Serena nodded then looked back at John and said “so we hope for the best then. And now that we know that we have to keep me and Kay from going dark to keep the future in tact I think will help…” she rubbed her face, looking wiped out.

John nodded and tried to sit up more. “Now…we figure out who that demon is and why his after Bane so bad…”

John slowly sat up enough to take the meds and the water then said weakly “is the kid okay? Did it work?”

Serena smiled and stood, walking back over and said “okay…what do we do now? Is the threat to the future over now that Bane is back with me?” John shook his head and said “we won’t know…the kids can’t go back and forth…”

John groaned again and opened his eyes. “Oh…what did I hit…my neck is killing me…” Serena looked over and said “get some ice on his neck to keep swelling down” she knelt by Drake and checked him over, a frown on her lips.

“He might be out for a while. The stress of the injury and that spell might have been too much for his mind. We will need to keep an eye on him…”

Serena let her do her thing then felt the spot again and nodded. “Yep you got it. Nicely done.” John groaned softly and turned his head weakly.

Serena moved and said “now let’s go check on Drake and then we can figure out what to do now” she stood up and then saw Drake passed out on the couch. “Fia? How is he?”

Serena felt it again and then said “right where the neck meets the shoulder. It’s just a little out of place. A gentle pressure will get it back. You have a gentle touch. Chas? Can you come hold him in place? Kay I’ll hold his head”

Serena was checking Johns neck and spine as she said “Kay can you help me lay him flat. I feel something off with his neck but I think you can heal that easy. Just needs to be pushed back into place but it will break if I do it with my hand”

Drake was breathing softly now, already getting his color back.

Serena nodded after she checked his stats and said “his weak and worn but I think he will be alright. Just needs to rest and heal. Stay with him I need check John” she jumped up and moved to Kay and looked John over. She said “don’t move him let me check his neck and back…I think he hit the railing…” John groan again, trying to open his eyes as Serena examined him.

Trish looked at josh and said “you okay?”

Serena jumped over as the shadows fell back into place and Serena rolled Drake over. His skin was back to normal and his wounds gone. She checked his eyes and sighed. “His clear guys. It worked. I think his going to be out for a while though.” She picked him up and slipped him back onto the couch, checking the rest of his vitals.

Trish looked at josh and said “it’s okay now bro”

John groaned softly, his head bleeding a little where his hit. He was okay just knocked around a bit and drained from the spell use

Serena held onto Josh and muttered “please let this work…” Trish nodded and said “make sure no one is behind John…”

John was chanting the spell, the bowl glowing now as the aura filled the room. Suddenly the bowls contents came out and turned into a gas form, John pushing it to Drake who was white and his eyes demon red now. The gas floated down and wrapped around Drake like a cocoon, becoming webbing and glowing gold. John moved to check his work but then suddenly thru his hand back.

Serene reacted as the webbing exploded and threw her shadows up and wrapped around the watchers. But John was hit straight on and sent flying across the room, slamming into the far wall and hitting the stairs hard. The light faded and Drake was on the floor, unconscious

Serena was wiping drakes face and she looked at John who smiled and said “I got this love…I promise. He is going to be alright” Serena sighed and kissed drake’s forehead then moved to stand with the others, tears in her eyes.

John then poured the water in the bowl and last part the Angel essence. Once it was all in the bowl it started to glow white and John started saying the spell on the page, his eyes glowing as he did so.
