She shouted the last part and bolted up in bed, breathing hard as her wild eyes looked around for her foe. But no one was there. She cursed and rubbed her eyes, her hands shaking. "All a nightmare then...reason I don't like sleeping...."

Maggie looked at him then said "in the dawn my shadows will fade....till then I must do what I can to protect this family....if I had been here sooner then none of the pain and fear they have already gone thru wouldn't have happened..."

Megumi simply nodded, checking off the things he read. She already wasn't liking this mission. She hated when they teamed up with other groups, they always acted like they knew everything. And this major was treating her like a child. If he knew what she could really do....

The door was unlocked and he would hear a soft voice inside. Wolfbane was still asleep, the blanket off of he bed now as she tossed and turned. She was muttering in her sleep, trying to fight off some unknown threat. One of the maids came up to Roger and said "I've been hearing voices from this room all night. The old lord used to talk in his sleep before he passed away...but it wasn't like this"

Maggie sighed and said "who wouldn't be...I've been reading up on the family....he would be the one to worry but I believe once we get there we will be able to sort all of this out..." She had to pause to get a few breathes then said "ciel has been asleep for a few hours now....if you wish to check on him..." She flinched slightly, feeling the presence of the being from before trying to reach her again

Wolf was shaking by this point, beads of sweat running down her face. But her powers gave her a high sense of those living things around her, which this sense made her look behind them and sense something there. She tried to move, her body yelling in protest as she tapped Ivor on the shoulder and nodded to behind them. "We...have a tail...I can sense it...even with my eyes not working too well..."

Wolf shook her head and said "we can't go back now...I can last a little while out here...hopefully till it's safe to go back into..." She coughed hard, blood hitting her hand and she cursed. "Or not. Wait....I know a place we can go. It's where I was hiding out before I went after those ships. It's on the other side of the island..." She tried to get up to use her gust shot again.

Megumi nodded, going down the list and marking off the items when he read them aloud. After a time she looked up and said "seems everything is here...." Something seemed to be bugging her and she put the tablet down and looked around the room. "But something is missing. It's not on the list but there should be hand held weapon chargers in here and I'm not seeing them"

Wolfbane nodded, not liking the idea. It knew she really had no choice. Sleep was the best way to heal. When the others turned to leave she nodded again and said weakly "thank you...I am truly sorry about all of this..." Then she was out cold, breathing deeply as the baroness shut the door.

In the middle of the night Margaret was tossing and turning in her sleep, cold sweat running down her face as she muttered "no...please...don't do this....it's me you want....not them....take me instead..." She turned again, her breathing fast and harsh as she fought off her own personal demons.
