Serena looked down as she moved the bowl, looking terrible now. John looked over and said “Serena your not a monster…I’m more of one because I was enjoying beating the crap out of that guy…you did it to protect her…”

Serena wiped her mouth with the towel, her eyes dark again.

Bane shook his head and said “John is sore but recovering, Serena seems to be not feeling her best right now…”

Bane nodded and Midnight said “I’m going to go change as well…”

Iris smiled weakly and said “thank you for your help…” she went over to Dante but her foot caught on a uneven board and she tripped, hitting the floor hard.

John nodded and said “we both kinda lost it…and that’s why we haven’t been totally ourselves…” John flinched at his chest ans closed his eyes a moment. Serena coughed again and said “my shadows took the mage…I let them end him…”

John sighed and said “well you know how last night went…getting attacked by plants and getting shot…and Kay saving the day with Bane. This morning…” he paused and glanced at Serena who kept her head down trying to pull herself together.

“A moron mage used a portal to grab Kay. Serena sensed it in time and we followed them thru. We found Kay…that son of a…he was trying to take her core. Take Fee. So I may have…” he paused and rubbed his neck then added “lost all sense and beat the crap out of him…” Serena sighed and said “it’s not as bad as what I did to him…”

Serena held her head as it swam again then suddenly grabbed the bowl and vomited into it, coughing afterward.

Bane nodded and said “yes but only for a few minutes. How are you feeling?”

Bane smirked and said “they can’t join since they are still in the service…but they can look into things…” he started to clean up and Midnight said “we have to give him a chance Matias…he is helping”

Iris frowned and said “not all creatures wear clothes…and no, it just changes depending on weather and nature conditions”

John sighed snd said “I meant from you…I know I made things worse at your place with Renee…I shouldn’t have come in…I hate making things worse for you mate…” he looked down at his bloodied hands. He was still covered in blood from the fight before and the beating now.

Serena sighed and said “light headed and I kinda want to throw up…and my chest is a little tight…”

Bane slipped into the room and sat down by her. “Easy Kay…nice and slow…”

John looked at him and said “am I about to get yelled at for leaving the house in the first place?” He tried to move more but flinched and cursed softly.

Serena sighed and Bane said above them “I have Kay covered. Just stay put Serena I mean it” Serena looked at John and said “stay put John…we can figure things over later…” she moved a little and started seeing spots. “Josh…”

John sat up a little, reading the note and frowning. “It seems tonight wasn’t supposed to go my way…our friend in the hood changed things…I don’t think I was supposed to walk away from that fight. But why? What could have made it end the other way…”

Serena looked at John and then said to Josh “I can handle it…I…” she swayed a little and had to lower her head, her head killing her.
