Luke is a bit odd in comparison to the other werewolves, seemingly not wanting to harm anyone or anything, being outwardly more humane. Using human technology, reading human books, and just taking a general liking to them, the man happens to possess a trait that has doomed many men throughout the books he's read, ambition. The only thing balancing his hunger for power are his fears and attempts to be what he considers a moral individual. Due to his fears, Luke tries to make himself prepared for any situation and carries around a lot of gear, and in his attempt to be moral he usually ends up serving as a diplomat. Luke is rather reserved in relation to his pack, but to his friends he is a kindhearted man.

Those aren't the reasons he is beta. Intelligent, efficient, and cunning, when wronged he can forget about his desire of being a good individual. At times his vindictiveness can overpower everything else about him, and it is then that Luke is one of the deadliest in his pack.

Other: He is a vegetarian.

Appearance: Luke stands at an unmenacing 5'9" and sports a skinny build. He keeps his black hair short and spiked, this in addition to gray eyes, an angular face, and sharp features makes many consider his human exterior attractive. The man's lightly tanned body is surprisingly near hairless unlike his fellow wolves' human form. The second in command sports a casual attire consisting of a shirt, jeans, and running shoes. The job of keeping him warm is covered by a black hooded coat and matching gloves, and underneath all of this he always conceals a ballistic vest. Among the list of things he always has on him are his rucksack and his watch.

Wolf form- Some of his features carry on into his wolf form in the form of his black fur and grey eyes. Unlike his human form Luke appears skeletal in his wolf form and his fur is unkempt with black tendrils sticking out in all directions. The unhealthy guise deceives his opponents, for he is still as strong as any other werewolf, in most cases stronger. Luke's demeanor switches from confident to jittery and jumpy when transforming from human to wolf, and nothing alludes to his incredible speed and reflexes.

History: Luke doesn't recall much of his early childhood. According to the wolves' who found him crying in the woods his mother was killed by some hunters and the same hunters must've scooped the boy up from his home before leaving him in the forest for whatever reason. Soon after his first contact with the pack he received a photo of his mother from his aunt, however none of the wolves have seen his father due to the couple's desire to keep their relationship and illegitimate child secret. If not for the similar features and lil toddler Luke whining his name, his aunt wouldn't have recognized him. He lived with the pack and when he came of schooling age the boy reentered human society, instantly fascinated by all that he could grasp of it. History! Politics! Weapons! Humans surely were a species all their own. The teen got into many fights with other pack members which resulted in either Luke finishing the fight swiftly or losing a long drawn out fight; the prior happened majority of the time. After finishing high school Luke got a job at the library he loved so much, at first as a pager and then as a library assistant. Now that a war could possibly kill much of what he loves, the man is attempting to find his father and his possible step-family along with attempting to make ties with the right members of other factions. He will do anything to avoid a war.

Personality:
In contrast to her first in command, Rosa appears to be a much colder individual. She is sharp-tongued and sarcastic. She says what is on her mind and doesn't seem to have a filter. She is also strict and has high expectations of other people and if they don't meet her expectations, they should prepare for some lashing out. She is a hardworking, responsible person who does her best to complete any task given to her to the best of her abilities and with efficiency. People are often scared of her because of her personality and her naturally angry-looking face. However, that doesn't mean she is a mean person. She is actually quite nice when people get to know her and has a soft spot for all living things. She is secretly protective and maternal, though that side of her isn't quite obvious to most people.

Rosa is not very tall, standing only at 5"2 but she often wears boots with high heels to make herself seem taller.
She dyes her hair often but at the moment it's black with green streaks.

Equipment/weapons:
Rosa always has some potions on her in case she needs to help heal someone. She also carries a charm that is supposed to "ward off evil". It was given to her by her grandmother so she doesn't exactly know if it works but hopefully it does.

History:
Rosa never had the chance to meet her father because he was slain before she was born. She was raised by her mother and her grandmother who both were witches as well. They taught her everything she knew about magic and potions. It was a peaceful existence and when she was not at school, she was working at her grandmother's charm shop. However as she grew up, she learned that things were not that easy. They struggled to pay rent and business was not as good as it could be. There was also this constant fear that they might be hunted down like her father was.

They weren't alone though. There were other witches like themselves and they stuck together at the Coven. Rosa was extremely grateful for the support and now that she has gotten older, participated more and did her best to help with anything the Coven needed. She was very hardworking and moved up the ranks patiently, only to end up being second in command to some young world traveler who has decided to show up seemingly out of nowhere. At first she was disappointed with the elders'choice, but when she saw him at work, she realized that he was not as incompetent as she thought. He was a talented witch and a responsible leader, so she had no choice but to respect him.

With the threat of war looming over them, Rosa has been doing her best to prepare. While she does want to avoid it, she cannot deny the fact that it is a likely possibility. She wants the Coven to be ready for whatever may happen.

Rowan O' Brien

Personality: Séamus has a very short temper. He will easily launch himself at someone if they make him angry, and he usually has no remorse. He also doesn't show much emotion. He doesn't like werewolves from other packs, but can get along with them after enough time, and with enough cooperation. He doesn't get on too kindly to other male wolves from his own pack, commonly starting fights. Thankfully, he's one of the strongest of the pack, meaning that he usually wins, or the other people give up. He doesn't like letting others give up though, as he'll be done whenever he's finished punishing them for whatever they've done.

Other: Speaks with an Irish accent.

Appearance:

Rowan is six foot five, and very muscular. He has brown/blond hair that he keeps short. He also has body hair on his front, arms, and legs.

Rowan is very strong, and doesn't need any weapons.

History: Rowan was born to a werewolf pack in Ireland. He grew up with five brothers and three sisters, all with whom he fought with. Rowan was the third oldest boy, and the fifth oldest altogether, and was a farmer on his family's land, and grew the strength to do this, and combined with fighting with his siblings, became strong. Tired of not being the top dog, Rowan decided to move to New York when he was 19 in order to try and gain more respect.

Probably one of the lowest in vampire society

Personality

By all accounts and purposes, Preston is not a very good vampire. He is compassionate, gentle, and a coward when it comes to conflict. This makes feeding a chore, having to battle his conscience while still managing to survive. Because of this, his main sources of food are drunks and heavy drug users because it wouldn’t be unusual for them to “pass out” unexpectedly only to awaken later with no memory of what happened. Occasionally, he will partake in group feeding so long as he doesn’t have to make the actual kill.
Preston does not view humans as lower creatures and quite enjoys observing them, although it is hard to be around humans without feeling that instinctual hunger. He thinks the most beneficial course of action for vampires and humans alike would be to make humans aware of the existence of vampires and allow for some sort of mutual feeding agreement that would reduce the need to kill. Of course, he has no delusions about the current state of mind within the general vampire community towards humans and knows that revealing themselves would most likely cause panic more than anything else.

History

Preston was born in New York City in 1923 to working-class parents. He was only a child when the Great Depression hit, forcing his mother out of her job to stay at home while his father continued working hard for even less than he had been earning before. Preston’s family scraped by below the poverty line until 1939 when main economic conditions began to stabilize again.
When WWII rolled around and the United States entered the War in 1941, Preston was 18. His father was already too old to be considered for war, but Preston began to fear he would soon be drafted, knowing that he could never handle a battle situation. If there was a god out there, it certainly heard Preston’s silent prayers every drafting period. Eventually, the war ended and Preston never ended up having to fight, although his peers criticized his cowardice, saying he should have been drafted just because of his squeamishness.
Preston finished school and moved out on his own in 1947, still staying within the city. It was then he met the people that would change the course of his life forever. They had seemed like a normal group of young persons around his age, though he only ever saw them smoking and hanging around at night as he returned to his apartment from work. They approached him one night, inviting him to a dinner gathering of sorts and he politely agreed, just happy to have something social to do for once. He should have felt wary of entering the underground hangout for a dinner party and, needless to say, he ended up being dinner at the end of their fangs.
Of course, he wasn’t the only human they’d invited there. But he was the only one spared from death. These were young and inexperienced vampires. Apparently, one of the girls had taken a liking to him from observing him for quite some time and so she turned him into a vampire as well, essentially gifting him a longer life. Preston didn’t see it as a gift, struggling with the concept of needing to feed at least once a week in order to survive. Fleeing from the group of young vampires, he tried to live off rodent blood for a while, but the taste was so awful, he couldn’t keep it down most nights. The Queens coven took him in, but they soon realized he was useless on hunts and he spends his nights on the receiving end of sneers.
He’s been contemplating leaving the Queens vampire coven for quite some time now, but doubts he would be able to survive on his own.
