Dante chuckled and shook his head. “No my dear friend. Just checking in. I haven’t seen you yet. Go get some sleep”

Beta was watching the group closely and said “why does death have to be the end?”

Dante glanced at the wolf and raised an eyebrow. “Pardon? Umm, my lady who is your new friend?” Beta barked and wagged his tail. “I’m beta! I’m a shadow soul. I took the form of a wolf since my master is linked to nature. My question was about why must death be what parts you? I mean, my lady is linked to her parents still and one has been dead for a time and the other has been locked away…but they still support her?”

Ash finished her plate and stood. “Okay are you boys happy now?” Bane looked over and nodded. “Indeed. Now we can go find the boss and see what she would like us to take care of”

Ash sighed but nodded, not liking having to handle things like a child, both men watching her closely.

Ash frowned but went back to eating as Bane was deep in thought. Now it was making sense. He was a turned fang. Not common in this time period but it happened.

Dante took Astras hand and kissed the top of it. “I don’t mind waiting. I’ve been around this long. And my brothers I know feel the same. Right Peter?”

That’s when he looked around and said “is Jacob sleeping?”

Deadpool moved behind Banner and was digging in a box. Then he came back with rubber gloves and slipped them on. He then moved into Maddie’s sight view and started to speak. “Alright my dear, you get to view into the mind of Deadpool.”

Then he went into a show of the many conversations he has had in his own head. Using the insane voice, the logic voice, and his own. Banner stared at Wade, stunned.

Wolf smiled and said “that’s Bruce’s butler. He raised Bruce when his parents were killed. Alfred. He is a great guy. A grandfather type. But he kicks butt. Once Batman was infected with this virus and Alfred took him down in three moves”

Deadpool nodded and said “if it helps you can hold my hand during it. Just don’t look at the needle and you will be fine. Then we can check on Trevor and see if his okay enough to go sleep in a guest room too”

Wolf smiled and moved to pull out her cell. Now it was just for holding images and info since it wouldn’t work here. She opened it up and showed him Batman and Robin. Then of Bruce Wayne and Alfred.

Deadpool put a hand on her shoulder and said “don’t worry kiddo, these guys know what they are doing. Now, Strange? What’s next on our to do list? How’s wolf doing?”

Wolf moved over to him, placing the pictures in his hands. “Thank you for not giving up on me Dad…” she sat by him then said “well what do you want to know? To start?”

Deadpool said “sorry I have a song stuck in my head and I can’t get it out…bye bye bye…” he tilted back and forth as they got back to the lab and saw the others. “Hey guys! Is it a meeting of the smart people?” Banner smirked a little.

Then said “Strange, want to get blood and stuff from Riza? I think you’ll be faster so she can get a nap with her dad…”

Wolf took them carefully, studying the details with her fingers. “Man my brain was close but not perfect…she is way prettier…you really don’t age do you?” She smiled at him. “Did…you think…I was dead this whole time?”

Wade nodded and said "Good thinking kiddo. We can stop by Trevor's room as well and check how he is doing" He hummed as they walked back down the hallway, some song lyrics popping out as he danced a bit.

Bruce said "And from the report strange gave...I want to make sure you are clean of anything that could have come back with you..."

Wolf smiled and slipped them back into place. Then she took a deep breath. "Can...I mean...do you have a picture of my mother?"
