Serena looked at her and said “no way. I’m not sitting this out. It’s not safe for anyone else. If they want me, then let them try. I won’t let anyone else take the risk if it’s my neck on the line. You two are more important then I am.”

She swayed a little on her feet as she moved to look for her bag. “I’ll hunt them down myself…” John sighed snd said “dang it…not stubborn Serena again…I don’t have anything in me to stop her”

Scarlet smiled and leaned back In the chair, letting the evening sounds take over and soon it was peaceful once more.

The next morning Scarlet was up and had gone to her room to get her things together. Ash was start to wake up, tuning her head.

Scarlet bowed her head and slipped her hat back on. “Of course. I’m glad to be a helping hand. Don’t worry, I doubt another came with that other poor soul. But we will keep watch. Get some sleep, Carth. Ash is safe with me”

Scarlet smiled and said “you think the monsters are tied to the Lady of the dark? That would explain a few things. Now we just need to figure out why?” She looked at Ash as the ranger stirred in pain. She checked her temperature and nodded.

“She seems to be doing alright…just needs to let it run its course…”

Serena looked up and said “hold on now, I’m not just hiding out while you guys find these guys. This my fight too” BAne sighed and said “Serena…if we are the target, we can’t be in the front of the fight. Bigger picture”

John looked up and cursed softly. “Apollo is the god of the sun…and the moon is…” Serena nodded and said “Nyx. I think I know what they are trying to do. The monster I saw in my vision…thinking about it now it could be only one thing. One the three titans locked away by the Greek gods. And one for seals to open the cage is…”

Bane finished for her “having the sun and the moon opening one of the locks. They want to open one of the doors to the Titans cages…Serena, your a target” Serena nodded and closed her eyes. Her hands shook as she muttered “it’s why I got the vision. A warning. We got lucky they didn’t know who I was when the vines grabbed us…”

Bane grabbed the mug and handed it to her. Serena took a sip then she went pale when an idea hit her. “Guys…what if that vessel isn’t the only one they are after…”

John nodded weakly and said “ya I think so. Just won’t be sleeping for a while…” Bane sat down by Serena and said “now, it seems we have a rescue mission in play. Someone is after the vessel of Apollo. But not in enough know how to see that had the vessel of Nyx here…”

Scarlet nodded and said “I see. So I guess if I want more answers to what’s going on I should follow you two. Would you guys mind another tagging along?” She leaned back in her chair and sighed. “They are following her…why?”
