. Something tells me that's not going to be a problem.
But, that said, you said FAVORABLE manner. I am totally clueless how you mean. Make a world filled with fairies of healing and specify that the fairies are EVERYWHERE so that nobody can actually die? ... Putting aside that Terminal definitely would find a way to kill us anyway, but, hah. If it's favorable, sure. Maybe. Hahahaha. Myself, I don't mind anything.

I was actually thinking cancer patient, lol (oh god did I just say CANCER LOL I am going to hell). But in hindsight..... know what, I'm just gonna run with the pack for the first round
I picked a fortuitous time to randomly log back into RPG! As evidenced by my lengthy disappearance, life has gotten crazy.... But the good news (?) is that a royally busted shoulder is going to knock me out of work for a few weeks/months, so that should lend me some time to participate. Or at the least, to avoid -- by my absence -- ruining everything for the survivors.

I'll follow whatever cooperative guidelines you other players lay out. @Terminal is excellent at keeping secrets and I'm privy to nothing (proof: all those times I wildly missed the point of a labor!), so this is all a bit, uh...... terrifying.... but we'll figure something out. Dunno what my posting-pace will look like...... or..... hmm. Well like I said -- following your lead, unless I come up with something brilliant.

edit:

You may submit space pirates...
Terminal

HUZZAH

SECOND EDIT:

So folks, uh..... a couple people in this merry band *cough* *cough* have a few lives to spare. I don't think I'd be doing my part if I didn't assume some extra risk.... Would anyone be greatly offended if I were to tactically create a character which might (maybe? IDUNNO!!) alter the confluence of realities in a somewhat-favorable manner? Seeing as I've got lives to burn. The risk is I inadvertently make it MORE dangerous for you, instead of LESS. I leave the decision to the merry band.
