Midnight shook her head and said “Nerves…sorry I can’t help it…” Bane chuckled and said “you truly are a mother hen aren’t you. He will be fine. Both of them will”

She sighed and stopped and sat by Scarlet and put her arm around the pixie. Iris was cursing softly as she tried get Dante’s bleeding under control.

Bane was checking the bag which was almost full and nodded. “Almost done mate. Just hang on a little bit longer…” he glanced over and asked “feeling light headed or dizzy”

Midnight had started pacing, not liking any of this. Iris was still working on Dante, the slow fight seeming to be working for good

Serena sat on the couch and smiled weakly at John who nodded. “You good?” She nodded and took a sip of the tea before John looked at Kay. “Well love, up to you when we head back”

Bane smiled and said “it’s already in mate. I may not be a doc but I’ve done enough in the field to know what I’m doing. Just hold on for me…I think a bag will be enough…”

Midnight was bouncing on her heels, clearly not liking using Matias like this. Her eyes were filled with concern and worry.

Iris was getting to Dante’s other wounds, her body shaking form the stress.

Midnight started to argue when Bane barked. “Enough! Boss, he is right. Your in no shape to give blood. Let Matias do it. Come here kid” he waved Matias over to him as he pulled out a needle kit from the med bag.

Midnight looked at Iris who said “they are right boss. You can’t take any more hits till that wound is healed”

Bane got everything set up and said “sit on the bed. If you get light headed tell me. You ready?”

Midnight frowned and said “no Matias. I can do this. Dante is in this mess because of me. I can do this”

Iris didn’t look up as she said “no. Just a needle in the arm. I don’t care who does it just decide. Because I’m going to lose him since he hasn’t fed in days. He needs blood now”

Iris sighed and wiped her face again. “If he were a breathing creature, I wouldn’t have a chance. The fact his dead technically that helps. We just have to get his body stable until his own healing can kick in. And he needs fresh blood. And I mean as fresh as we can get it”

Bane frowned and said “I can’t donate. My blood will make it worse. And Scsrlt you can’t either. Your fire in your blood might burn him”

Midnight was already rolling up her sleeve. “Let me do it. My powers won’t affect him”

Serena nodded weakly and said “that sounds like a good idea…let’s go” she stood up; taking her mug in her hands that seemed to have calmed now.

John nodded and muttered “I’ll have to get Chas on this…it seems there’s more about her we need to find out. Maybe that mage from last night was on to something…”
