In the next pod over was huge well toned man named Bane Clawson. He sat up, rubbing his head as he looked around with his golden eyes. He was a solider from the war that was known as the Wolf. He had the mutation to shift into a part wolf part man from his family bloodline. Which made him perfect for warfare. But he was also brilliant in Tactics and the one in charge of security on the ship. He looked around and saw the girls and nodded. “Morning, ladies...and doctor.”

The next pod was open already as a young woman stood by the pod looking around. She had dark hair and bright silver eyes. This was Serena Nightshade, her nickname Shadow. She had powers over shadows the magic behind them. She was an assassin in the war and was here to run from her past. Her hidden history she never talked about but it held herself as a high society would. She looked around and nodded quietly, not sure what to say in this setting.

The last pod opened after the others and a red headed man sat up, cracking his neck and groaning. Dante Vale, an explorer of all kinds and expert in alien life forms. He was here for the adventure and the money, of course. He smiled at the girls and looked around asked “has anyone seen a hat anywhere...”

Serena waved him off and muttered “I’m fine...” she followed the fox and Bane nodded to the droid and said “he is having fun with this...you just hang by me, I’ll make sure it’s secure...” they started walking and as they went farther Serena had gone quiet, trying to shake the strange feeling coming over her. Bane moved next to the fox and said “so what memory are we walking into? And what is up with Serena?”

Serena looked at him then said “thank you VT...my foot caught and I tripped...” she got to her feet and held her arm. “And my arm is killing me...it’s still swollen.” Bane saw Serena’s sword was glowing now and said “then why is her sword glowing?”

Serena was feeling off as she stood there, looking out of it now. Bane looked at the fox and said “well let’s figure out why your sword brought us here...”

Bane nodded and said “this is old magic...I can feel it. Serena was raised in this kind of magic so she will be right at home. This is time jump...every bit that was then will happen to us. Like him having a heartbeat and no collar...and you being human...” he sniffed again and said “so why bring us...”

Serena was walking when her foot caught on the moss and she slipped, but then fell down the hill a few yards from them and rolled down it. Bane saw her vanish and said “Crap Serena! She’s stil hurt!”

Serena blushed and said “sorry, it was the only thing I could think of to wake you up...” she got up slowly to follow him out of the cave. Bane moved next to the droid and saw him change. “The magic is making you match the time era...”

Serena looked around, holding her sore arm and said “it feels like home...I haven’t felt this in years...” she walked thru the grass, a soft smile on her face. Bane looked at the fox and said “why did your sword bring us here?”

Bane stirred and opened his eyes and groaned. “What happened? Something feels off...” he looked outside and said “where the heck are we...” he got up and walked outside, sniffing the air. “VT, can you run scans?”

Serena tried to wake the fox, both swords shaking badly. “Torak? Wake up! Something it really wrong wake up!” She sighed then said “slapping might work but not on you...his really going to be mad...” she moved and kissed him, bursting her energy thru the kiss into him. It was the only thing she could think to wake him.

Serena looked at her arm and muttered “it might still be out of place...or I hurt it more then we thought...” then she saw the sword and moved over to it, flinching as she did and picked up the blade. “What is it? I wonder if this has a mind of its own like my twins...”

Then her blade started shaking as well and she frowned. “Now that’s not good...what could be going on? VT, can you wake Bane?” She moved to Torak and gently rested a hand on his shoulder. “Torakshi? Something is wrong...”

Serena looked at the fox and saw the burns. “Oh Torak...” she moved and grabbed her bag, pulling out a small bottle and set it in his open sleeping hand. “That will help the burns...I don’t want to wake him...” she saw Bane passed out by the doorway and sat up more, using the wall of the cave.

“What time is it?” She pulled the blanket up and saw the light outside. Then she said “he saved me didn’t he...”

Bane leaned his head back and closed his eyes. “We can handle this...it will be alright...maybe Serena can handle this...he seemed to be really worried about her...” he sighed and was half asleep when he muttered “maybe...they can fix..fix...” soon he was out cold, his head resting on his chest.

After a little bit Serena stirred, opening her eyes and tried to sit up. “Torak? VT? What’s going on...” she looked at her arm and said “did I pass out...”

Bane paused as rubbed his face, looking tired as he muttered “sometimes I hate humans...then they do something amazing and impossible...then I question everything...” he sat by the droid, looking worn and about to pass out.

He looked over at the fox and Demi goddess and said “do you think she will be okay? And him? After what he saw...” he fighting to keep his eyes open, not wanting to leave the droid alone.
