Delvin had been sitting at the bar silently for the last hour or so, awaiting Sacha's return. He should've just taken the payment when he found him out in the field, but he had missed that opportunity by a long shot. He shook his head and sipped on his drink, intending to make it last.
Soon enough, the amber liquid disappeared completely from his glass, leaving only a pair of granite cubes in the cup and the disappointment of the lynx's absence on his face. "Fucking Christ, where the fuck is that asshole?" He left the glass for Ansel to collect, along with the crowns needed to cover the drink, and retrieved a pair of goggles from his vest. He slid them over his eyes and left the building, walking out into the sandstorm in an attempt to take seconds off his meeting. Over the noise of the wind howling and kicking sand through the city, he could barely make out the rumble of an engine approaching slowly. "That better be his ass..." The bird mumbled to himself, crossing his arms and trying to spot headlights through the storm.
