Lady Margaret Wolfbane hung in the gaily, her eyes closed as she heard the water hitting the old wood of the ship she was held on. The chains that held her to the wall cut into her tanned skin, wet and dried blood around her lower arms. She was weak and sick, but the fire burning in her soul kept her from giving into these monsters. She was the last member of her crew, the captain of the ship ShadowStrike. A childlike name she knew, but she had been a child when she named it. Her father let her name his new ship as a gift for her, telling her it would be hers one day. And hers it still was.

The pirates who had taken her wanted to know where the Strike was, but she hadn't spoken a word since they had found her in the small village she was visiting and took her, Wolfbane going with them willingly as long as they didn't hurt the people there. When one of the men tried to break the deal by taking a woman to rape her, Wolfbane pulled a saber free and ran him through, the pirates unable to stop her let alone move. So now she hung below decks, feverish, wounded and beaten and starving...but still silent.

She heard shouts above and cannon fire. Margaret looked up and finally opened bright green hazel eyes. She smiled and said "Finally....some action..." She twisted her wrist and the cuffs fell away from her, Wolfbane landing on her feet and swayed slightly. She rolled her neck and headed for the stairs. The crew hadn't bothered to lock the cell door, they were sure she was too weak. They didn't know who they were truly dealing with.

She found her way up the stairs just as the pirates were starting to board the merchant ship. She frowned and said "So blood thirsty...I give them some blood then..." She grabbed one of the men from behind and pulled his blade from his waist, throwing him over board all in the same movement. She waited till the other pirates were aboard before grabbing a rope and swinging over just as one of the older women was knocked to the ground by one of the other crewmen. He was tall and strong, his grey eyes holding a fire she knew all too well.

But she couldn't pause as she saw some of the younger stronger pirates heading for the stairs, for below decks. That wasn't going to happen. She ran forward, moving past fighting men and hitting a few of the pirates as she went, then moved infront of the double doors and faced the killers. The one in the lead stared and said "It can't be...you should be..." Wolfbane smiled and held up her saber, aiming for his face.

"Its my turn now..." She moved forward with a speed that would be hard to rival, fighting them all at once as much as she could. She couldn't let them get below decks. She knew that there must be women and children below. No one with a pure soul was going to die while she was there. True, she was already wounded from her own capture and those wounds were added to in the battle, but she didn't care. As her blood mixed with those she took down, she panted as her targets became none and she waited for more of the pirates to make their way towards the doors. But they didn't come. The other crew of men were holding their own, and the first man she had seen was fighting like a lion.

She blinked hard, her sight started to blur as her weakness and blood loss was starting to affect her. But she didn't back down as a few of the pirate crew tried to make a run for below deck, Wolfbane cutting them down without much thought. She lost track of how long she had been fighting, and how many lives she took. Or saved for that matter.

When the sun started to rise and the battle was over, the remaining pirates taking their ship and making a run for it, Wolfbane limped over to the railing and watched them go. She smirked weakly and muttered "I believe they saw enough blood to last a life time..." She shuttered, her vision going blurry again as the man from before spotted her and made his way towards her, the world starting to spin.
