The rain crashed around the team, Miyako taking notice to Sakana's ankle - but it appeared Koko was already in the lead of taking care of it. She wasn't a medical ninja anyways, she wouldn't have been able to do much but recite some information she had read and retained from some medical book. Though, she could think of a few things she kept to herself and turned her attention over to Shinji. Who was taking initiative in trying to find refuge from the downfall of rain. "Good job," Whether he thought he was doing this out of his own will, or subconsciously from Miyako's previous suggestion - the small pat on the back would suffice. Looking towards the house - at first glance looked to be abandoned and withered away from years of lack of attention. Her focused on all the clones as they scoured the place, if something were inside it possibly would have already attacked one, or a clone would hopefully of already sensed it. She didn't want to go to the this perfectly placed abandoned house next to their crash site, it was what horror movies were made of. But, they needed to get out of the rain, regroup, and depart farther into the unknown. "Lets move forward to the house, dry off, and plan from there". Grabbing the bottom of Kimono that was becoming heavier and heavier from the rain, she was the first to move forward towards the housed.
The closer she got the more it seemed like a decent idea - but she should know better than to judge a book by its cover. The rain seemed to of cleaned any immediate dust from the outside, but it was still tattered and torn, small pieces of rubble laid around it, but no fresh marks or signs of new arrivals. Climbing up the steps to the front door, Miyako looked behind her to see three figures in the rain behind her, it seemed despite if it was a good idea or not - her team was following her. Good. She could already tell that later one it may be hard to manage everyone as they all were headstrong in doing what they felt necessary. But she was more a guide on this trip, not the enforcer of rules. What rules do you play by in the unknown anyways? Reaching the door, Miyako peered inside a window to see....nothing. It was dark in the first room - which to her was a good sign of it still being abandoned. Though the trip further inside may reveal a different outcome. Dropping the bottoms of her Kimono, and reaching inside the sleeves she revealed her two bladed fans that went with her whole gothic girl aesthetic. Black my eyes and slight my wrists kind shit, yanno? Anyways, the sound of them opening up was comparable to that of her katana unsheathing - a nice and light metal against metal sound. It always sent a small chill through her, as she anticipated anything that was to come. Slowly, the door pushed open with the force of one fan - keeping the other ready for a quick strike if need be. Nothing. Bleak. Dark. Her eyes squinted fiercely as she tried to see into the dark, the clouds outside bore no extra sunlight to help her see inside. Taking the first few steps inside, she kept her fans ready in front of her as her head snapped back to see that her team was close behind.
"It appears to be safe..." She called out to them, then looking to Shinji - "Did your clones find anything from the outside? She came back to the doorway, standing and waiting for each team member to enter. Her gaze focused out on the land that lay beneath the house - her eyes shifting to the smoldering wreck that was their VTOL only moments ago. Smoke rising high in the air, she could only hope that whatever or whoever was around would assume nobody survived the wreck and pick through the wreckage than move on. One could only hope.

It appeared the consensus was in and she was given the spot as Team Leader - but for some reason, her gut slightly tightened upon receiving this position. With the realization sinking in she had little to no knowledge of what was to unfold in front of them, Miyako would begin to feel nervous looking forward. The curse of bearing knowledge consistently, was the burden of not having it when needed. Her rising nerves were halted by Sakana asking to be put on the front lines - her face remained unchanged as he revealed what laid under his vest. Nodding in agreement - "I already had in mind to have you there..." she spoke to him softly, her attention then turned back to thinking. Starting to replay the brief in her mind over and over again, she would seem to awaken from this trance inside the VTOL. Her head panned over to see that everyone had promptly taken a seat at an adjacent window from the other member - Shinji's eyes were closed, appearing to be asleep.. 'I wonder how long we've been in the air'. Next to Sakana, his eyes skimming the ground beneath them as the VTOL soared above the town.. 'What should we do upon landing...'. Her eyes lastly came to Koko - 'I have to ensure we all return..but that is a promise I cannot ke--'
"Anyone else feel like this is a suicide mission?" interrupted her already bleak thoughts. Her eyes met Sakan's for a mere moment, before turning back out to the window, the rain caressing the window so heavily it almost appeared to be melting from the outside.
An alarming crunching sound arose from somewhere in the cabin, Miyako sat up and looked around cautiously as did all her teammates. Her eyes darted back outside the cabin window as she tried to stare past the rain into what laid below them. Emergency lights then began to flash blindingly in the cabin, she sat towards the edge of her seat as the VTOL was now beginning to descend at a roaring rate. 'Miyako, shoot me to the ground' It was clear he already had a plan before she was able to form one, she quickly calculated the idea in her head and nodded. Rising and following him to the door that was now sliding open, allowing rain to begin to coat the inside of the VTOL. "Okay, the rain is heavy - I'll use a bit more force to ensure it doesn't slow you down, be ready..." Miyako sternly stated, making him aware he'd need to assert his body more forecefully. Standing behind him, she clasped her hands together - air compressing in her palms building up strength as rapidly and effectively as she could. Her arms would then extend forward to Sakana, palsm open and he quickly disappeared from sight through the wall of rain.
Turning her attention to the rest of her cell, she barked "GO!" Shinji was already on his way out the door - making a slide for himself, her face in dropped slight irritation for just acting. Then again, death was staring them right in the face - she just took the role to ensure their death wouldn't be before hers. It would be after Koko jumped that Miyako would follow suit, briefly stalling as she grabbed her Omamari's and closed her eyes for a quick prayer - finally her feet left the metal and she was weightless. This was nothing new for the wind adapted being, a sense of comfort almost enveloped her for the first time upon leaving. As she began her rapid descent, squinting through the rain she could barely see Koko beneath her. Miyako began to release small balls of air into the arches of her feet to cushion the meeting of the ground. Quickly, an attempt to send a small ball of air from her hands to Koko was made to do the same - unaware that she too was Futon user. But, she would come to learn this sooner rather than later.
The torrential downpour of rain quickly soaked into her kimono, causing it to gain a few more pounds. It didn't do much in hindering her movement though. The ground then momentarily shook after they all landed - as the VTOL finally met with it. Miyako turned over her shoulder to see the smolder of it behind them - surely the pilots didn't survive. Pieces of the VTOL flew throughout the air, landing in all directions, even around the team. A small metal piece landed with a loud thud near Miyako, looking to it she could make out one number. Her eyes widened, and stomach dropped, 9 How did she not see this before? If she had, she probably would have asked for another VTOL. "Kutsuu..." Her lips parted upon breathing this word - Pain. Shooting her hands up into the air, for less than 30 seconds, Miyako made a small umbrella of wind over the team and herself. Everyone was now in view, "Is everyone alright? Any injuries?" She called out to everyone - it would be after they all answered that she would drop the faux umbrella and rain would come crashing down on the individuals again. As she know could see everyone position, Miyako would make her way towards everyone - trying to keep her demeanor calm. The good luck charm from this morning was now cancelled out by this stroke of bad luck. She breathed in as deeply as she could without sucking in any of the rain that was gushing down her face, trying to calm herself with deep breaths. "Can anyone see anything? Perhaps shelter? We are too exposed out here without any idea of what is around us".

It was momentary that her attention was focused onto Shinji, but it quickly shifted to the newest arrival and final member of their team - Koko. Her gaze traced the girl up and down, taking in her disposition, short introduction - nice. This sat well with Miyako, hopefully communication between the two would be easy and said within as few words as possible. Miyako retained her imperturbable demeanor, as the girl introduced herself - a small bow of the head in her direction. "Very nice to meet you as well, Koko. I am Kurosawa, Miyako" She stated, and promptly turned her attention to Sakana that was now spouting off about Koko's name, it brought one side of her mouth to raise in a cheeky smirk, but quickly dropped as it didn't humor her all that much. Then he began to drill into the nameless Shinobi, Shinji, Miyako keeping silent as he did.
Her attention stuck to Sakana, as he began talk of them needing a leader. Miyako being that of a bit of a submissive being - initially had no thought in stepping forward. But it was good that someone, namely Sakana, had stepped forward to go ahead and establish this dynamic. 'Better this happen now, than on the battlefield,' she somberly thought to herself, only imagining the worse to come from it being decided too late. As these thoughts entranced her, it would be Shinji's sermon that broke the chain of thought. Her eyes drifted to his face as he spoke, her hands still folded in her lap neatly - face still holding that of the most unimpressed being in the world. Miyako listened to him speak, nodding a few times - another sigh escaping her lips. It seemed this was her sign of being in deep thought, or frustration. Now that both Shinji, and Sakana had both declared they had no interest in being leader - Miyako found this to be a step in the wrong direction and now would step forward.
Rising elegantly from her seat and standing alongside Sakana, she looked to each member slowly "Koko, Shinji, Sakana....if there are no objections - I have no qualms in proposing the idea of myself as leader of this team. I believe it will be fruitful for us all to be within good standings of each other - despite our background." Side eyeing Sakana with this statement. "We are all here for the same end goal... I believe" her eyes stuck between to the two Kiri associates. "But, it would be within our best interest to work together and communicate effectively if we are to succeed. To come back alive," note she didn't say anything about friendship. Miyako believed friendship wasn't a key into carrying out a lucrative misson. It was communication, and trust. Her words were carried by a very dry and dull tone, it could've been more uplifting had she maybe smiled or changed to a chirpier approach. But she wanted to bypass any small talk and get to the point of figuring out what Sakana had started.
Her hands now lifted, folding into each sleeve of her kimono - eyes closing with a swift breath in, then out. "What do I bring to the table?" Miyako asked herself to the team, her eyes opening and moving from each member again, "I am part of the Intel Division in the Military.... I was hand selected due to my memory, with that being said - I am able to retain a majority of everything I read, even hear. I believe with what knowledge I have gained from what has been gathered and hypothesized - I will have some higher ground than most in helping to influence our decision making. It is with this, and my hope for a fluid moving cell - that I will nominate myself". With this speech, she again looked to each of her peers - Her focus resting on Koko. Speaking directly at the Kunoichi "It is only if you wish to lead this team - then I will not argue....But, I must ask the same question as Sakana. What is that you bring to the table?"
The conversation was stifled quickly, as the meeting began - Miyako turned attention to the screen displayed in front them then took her seat. Hands again folding in her lap, prim and proper. They would have to discuss further the inner workings of their company after the presentation. Her eyes darted across the screen, in tandem listening to the booming voice elaborating further on the pictures. "I remember reading about him..." Miyako muttered, possibly to be heard by another - but desired no response. All of the information being presented was probably overwhelming to most, but Kuro's eyes did not leave the screen. Any sounds of idle chit chat from around them did not break her concentration as she followed along intently. As quickly as it started, the meeting was adjourned - Miyako wasting no time to jump back to prior engagements."Unless any of you have any questions about what was just said - I suggest we get back to Sakana's question, and decide the leader. Like it was stated, we will have little to no communication back home. Before we even step foot back outside the VTOL, we must decide this. Decide a course of action in the event of an altercation, who will be our offense, our defense...". This could all be settled inside the VTOL - Miyako rose out of her seat and stared at her team members, "Shall we?"
@bladess4@mesuokami@schadenfreude let's make it our personal objective to be as active and fast posting as we can. Team Sakana.. I mean.. team 4 gonna be the best.
The news had almost come as a surprise that she would be heading off to Ame. From what the Kunoichi had read and heard, it wasn't exactly somewhere she ever cared to find herself. But for the Nation, she would gladly serve and give her life to help aid in the success of its growth. Miyako rubbed her Omamari's between her fingers at the VTOL craft landed, her expression remained blank and unsurprised by the massive vessel that would carry her to Ame. Her eyes shifted from each face of the Shinobi's that would be traveling with her to Ame, her mind began to wander on who she would cross paths with again - who would be sent home in the VTOL alive or dead. But these thoughts didn't loom over her, concerned with only her own well being for the moment. It wouldn't be till she was in a squad that she would begin to care about the misfortune of others.
As the craft landed, the chosen ones were ushered in - Miyako acquiring a window seat, she gracefully folded her hands in her lap as her attention turned to look out the window. The buildings were suddenly becoming the size of small hills as the craft soared up and away to their destination. The trivial chattering of her possible future comrades reached her ears, but she fell short of any conversation as she began to reminisce on any and all information pertaining to Village they would soon be arriving at. Her brain was like a rolodex, circling through random pieces of information she could pull from her memories. Her attention turned back to the window as rain began to pitter patter quietly, the clouds looming over head left an ominous feeling rising in her gut. They had arrived.
She grabbed for her Luck Talisman and rubbed it in between her fingers - the landing was smooth, and the door smoothly slid open. Attendants were parked outside to shuttle every arriving passenger to their rooms, and make light of their arrival to this gloomy village. "What a dreadful place..." She murmured as she exited the craft, her face turning to that of disgust as the foul air reached her nostrils. She placed her kimono sleeve over her nose and lower face - a feeble attempt at keeping the smell at bay. "Kurosawa, Miyako?" A voice called out to her, she turned and met eyes with a young man - "Follow me please". Keeping her arm raised to her face, she followed him obediently. He would try to make small talk with her, but it was a feeble attempt on his part. Her mind began to wander, and absorb what it could as they walked along towards her room for the night.
One day later..

As the sun rose, so did the Kunoichi - or at least she assumed it was rising through the rainclouds. The dead of the night became a bit brighter, but all the while the Village still retained a mundane feel to it. Feelings of nervousness slightly filled her body, only because she was unsure of what was to unfold at this meeting. Miyako stared around the rather large room she was placed in, it didn't impress her all too much. Except to wonder why her village would spend the extra coin to have their Shinobi and Kunoichi's in such comforting rooms. It left her to come to the conclusion that this mission may be more rigorous than she imagined, tho the comfortable nights sleep was appreciated. She ate a filling breakfast, and followed a similar routine to most - a shower, and then putting her attire together. What took the longest was combing out her long coal hair, but once she felt it was satisfactory, she rose and began to inspect the room of anything she could be forgetting. Nope. Nothing.
Miyako began to walk out of her room, but a small mobile spot on the wall caught her attention - her eyes shimmered with excitement at the baby spider that crawled along the wall to the corner of the ceiling. She gave a small bow, as an actual thin lipped smile appeared on her slender ghostly face. "Ah, such a symbol of fortune to of been bestowed upon me this morning..." Miyako hummed, she took her talismans in her hand and let out a relaxed, and relieved breath. The dreadful feeling that had filled her gut upon arriving was now to slowly dissipate with the good luck symbol that greeted her this morning. She watched the small spider crawl along the wall, and departed from her room - though her face wouldn't show it, she was beaming with confidence for what was to come.

It would be only mere minutes that she would arrive after Sakana, having to go through the same process as every other attendee and receiving a seat number. She thanked the correspondent after receiving her 'ok' to proceed. Folding her arms into her kimono, Miyako made her way through the gushing crowd quickly, to get away from any needless chatter that could arise. Miyako made eye contact with the young black eyed boy that was going to be seated next to her, she gave him a small bow. "Uragiri, Sakana - a pleasure to be alongside you," as if the boy needed his full name recited to him, it was a small way for her to affirm information into that library of a brain. She took a seat next to him, removing her hands from her kimono, resting them in her lap neatly. "I believe we will be successful in whatever is to come" she commented, leaving it at that. Very seldom few shared the same beliefs that she did, and it wasn't within her interest to ever elaborate on it, unless she was asked. The two could possibly be mistaken as sharing a blood relation, even the way they carried themselves seemed to be one in the same. She remembered reading his file one day back in Iwa, being of the Intelligence Division, she was introduced to a wide array of files and tales. Miyako was familiar with what the Shinobi was capable of, but not of who he was. The only thing she could hope for was a cell that would be able to communicate, and execute the task at hand appropriately.
The chatter that filled the room played alongside the feeling of anticipation - as many mouths sparked conversations of what was to come from this meeting. One's self could be riddled with anxiety as the emotion of the room seemed to surge from excitement, to nervousness. Miyako detached herself from the emotions that were circulating as the universe had sent her a sign of a fruitful mission - she felt she had no need to worry. Her focus was now turned onto the newcomer that approached Sakana. Staring the Shinobi up and down, she began to form her first opinion of him - and then nodded as they met eyes. "Kurosawa, Miyako - I will be apart of your team as well," She spoke to the boy firmly, "Nice to meet you...?" Her eyes stuck to his face as she waited for him to introduce himself, her hands still perfectly folded in her lap as she spoke to him.

【Appearance/Wardrobe】 Consistently dressed in black - the young maiden will typically be seen in a black kimono withnwhite and very light brown tones to accompany the dreary look. She keeps the bottom part of her Kimono looser than usual as to aid in her mobility when it comes to fighting. Now to accompany the midnight kimono, is her long and straight coal colored hair. Her eyes seems to mimic this trend, resulting in a deep grey. As if it were to get any more depressing, her porcelain skin only contrasts all of these black and grey tones. Leaving the girl to almost appear as a sickly being, but its quiet the opposite as she is regularly found somewhere not caged in with 4 walls. Even on her days off, the Kunoichi is found wearing deeper, and darker tones of any and every color. Burgundy seeming to be her second favorite color to place on her body.
She usually keeps a small fannypack-esque bag attatched around her waist, and resting on her back - as to store basic ninja tools, and a small comb. Traditional Japanese sandals will always be found on her rather small feet. Miyako stands at a staggering height of 5'5", and weighing in at a hefty 120 pounds.
In life.... Miyako seems to wear a constant unenthusiastic look, her blank stare can be taken for someone trying to constantly understand the world around her. But in reality, she finds herself to be bored by everything around her. Friendships are far and few in between for the girl, she isn't opposed to spending time with someone, but Miyako prefers her time to be spent alone. She is never one to go out of her way to be hostile, until negative energy is presented to her from another being. She seems to follow the 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you', way of life. Miyako is very tight lipped with her relationships, and acquaintances, seeming to always have few words for any conversation. Outside of missions, or battles - she doesn't trust very easily. Obviously more at ease with those she has worked alongside and views them at some kind of worth in her life.
In war.... Coming down to a mission, she seems to carry the same type of stern attitude into the battle field as she has at home. Though it is noticeable she becomes more headstrong when it comes to being in a squad, and is more talkative. As she believes that team work is very important, and believes trust and communication is a key factor in carrying a mission out successfully. She has been known to butt heads with her insistent opinions on how to effectively carry out a mission. Though, if she truly trusts the squad leader - she is more submissive and will give little input. Miyako believes no one should be left behind, and will do her best to ensure her comrades see a mission through to the end.
In love.... Miyako has no interest in any kind of romantic relations with anyone for the time being. Growing up with a single mother, whom she never saw receive love from another. The idea of it had never been implanted, and to her - she can bear a fruitful life alone just as her mother has. Of course, meandering through life she has seen the joy others seem to have of being in 'love', and enjoying the time and company of another. Miyako believes that there could possibly be someone out there to help her explore this avenue, and understand it more - but for now, she is not actively looking or concerned for that matter. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【History】
Born on the outskirts of Iwa in the still of a late winter night, Miyako made her debut appearance into the world. The girl would live her whole life without ever knowing even the name of her father. Let alone what he looked like. She could only pick apart pieces of what he may look like, comparing herself against her mother - but her mothers genes seemed to of dominated her exterior; so it was rather hard to ever come up with an idea of what he may look like. Aside from this small piece of, what some could consider, a minor inconvenience in ones life, Miyako grew up a rather normal life inside of Iwa. Her mother worked hard to support the two, they lived barely scraping by all the time. Miyako would constantly be left home alone, whilst her mother was out trying to make ends meat for the two of them. It wouldn't be till Miyako was only a few years older around the age of 10 that she would begin to realize the rigorous work schedule of her mother - and decide to find a way to work as soon as possible.
Being left to her own devices at home regularly, she picked up reading, and practicing Taijutsu as a way to keep herself busy in the passing hours waiting for her mothers return. She became very self sufficient as a child, learning to cook, mend broken items, and more at a young age. She wouldn't begin to start leaving the house during the day till she was a bit older, around 10/11, then she would begin to quietly sit on the side lines and watch the world's passerby's. Trying to understand proper communication to make friends, and not live her life as a complete shut in. Reading about all this in books only made her want to venture more, but as she was placed into the academy, and had minor altercations with other girls. Miyako decided her life was best lived in solitude, away from friendships - only acquaintances. Only truly enjoying the company of her mother.
Within the Academy, it was shown her Chakra Nature was Futon - but during her years there she also seemed to have a small affinity for Doton. Though she did not focus on it, and a large portion of the time only relies on Futon as her Chakra Nature. She excelled in class, and all of the written work, and tests - as well as slightly sticking out as an above average Kunoichi with a promising future. How easily she floated by in the Academy was noticed by her classmates, and with her silent personality - many assumed she thought of herself greater than the others. When really she just enjoyed keeping her mouth shut, and learning what she could from the teacher, and future Sensei. It was also discovered in the Academy, that the real reason Miyako was able to maintain a perfect score in her written work, was that she had a photographic memory. Only having to look at something once, even if for a few moments - and she could recall it again perfectly merely minutes, hours, and days later. She seemed to have the memory of an elephant, and could easily recite someone's past comments back to them verbatim. With this semi-incredible gift, as soon as she graduated the Academy, and passed her Chunin and Jonin exams, she was labeled as a Tokubetsu Jonin. Usually sent on missions that required the teams to pay great attention to detail, and because she could easily retrieve anything from her memory, she was seen as a viable and useful figure. A "Walking Library", as some would refer to her as.
It was also at the start of the academy, that Miyako would practice and perfect the art of Traditional Fan Dancing. Performing for the wealthier in the community, and earning a living off of that. Her earnings did not go to her, but her mother - as to help ease her out of the strenuous hours of work she had been living with for years. With the practice and perfection of these dances, and techniques and the discovery of her Futon Chakra Nature - Miyako realized she could combine the two and excel on the battlefield with the use of her fans, and fluid movements.
As Miyako made a name for herself in the Empire of Stone, she soon joined the Military, and was immediately placed into the Intelligence Division. Though she proved worthy on the battlefield. It was her mind, and memory they really sought after. Miyako was seen as someone who would be able to gather, and retain new data for the up and coming mission that would soon hit the nations as they joined forces.

The Clan Compound is built in between a few high standing smaller mountains, the highest point being built into the incline of a mountain and slightly rising above the rest, this is where the Clans Main Hall, to the West of that is another large building but not comparable to the Main Compound, it is the Head of the Clans Residence. Spread around and between these two are the homes of the civilians, though these two building do sit higher than the rest of the town. The center of the Clan Compound is composed of the school and training grounds – where anyone can willfully walk by and see the training sessions. Around the Clan Compound are very thin, decently made metal sheets serving as walls around the compound – which in later generations will be remade into thicker more substantial walls and provide a better sense of security.

Of course filled with every normal room a civilian house holds plus more. The home is adorned inside with rich materials, and small relics of history from the Clan overtime. It sits higher than the rest of the compound, but flush with the Main Hall. A underground tunnel connects the two. There is also an area located out back amongst the gardens for training.

Pre-Ninshu ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Before the creation of Ninshu and the rise of Ninjutsu and other shinobi arts.
It would be after the meeting of two uniquely talented individuals that the !! Clan was formed. The leader being Jūkōtetsu Akane – a fierce Warrior trained under father, pridefully taking after him in his gracious ability to wield a sword. Then there was Nobou, a very respected blacksmith who was known for his critical craftwork, creating a perfect weapon every time. The two met by fate, and history began to write itself from that point forward.
It would be during this time that the clan was settle into a mountain range in the Rekkai Providence, and set begin to build their compound in a smaller mountain range that almost completely surrounded the compound – a metal wall would be put up in effort to seal off the remaining open spot. The Jūkōtetsu Clan would begin to slowly build its militia, but the trading and selling of weaponry would outmatch this – and the clan would soon become known throughout the Land of Fire for its high quality produced weapons. Clans would send members out to the Jūkōtetsu Compound frequently to make these deals, so this kept the clan busy with work. It was during this time that Akane saw how much foot action was being had, and the frequency of visitors – that’s he began to realize they had something others could want. So the Academy for the Jūkōtetsu Warriors was produced, and she would begin the start of her militia.
The Clan largely ignored the Sage of Six Paths, and his sons – this being through Nobou’s asking. As he only saw it could be a distraction to the rising of the Clan, and wanted them to do nothing with oracles. Akane, on the other hand, was interested, but this would peak during Ninshu. Aside from the becoming the biggest outsource of weaponry Pre-Ninshu, the Clean was also efficient at creating a self-sustaining living environment. Due to Nobou training, and creating many more talented Blacksmiths, the clan’s compound quickly grew in size, each new addition to the compound being built rather quickly and through generations always upgraded. Every building eventually through time would be adorned with steel plates, this earning the Compound and Clan the nickname of “The Village Forged of Steel”.
Age of Ninshu ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The period of time where the Rikudō no Shinsen introduced Ninshu to the world.
It would become during the age of Ninshu that the Clan would prosper in many ways -the trading and selling of weapons seemed to be at an all time high. The Clan’s army was skilled, and very effective during any turmoil that arose during this time. Word had spread through the Land of Fire of the strict and secure code the Warriors lived under, but none seemed to protest it. That being due to the fact that death would follow any that dared speak out or stepped out of line. Akane was the prominent leader, with Nobou at her side for everything. But it would also be around the this time that Nobou would take a fall from grace, and his life would end due to an unknown illness that befell him. Where lies death, also lies birth – and Akane would soon find out what she was left behind with one last gift from Nobou. A child.
With him gone and no longer there to be her voice of reasoning – there would be a great shift in the Clan and it would become over run with a hunger for more power. Nobou kept her away from the Sage of Six Paths and his sons, but now Akane wanted to find them. It didn’t matter who directly, she wanted to be know if she could harness this power that was being whispered about through the Land of Fire. Around the time she desired to take a leave of absence from the village to find what she desired, it would land right into her lap as one of Asura’s trusted companions visited the village to spread the teaching. Akane would gleefully, and greedily obtain all the knowledge she could – and then pass the teachings down to her more skilled Warriors.
Though, unfortunate to Akane, she did not have an affinity to Ninjutsu. Also having to take a break in her teachings to give birth to the future Clan leader, her son, Jūkōtetsu Norio. Akane still attempted in perfecting the craft of her chakra control and flow, learning that she could send it to her weapon to strengthen it. It would be Norio, that would gain the affinity for a light use of Ninjutsu, be adept in her skills and dance of weaponry, and he even had a gift of forging. Everything would come natural to him, and he would be the greatest figure of the Clan to live.
Sengoku Jidai ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Warring Clan Period
Unfortunately for Norio, his mother left to him one last parting gift that didn’t transcend through the land in a positive light. She was sending Warriors out to visit villages for weeks on end, monitoring the youth and abducting them – bringing them to the Academy, and training the children to build herself a better army. Alas, cruel fate over took Akane in the coming years to the Senogku Jidai era, and she befell an illness -leaving her at death’s door. It would then be up to Norio to clean up the mess his mother made, as he did not have the same views as her when it came to training the youth. He was a bit more lax in his views towards the code, but still upheld it to ensure a functioning war machine militia.
Tensions were high across the nation with other villages, especially since now the Clan was suspected of his mothers doings. Unfortunately, for Norio, the accusations were true and there was no way he could lie about the abductions. It would be his duty now to restore order with other Clans, and Villages during this time. As Norio took the title of the Clan Leader, the village began to become more developed. Metal was seen everywhere, coating the Main Hall, Stables, Family house, and Hospital – soon spreading to civilian homes as protection. The Village was becoming one of steel, that almost seemed impenetrable – but in reality it was thin sheets of metal crafted by the blacksmiths.
Many of the Warriors that grew up during Norio’s mothers reign still seem to hold a blood thirsty view towards war. Feeling the need to honor the Clan Lead at any time, in any way they can. The loyalty of the militia she built up is actually seen in a defined light, the constant training and teaching of the code has seemed to lay a very sturdy foundation for a fine working military.
