Trish smiled and nodded, picking up the bag of chips and starting to pour them out. Then said “the other person Serena saw…do you think the boy is Serena and joshs kid? That I become an aunty?”

Serena had to hold her hands to stop the shaking and stop shadows from flying around to hunt down this murderer. “Well then…that means we pay him a visit and see who hired him…he can’t be working alone…then we make sure he doesn’t hurt anyone else…” her eyes were glowing and she hadn’t noticed yet.

Trish nodded and said “at least your kid won’t go into the world of magic without help? I mean…look and me and josh? Everyone said I was crazy…and Josh had no idea what I was…still doesn’t…at least your daughter will have you guys and Chas and Serena to guide her…”

Serena looked at the keeper and kept her hands behind her back so she didn’t use her shadows by mistake. Then she asked “Who is Papa Midnight?”

Trish sat on the counter so she was out of the way for Kay when she asked “how are you doing with this kid thing? Feeling better about it?”

Serena stepped forward and held out the coin in the light, fighting not to use her shadows. It was a lot harder then she thought. “We found this at a scene of a fight. We were hoping you could tell us more about it”

Trish smiled softly and nodded. “Brownies sound good…I love baking…I used to do it all the time with mom…” she got up so Kay could and rubbed her eyes.

Serena nodded and followed behind him, looking around the shop with wide eyes as soon as hey made into the shop. “Whoa…”

Trish nodded, wiping her eyes and said “I just don’t want to be a burden to him…his done so much for me and given up so much…”

Serena opened the door and got out, shutting it behind her and pulling her coat closer to her chest. “Let’s go knocking…” she walked up to the door and checked to see if it was unlocked or open

Trish smiled and nodded. “Thank you Kay…I just worry if I’m holding Josh back…and where these gifts came from…and what if Josh has them too? I’m worried about so many things…” she lowered her head, tears resting on her eyes.

Serena climbed in and looked out the window, thinking. Then she looked at the coin and muttered “how does this all tie together…”

Trish sat on the bed to keep John warm and said after a while “Kay…am I a freak?”

Serena nodded as she walked back and said “o wasn’t planning on it. I don’t talk about Bane unless I really have too…”

Scarlet nodded and said “all I know is the target is files and heavy guarded ones. And old. I have sealed boxes to protect the paper…”

Bane shook his head and said “your my second on this. Your the one with most skilled background when it comes to this. I need you jumping in where you see we are lacking…” just then the door opened and a red haired man walked in, looking pissed. He walked over and pulled his hat off.

“Sorry I’m late. I got stopped three times. For my eye color…seriously? What are the cops looking for right now?” Bane smiled and said “here for the party Dante…don’t worry your not late”

Trish held it in her hands and she said “I feel warmth from it…and light…I think your right that there is more to this then it seems…” she handed it back carefully, knowing it was special to her. “You should check the book”

Serena frowned a little then said “alright…but let’s not bring up what Kay is around this guy. Just to be safe. Who knows who could be listening…”

Trish looked at her and asked “I’m sure they are. My brother is smart and Serena is too. And Uncle Chas knows his way around this world better then anyone. What do you wonder?”
