The one in the hood kicked Megumi over, Megumi gasping in pain. He said "dislocated shoulder, broken ribs, wounded shoulder and a busted leg...and your still able to move. Impressive...but not a reason to let you escape..." Megumi glared at him and said "I won't let you take me...not in this life..." Suddenly something came flying and hit one of the other ninja, sending him flying. Megumi took that chance to jump up and tackle the hooded ninja, pinning him to the ground. She gasped as he grabbed her neck and her eyes glowed silver. He stared as a cloak of energy appeared around Megumi and she said "times up..." She grabbed his wrist and broke it without a problem. Then he kicked her off of him and cursed, holding his wrist. Then he waved his arm and said "ninja style, revenge of nature jitsu!" The ground jumped up and hit Megumi, burying her under the land slid

Mission: Shadow of the Warrior

A man stood on the hill side, watching the village below burning. He was a Ninja of the Hidden Moonlight, a bandage covering his left eye, his right eye bright blue and full of sadness. He looked down in his arms where he was holding a bundle where a small child was sleeping. He sighed and said "I'm sorry, little one...your life is going to be very hard now, but I promise you, you will understand one day...and you will be strong for this" He took one more look down at the village then he vanished.

12 years later....

Megumi ran hard, jumping through the trees and dodging branches as she heard the three ninja behind her. She cursed, knowing all too well that she couldn't run forever. She had a mission and she was the only one who could carry it out. She jumped up into the trees and waited till the ninja tailing her stopped below her, looking around. One of them said "She is still here, keep looking" Megumi smiled softly and made a hand sign. "Ninja Art, Shadows of Nature jistu!" suddenly the shadows around the three came alive and wrapped around them, pulling them into the air and holding them there. Megumi sighed and then took off running again. It would get them off her tail for now, but not forever. But she couldn't focus on that. She needed to get to the village her father had sent her too for help.

Megumi soon could see the top of the village buildings and she smiled. "At last...I'm almost there." She had been on the move for days without rest or food, and her shadow chakra was almost gone. She couldn't have anymore delays.....

Something hit her hard from the side, blind siding her like a freight train. She lost her footing and slammed into a tree hard, catching herself on a tree brach just before falling to the ground. She looked up to see a hooded ninja above her, his eyes glowing. She stared, feeling what felt like a dislocated shoulder and a nasty wound on her shoulder as she slowly got up on the tree branch. She said "Who are you? WHy are you and your drones after me?" The ninja didn't answer, just jumped down to be right across from her. Then he said "you what the boss wants...I don't ask questions..." He made a hand sign but Megumi was already on the move. She moved out of the fire line and made a hand sign as well.

He shifted and said "Earth style, trap from the depths jistu!" The ground below them exploded but Megumi yelled out "Ninja Art! Shadow of the protector!" Her shadow moved in front of her and incased her just in time before the ground wrapped around her. The earth mound hit the ground hard, the ninja jumping down and looking around. He sighed and said "Can't track her now....I'll have to find her once she comes back up...."

A few yards away Megumi burst from the ground, coughing and panting as she pulled herself out, her body bruised and bleeding. The smash into the ground had done more damage then she could have handled. She pulled herself up and grabbed a tree, her legs shaking. "He will find me soon...I can't do anymore...only one thing left..." She threw up her arm and said weakly "Fire style...breath of the dragon...." She threw fire into the air, the blaze reaching higher then the trees and could be seen from miles around. She fell to the ground, panting as sweat ran down her face. "Please...let someone have seen that...please..."
