I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)

There aren't any real sources on height about the races, but from what I can find from the most useful source (Second post down), the average for an Altmer is 6'8" and for a Breton is 5'9". A big enough difference to indeed be abnormal, so maybe mention that in your appearance section - there are anomalies in every race, after all.

I look forward to seeing the add ons!
@josephb

That's alright bud, do it whenever you're free. I can hardly complain with how long it took me to get your reviews back! XD

Many, many apologies for the delay in these reviews! I've been swamped with Uni work, and I know @Leos Klien has been busy too.

@josephb
Thanks for getting your sheet done so quickly - everything seem's okay except his backstory is a bit short.
The first part is great, but for a guy who's 66 years old, I'd like a little more detail in what's occurred in his life - particularly how he heard about the mercenary group and why he joined; not knowing what to do isn't much of an excuse for such a drastic change in occupations, considering how common death is for such groups. His reasons behind leaving are somewhat iffy as well - if the boy he beat so badly was the boss's son, I think he'd receive a far more brutal punishment than just being kicked out of the company.

So, fix and add some of his backstory and the seal of approval is yours! :D

@BurningCold
Loving the start so far; my own character will be an expert in the Ayleid so they should have some fun conversations on their journeys together! Just a few things to rework:

You've stated in the backstory and race that he's Breton, but his appearance and name say Altmer? Just need to correct that; if he is Altmer, his age is far too young. Both for the start of the IC and his first spelunking trip at 15; while physically I believe Mer develop the same as men, mentally, they don't. It'd be like taking a 7 year old into a ruin; bit dangerous.

I noticed Ayleid translation was under his skills section, but there's no explanation in his backstory about learning it? It would take quite a bit of time of studying to learn the language, at least to the extent that's available in libraries and whatnot. Spelunking into the ruins can definitely yield money and artifacts, but it doesn't mean by default that he knows the language. If he learnt it from his mentor, then you'll have to explain why his mentor knew the language. In fact, some explanation of his mentor's background in everything would be nice - he teaches Adamiir (Sorry, "Not Sheogorath") a lot which is fine, but where did Morinus learn his stuff? Ex Mages Guild? Hermaeous Mora in disguise? Jauffre's secret twin brother who's an expert in all magic?!? sorry I'll stop now

Lastly, his mother. The whole necromancy and escape thing is cool, but I find it hard to believe a dead woman carrying a baby on a horse would get very far. Despite the fact she'd have probably dropped him after dying, there are other factors to consider; the cold, dangerous animals (or Nords lmao), the horse panicking and throwing the two off - nothing is there to protect Adamiir. This would be easily rectified by Morinus finding Adamiir and Talasa while she's still alive, and she dies while he's there; or if you think of something else that can be used, that's fine too.

Oh, and Oakflesh will have to be removed; I'm avoiding Skyrim spells that don't appear in Oblivion just in case they were invented in those 200 years between the two games. So, fix all of those things and he's good to go! :D

And to the both of you; apologies again for the delay.
@Universorum

One of those slots be reserved by myself, if that's all good. Gotta make Vincent's stupid twin sister.
