She looked at him and said “okay...but this time, learn your lesson. I can’t get found again...” Bane nodded and vanished. Serena flinched and lowered her head.

John sat on the floor and held his head. “We might have been too late...” he tried to get up and the room spun. He looked at Chas and said “sorry mate...I...” he fell forward and Serena cursed trying to move fast enough to catch him.

When the water was dumped, Serena gasped and sat up straight, coughing and shaking. She looked around and said “what’s the heck going on?!” John moved the gem back and smiled weakly. “Welcome back love. You are in a spot of...” suddenly shadows wrapped around Serena and the wolf shadow appeared again behind her.

“Next time just ask...you can’t push me away any longer, chosen one...” Serena glanced back and the shadows glowed silver. She looked at them all and asked “I was dying again wasn’t I?”

John cursed and said “not Kay, that wouldn’t help her. Serena. She has to wake up even for just a moment. Ice water on her. That will kick Fee out of her head and back into Kay’s head. It’s the only way I think...before I get drained dry...” he lowered His head, the room starting to spin on him.

The Bane looked at her and said “I will force it then...as long as she’s not alone...go back to your host...I will handle things if she can wake up”

In her mind and soul it looked like the night sky. When Fee called out she heard a growl and a huge wolf appeared, his fur black like the night sky with stars. “I can’t help her...she won’t let me. She worries it will draw attention again. Before we were linked but then she was attacked for my power...just like before...she cut me off after that...I can’t reform the link without help...”

John cursed and said “I hate to do this...Chas, get ice water. We have to wake her up now...we dump cold water over her...”

John looked at her and said "Go for it. We can keep Kay calm if you want her to be awake during this...be careful alright Fee?" Serena was fighting to open her eyes as John looked back at Serena and said "Come on love...you can do it..." He lowered his head, his hands starting to shake now.

John nodded and said "Yes, that does ring a bell" He looked at Kay and said "The Shadow of the Moon is also known as The Bane. A huge wolf spirit that works at the right hand of the Goddess Nyx, the Greek Goddess of Night and Shadows...I think. I'm a little rusty on my myths. So we have to figure out how to give her energy back...some how calling The Bane..." he shook his head, starting to feel light headed from the energy sharing.

Serena stirred a little, turning her head. John looked up and said "Is it working? How's her shaking?"

John looked up then an idea came to mind. "Kay...Fee is awake in your head right now? Maybe...maybe she might have an ideas on what to do..." He looked at Chas and nodded. He took the gem from the other side and closed his eyes, the gem glowing brighter as he started to charge the gem from his end. He flinched, now feeling how drained she was from being linked to her through the gem. He cursed and said "That bloody dirt bag...he almost drained her dry...I can't fill this all the way for her..." He sighed and then said "What did Serena say she was? Exact words?"

Serena was starting to get paler. The shadows were moving less and less by the minute.

John listened and checked where Chas told him and he cried out, pulling out the box and digging thru to find a glowing gem. "I found it! And lucky for us we have one that's a little charged" He ran over and jumped down the stairs, landing by Serena and asked "Any change?" When Chas answered John took one of Serena's hands and wrapped her fingers around it. He looked up at Chas and said "Its only partly charged...she will need more...Kay can't cause she's already tapped...I'll do it but you'll have to keep trying to wake her up incase I use my energy to charge it and...well, pass out. Can you do that? Its the only answer I see..."

John cursed and walked over, resting his hand on her cheek again and said "Serena? Love you got to open your eyes...come on wake up..." He cursed again and looked at Chas. "She's in trouble, try and bring her around while I get a few things. We have to give her enough energy to recover on her own...and she can't do it like this" He jumped up and ran for the study, bolting up the stairs as fast as he could.

Serena was still shaking, her breathing weak. John was making a racket upstairs as he was hunting for something to help. Then he called "Chas where the bloody did I put those big gems!?"
