A limit to caliber or bullet weight would be nice too, since otherwise, one could also just bring in a shotgun with a 200 millimeter barrel, firing a shitton of pellets at once - pretty much the equivalent of a machine gun.

Could just make it so Shotguns have to be pump loaded or whatever the term is for a shotgun you have to cock everytime you want to shoot it, that way you get one good shot.
No and probably.

It was basically an 'off camera' tournament, basically made up for the sake of giving DJ a reason to write it. I've done it before, hence the first letter from Alphonse.

Ah, fair enough.

There actually was a WOTW tournament recently, I don't really know what happened to it though it just self-combusted in the second round and my opponent left and everyone RQ.
Bloody hell, did I fall asleep for a year and miss an entire tournament?
Now, I suppose I need to do something with DJ's WOTW post.

You people wanna see it? Lol

Eh? Dunno what you're on about.
I had sex with a dead gurl . . .

This is why Forsoff was the best character.

I forgot about that weird Necromancer sub-plot.
Mostly, I will make a firearm evaluation based on the firearm in question. There may be minor tweaks if anything for balance. Well that settles it then. Melon is in.

If you're open to requests on tweaks, I'd really like to see firearms limited in terms of either capacity or firing speed, I think it provides the perfect balance without negating the many advantages guns still give you, rather it just increases their weak-points to make it more suitable for a 1v1 duel.

I figure that's why people stopped duelling with guns after it went from single shot pistols to assault rifles.

It's your tournament though, that's just what I'd like to see so we still have a good chance of seeing some interesting fantasy characters that don't have to be bullet proof to stand a chance.
What people don't know is that Forsoff's actual power was actual random probability manipulation.

Secret magic is the best magic. He was actually carrying around the Luck of the Dwarves ability all that time.

Giant. Not ogre, if I so recall.

And My character did fight, just the tank (you) did not do your job well.

Hey, Forsoff rekt two skeletons and then stopped when he realised everyone around him was standing around doing nothing. You can't blame the guy for doubting his sanity after some of the weird scenarios we got into.
Works for me, that should keep things relatively balanced.

I assume firearms are going to be unrestricted?

Well, like I said I don't feel like I deserve to be some sort of end game boss, so I'd rather just join the tournament and have the same chance of winning it all as everyone else.
Anna’s supernatural senses were still barely enough to warn her of the incoming projectile, and she might very well have been struck then and there had it not been for the simple fact that she wasn’t the target. Flying straight past her a spear of energy hurtled towards Tordor, who would have to act quickly if he wanted to survive the strike.

For her own part, Anna looked around at Bita furiously, how dare she start attacking people for no good reason. The inherent hypocrisy in such thoughts lost on the Irish Wraith, Anna waltzed over to Bita to give her a piece of her mind, water dripping from her soaked clothes and leaving wet footprints on the ground as she went, she was neither running nor walking exactly, but rather fast-walking over to the angry little woman. As she passed she waved her hand, sending a splashing wave of water over at the young girl called Shining Blaze. It was only designed to sweep her off her feet and push her away from the fight so she wouldn’t get hurt, as Anna raised her same hand in a pointing finger.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Anna asked Bita angrily, her brow furrowed as her mouth stuck in a disapproving frown. It hadn’t dawned on the Wraith that she might be waltzing into the middle of what could be a deadly response from Tordor. However the line of sight was still open for him to engage Bita directly so he had no reason to strike Anna from behind unless he wanted to.
