So not sure how I’ll be the next little while. I lost my grandmother today. So anyone writing with me if I seem to vanish I didn’t mean to. Just a heads up.

Okay for all those I’m writing with, I’m not going to be on as much this week for I am on my own with the kids this week and I’m also trying to redo my office space. I promise I have not forgotten.

Bio

I am Megara Foxfire and I have been on the site for around 11 years now, old site then the new site. I am married to a wonderful man who makes me happy every day and I am a interior designer. I am at home with our daughter and son and I love to write to pass my time when I'm not cleaning my house or doing other wife things.

I love doing 1X1 role-plays and I love using thread or pms. I either go off my interest thread, which I have one that is more updated going or I have a list of characters that I am working on to base plots on. If you are interested in being partners just PM me and I'll talk with ya on ideas. I write causal, sometimes higher if the story grabs me.

I am up for anything as long as it doesn’t include kids or hurting kids or abusing them. I’m a mom so I don’t do well with it.

And I also run a Etsy Shop!

Wolf nodded and said "Agreed...I'm not in the mood to die...I am not a huge fan of the idea..." The doors opened and Bane walked in, looking around till he saw his sister and walked over to her. "Its time, sis...sorry major I need to borrow her for a little bit if you don't mind" Wolf stood and looked at the major. "I'll be in my quarters if you need to find me later sir" The silbings left the dining room, Bane letting his sister go first.

Bane ran the scans on Wolf in her room, Wolf flinching as the scan read her cells. Bane pulled back and looked at his hand held computer, shaking his head. "Its getting stronger...that energy is getting more infused with your cells then our last scan" Wolf pulled her jacket back on and said "So its getting worse...and it looks like its nothing to do with how much I use my skills..." Bane sat down on the bed and said "There's not much more I can do...just be careful and try not to over strain yourself...though I know you will anyway. Just keep your head down and we will be fine. You can call her now" He got up and handed her the tablet. "I talked to her earlier, just get back to me later" He smiled and left the room, keeping her door open slightly. He walked down the hallway passing the Major, nodding to him as they past each other.

Wolf sat on the bed and hit a few of the buttons to pull up a video chat screen where a little girl was sitting on her bed humming to herself, reading a book. Wolf smiled and said "Iris? Over here" The young girl looked over and smiled, jumping up and running over to the screen. "Wolfy! Its you! I thought you wouldn't be able to call for a while" Wolf smiled and said "Well, it helps Bane being a big to do on the ship. And I wanted to surprise you. How are you feeling?" Iris nodded and said "Better thanks to you and Bane. I'm sorry you almost missed your ship because of me..." Wolf shook her head and said "Don't you worry about it. We made it just fine...did you take your meds?" Iris nodded and said "yep, and I did all the other stuff Bane told me to do. How are you feeling? Bane said you weren't feeling well before after you helped me..." Wolf waved her hand and said "I'm fine...just a little tired is all little one. I will be fine, you just make sure you take your meds and keep your training up as well. I need you to be better then me one day, alright?" Iris nodded then after a minute asked "When will you be home, Wolf? Your always gone...and always in danger." Wolf touched the screen and said "Soon...I hope...but remember what I told you, Iris..." Iris nodded and said "We keep the honor of the family...no matter what it takes" Wolf nodded then said "Now get some sleep...I'll write everyday and you better too. I'll call when I can again, alright?" Iris nodded and said "I love you, Wolfy..." Wolf smiled and said "I love you too, little one..." Iris smiled then the screen went dark. Wolf put the tablet aside and sighed, holding her head.
She watched to two mages working while he got ice cream, thinking. They deserved a chance to prove themselves. When it came to life or death, the magi she knew always pulled thru. When the major came back andhanded her the jar she took it gently and said "I don't have much free time on my hands, sir....I learn new things, try new skills...care for my loved ones...in my family I have a job to do that takes up much of my time" she took a bite of ice cream, her thoughts back home for a moment. Then she said "what about you sir? Do you have a family back home?"
Wolf didn't move as the wood hit her, they did damage but her rage was all she felt. She roared and ducked down, pulling her blade free and slamming her hand into his chest. What happened next was not the normal Wolf would have done. Not the calm, collected Wolf. this Wolf...she was her namesake now. The energy wrapped around Balto, his own shadow wrapping around him and tightening, his scales breaking as it got tighter. Wolf didn't pause as she ran her blade thru him, using her on life energy to increase her strength to push the blade all the way thru. She knew it wouldn't finish him off for good, but it would make it easier for Ivor and Dara to. She pulled the fishman closer to her, her lips at his sort of ear as she muttered "There was one thing I forgot to say before...my name is Margaret Anne Wolfbane...the captain of the Shadowstrike...and I'm no hypocrite...I am not like other humans...I have a heart...you, on the other hand...don't have a heart or a soul...so my question is...what happens to you when your life leaves your body?"

She was shaking badly, her face almost green from wanting to be sick again. But she held it in as she looked over at Ivor. "What do you want to do with him, Captain? Shall I finish him?"
Wolf looked at him, thinking it thru and said "I know what I need to know for the mission. What I don't know I learn quickly. I've worked with your military before, and I believe will be just fine. As for those other ninjas your worried about, don't be. The mission always comes first to us. We get the job done no matter what. Honor is on the line if we do not. And so are lives, which to us...we do not take lightly. Or on whim." She finished her plate and sat back, looking into the majors eyes. She didn't like how he spoke of those she called comrades. True, they weren't military, but that didn't make them any less then the soldiers walking around them now.
Wolf was right behind Ivor, her whole body shaking badly as she looked around. She felt ill herself, closing her eyes as she felt the life around her epp and weaken. She moved back, her emotions rising as she tried to block out the sad auras around her. She muttered "This is wrong...so wrong..." She turned and said "I can't..." she went back up on deck, fighting to breathe. She grabbed the railing and vomited over the side, her mind pounding. She shouldn't have come. If she had known she wouldn't have...

She felt Balto's eyes on her and her eyes glowed purple. It was good for her it was still early in the morning, the moonlight still above them. Not many knew that the moonlight, much light sunlight, has energy to it. Life to it. Its what controlled the tides after all. It was her favorite kind of life. Shadows. She turned to the fishman, her hands shaking in feeling sick and rage. Pure rage. She walked up to him and without warning grabbed him and slammed him against the wall of the cabin, her eyes burning purple now.

"I should have known...fishmen don't care about life...only money and power...do you even care that they are all sick down there? Dying? I can feel every single one of them...their pain, their sadness....their lack of hope...its enough to kill someone...if you and your bloody kind only knew what that felt like I wonder if it would change your ways..." She fought not to vomit again, the life on the ship starting to affect her worse the longer she was on deck. She looked him in the eyes and said "I don't care the price...or the reason...I won't let you do this...I went to prison for killed three ships worth of pirates who wanted to kill and rape a group of kids for sport...you think I wouldn't go back for this?" She raised her free hand and purple energy was gathered in her palm, swirling and smoke like.
She didn't open her eyes until he came back and sat down, then when asked a question opened her eyes. They were glowing softly which faded quickly as she said "for the mission, I don't really have much to speak on thoughts. It should be interesting and a challenge but apart from that I'm just hoping we don't take someone's home. As for the joint operation ...." She paused and took a few bites of food before saying "it would be nice for the groups to work to together. We are fighting for the same planet, not just countries as it used to be. This could be the start of a new way of thinking or end up in bloodshed. Which out come? I don't really know" she reached for the water and poured herself some, then looked at the major. "What about you sir? What are your thoughts?"
As soon as wolf stood on the deck the energy of all the life on board hit her like a bag of bricks. She stumbled back, luckily Dara was by her to catch her. She shook her head, covering her eyes to try and sort thru it all. After a few moments she looked at Balto, almost glaring at him. "If your cargo is below deck....I hope for your sake it's not what I think it is..." Her hands were shaking
I'm so sorry my friend. Take all the time you need.
Wolf nodded and said " if you are sure..." She turned to the crew and said "alright men. I am your captain, if anyone has a problem with that, bring it to me" she turned to the helmsmen and said "our heading is north by northeast. You may lower the sails, sir"
Wolf looked at her, smiling slightly. "I'm not strong...just stubborn. And I don't mind answering...I fight for my dream...and for the dream of my father. I want to make the ship he built the most well known ship in the seven seas...and my dream is a little more personal just yet" she pulled her hair back as the boats met up, ready for anything.
