So not sure how I’ll be the next little while. I lost my grandmother today. So anyone writing with me if I seem to vanish I didn’t mean to. Just a heads up.

Okay for all those I’m writing with, I’m not going to be on as much this week for I am on my own with the kids this week and I’m also trying to redo my office space. I promise I have not forgotten.

Bio

I am Megara Foxfire and I have been on the site for around 11 years now, old site then the new site. I am married to a wonderful man who makes me happy every day and I am a interior designer. I am at home with our daughter and son and I love to write to pass my time when I'm not cleaning my house or doing other wife things.

I love doing 1X1 role-plays and I love using thread or pms. I either go off my interest thread, which I have one that is more updated going or I have a list of characters that I am working on to base plots on. If you are interested in being partners just PM me and I'll talk with ya on ideas. I write causal, sometimes higher if the story grabs me.

I am up for anything as long as it doesn’t include kids or hurting kids or abusing them. I’m a mom so I don’t do well with it.

And I also run a Etsy Shop!

John blushed a little and muttered “manny showed up and you know how he keeps me from slugging him…he drained me. And I felt like it after he left and she gave me a hug and helped my core recover…she was on my lap when we heard you guys come in”

Serena sighed again and turned her head, the color returning to her face. John looked over and said “this won’t work for everything…but a power drain it works in a pinch”
John finished the spell once the feather was in place and it glowed brighter, starting to work. Serena sighed as the magic started to fix the damage and she turned her head, her shaking stopping. John moved to Chas and muttered “we need to figure out what she was talking about mate…”

John came back and said “what was that? I couldn’t hear ya. But he didn’t drop...” then he saw her wings out and said “oh, that’s a better idea” he walked over and knelt down, carefully pulling a loose feather out and rested it on the book. He clapped his hands and muttered a chant under his breath, his eyes glowing and then the feather glowed gold.

John nodded and moved back. “There, now just rest the feather on her chest, right above her heart. This should help her recover fast before any permanent damage happens” Serena was shaking, her eyes half closed.
John moved to the coffee table and laid the book on it, flipping thru the pages as Serena turned her head. “I loved him you know..,more then anyone...he was my rock...trained me to fighting hand to hand...he wasn’t even scared of my shadows...he knew what was coming for me and yet...he stayed and fought them off so I could run...or fight...we almost got out but...that bullet was for me and...he took it. He tackled me and took the shot...I held him as he died...he smiled at me the whole time...my shadows eating the demons to nothing...”

Tears rolled down her face and John looked up. “She’s talked about losing someone...man that’s not right...” he paused at a page and nodded. “Got it. It’s a easy one, a healing spell. Crap...I need a feather. I wonder if manny dropped one...” he got up and went back to the office.
Serena smiled softly and said “I’m always okay with you Kay...you remind me so much of him...the one I lost...” she shivered then closed her eyes. John came in with a book as Serena said “he was soft...like you but protective like Chas...and funny...he was perfect for me...too perfect...I wasn’t fast enough...I couldn’t protect him...I could spare him...”

John looked at Chas and raised an eyebrow. “The drain must be messing with her mind a little...who is she talking about?”
John shook his head and said “I don’t think this was the plan, Kay…I think she lost her control like the gods did in old times. But they didn’t have human bodies to deal with…Chas? She’s freezing, let’s get warm blankets. I’ll work on a spell to help recharge her core…and fast” he jumped up and headed to the work room

Serena was breathing sharply, her eyes half closed. She looked at Kay and muttered “it…is worth it…to save your heart and soul…” she smiled weakly and held her hand out to Kay.
Serena was fighting to stay awake as John set Kay down and moved over, checking Serena over. “She’s used heavy magic…let’s get her to the sitting room. I need to make sure she didn’t damage her magic core” he helped Chas get to the couch and laid her down, rested a hand on her forehead. “Serena? Love can you hear me?”

Serena nodded weakly but her vision was bad now. John looked at Chas and said “mate what the heck did she do?”
John smirked and said “I know the hug... it your healing me, Kay. Your hug is warming my magic core and it’s recovering...” then he heard the door and he frowned. “Serena. She’s not okay. Come on Kay” he picked her up and carried her out of the office and saw the pair by the door. “Mate you guys okay?”

Serena shook her head and said weakly “you shouldn’t be carrying...a woman...what would...would...” she fell back against him, a shadow jumped up and keeping her from falling over. She was breathing hard, her skin cold.
John sighed but when she hugged him he opened his eyes as he felt a warmth wash over him. It was like a blanket that was making him feel better. He moved back a little and asked “Kay? Do you know your doing that?”

Serena shook her head and leaned against him as they got to the door. “I really over did it...it’s hitting now...I think I pushed my limit too far...” the door opened and she fell forward onto her knees, thanks to Chas it wasn’t on her face.
Shade followed him slowly, cursing her pride at the moment. She looked around at the shops and bright signs trying to push away her pain but it wasn’t working. She knew if she took one more hit she would be down for the count.

She paused when the child came up and she nodded at his path. After a few minutes behind the girl she said softly “You can call me Ash…by the way. My old crew did…” she flinched and held her side as she asked the girl “what can you tell us of town?”
