I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)
Escaping the Blight (1x1)

In my most recent post, Niko has offered to heal both Brona and Bardeck. If you'd like to take up his offer, I'd be happy to do another collab! :)
@Frizan

Well, apparently a Hero's fatal flaw is also one of their greatest traits. Two sides of the same coin and all that.
Roze - Virtue: Kindness. Sin: Greed, for sure.
Rhasha - Virtue: Diligence. Sin: Pride, I guess?
If you asked him what he thought of the 'professional' monster slayer's she was rolling with. He'd call them dumbasses that are setting foot into an actual professional's territory.

Sides, he admited he's no monster slayer so his knowledge is questionable. But he never said he hasn't encountered any of the undying in his life *wink* (not implying that he killed one, just that it's not uncommon to see them in the criminal underground or to get contracted by em)

Okay then? Not really relevant in the OOC, dude - feel free to have Leon say all that, but I can tell you know Lis won't really give a shit (such a bitch rite). The others might though.
@Frizan

Thank God, I thought my suicide buddy had up and suicided without me! Let me know when you get the precious internet back, we can start that boss-ass bitch-fight collab.
@Tangletail

Oh, she isn't calling him a hard man either! Just a stupid one. The statement Leon made was just a throwback to people she'd met in the past; supposed tough guys who pretended to know what they were talking about.

Edit: But yes, she is a cynical bitch and she loves it.
Kayden's wandering hand did not go unnoticed by Lis; she herself had several daggers and knives hidden about her body, as she appreciated how easy it was to suddenly be in an unexpectedly dangerous situation. There was some relief in seeing their Captain too felt the same way; it proved he thought ahead. In fact, the longer Lis knew Kayden, the more she believed he was a decent leader; her final assessment would have to wait until after their first skirmish, however. It was all well and good being headstrong in a calm situation, but she'd see who he - and the others - truly were in the Banian Manor. Regardless of this, she could see he was the humorous sort. Despite her foul mood, she was tempted to smile as the apple rolled down his arm - taking it wordlessly, Lis took to tossing it lightly in the air as they walked as opposed to eating it.

Although the sun grew brighter and hotter with each passing moment, Lis' tired headache was beginning to subside; a gentle breeze accompanied the blazing heat, ruffling through her tied-up hair in a refreshing manner. Alongside the daily racket of a busy town, and the charming music of street buskers, Lis was beginning to feel much more at home in Starkvale. The people here didn't seem to care about newcomers as so many places in the past had; tiny villages and towns in Bania, cut off from most outside contact, nearly always acted inhospitable towards her and the group she had journeyed with. Even outside of the monster-ridden country, she found the same to be true. More often than not it was suspicious groups of humans, immediately mistrusting her because she came from somewhere else... and was obviously not normal looking to them. Here in Starkvale however, once you got past the gates, nobody really seemed to care who you were.

As they walked past the music players, a young, skinny girl was jumping enthusiastically next to the dark-skinned woman; she was clearly a street urchin, if her ragged clothes and thin frame was anything to go by. She met Lis' eyes momentarily, and froze as she noticed the woman's expression. To Lis, she was feeling vaguely content, but her face rarely showed that what with a naturally down-turned mouth and sharp eyes. Swiftly plastering a smile on her face, Lis slyly tossed the apple to the kid as she and the group walked past, smile becoming more genuine as the girl scrambled to catch it, face lighting up. Fresh fruit was probably a rare thing to eat for a child on the streets - without risking to steal one, that was.

Right before she was about to reply to Kayden, one of their new members spoke up. Her feeling of contentment disappeared.

She'd met plenty of people like Leon; young men, talking big because they thought they'd "seen some shit". To her, having a few skirmishes in the under belly of a city did not count as "some shit". And after these supposedly big, tough lads came across a real monster? Well... they became very acquainted with shit, as did their undergarments. Turning to look at him, one eyebrow slowly raising at his misplaced enthusiasm, Lis wished she hadn't given away that apple; her fingers itched to pelt it at this idiot's head.

"Agreed - you are not a monster slayer. A real monster slayer wouldn't recommend such a thick-headed plan." She began, her tone calm but scathing. "First of all, we're not marks for you to try and scam. I don't even want to know how you'd go about making an oil containing silver, but it's a stupid plan regardless. A sword isn't a damned sponge; any oil your pour onto it will just make it slick and useless to attack with. The last thing you need around a leech of all things is to be fumbling with a greasy hilt, because you thought it would be cheaper and faster than getting a real weapon." The last few words were enunciated a bit more harshly, echoing the man's own ill-considered suggestion. With that over and done with, Lis straightened her face out to a somewhat neutral expression as she looked back to Kayden.

"I'd recommend getting both Valdium and silver weapons. They both have different properties that would be useful to us. If you're concerned about cost, then steel with some silver folded into it would be about as effective. We could also look into silver we could wear. A fellow I knew back in Bania wore a silver choker - it looked like a dog collar, and the rest of us made sure to remind him of that on a daily basis. But it saved him from a bite more than once." She said, recalling the memory. The rest of the group didn't need to know that the guy had died anyway. Silver did nothing when a troll was beating you to death.

Not sure why you keep referring to Kayden as a Dwarf. I've pointed out to you twice now that he's a human, and you still haven't edited your first post to fix that. Please fix both of your posts - and if you're confused over something, let us know.
@Dervish

We'll bang, okay?
With the remainder of the beasts dispatched by the group, the exhausted - and injured, in some cases - volunteers were able to reflect in relative safety about what had just happened. They had lost their de facto leader, and their best Scout. The tower ahead most likely lead to both salvation and more horrors like what they had just witnessed, but there was no point in turning back now. They had come much farther than the Kvatch guards had, and pulling out would be nothing but cowardly... and likely bring certain doom to those still trapped in the Kvatch Chapel. Naenya cast her eyes about the group, breathing the smallest sigh of relief upon seeing nobody was dead. All limbs were still attached, nobody was on fire, and guts were still nestled in bellies.

"I think we should have only a small rest." The haggard, halting tone came from the blonde Nord, stood by two injured fellows and a surprisingly chipper looking dog. The Nord seemed unsure on what to do; it had been easier on just following the imperial woman without asking questions, under the assumption that she just happened to be the leader. Wiping his swords on his pants, he placed one back in it's scabbard, the other hanging loosely from his palm as he looked about the others. "We don't want to run into a group like that again while we have injured; the sooner we're done, the sooner we can leave this damned place in one piece." While Naenya understood his haste, part of her still wanted to linger in this realm just a bit longer. Yes, two of their number had just been quite brutally and gruesomely murdered, but there was still so much to learn! Even now in the distance, she could see strange, flesh coloured pods dangling from rocks; large rust coloured roots that twitched in a suspiciously alive manner - even the bloodgrass that scattered the dusty land had amazing alchemical qualities that she would have just loved to tamper with. However, with so many hurt, even with small injuries, she knew it would have to wait.

Being quite lucky in avoiding harm herself (One of the scamps didn't last long against her magic - she'd been tempted to summon her own Scamp and watch on for entertainment, but it was a blood-thirsty little fellow, and she didn't want to accidentally give it a friend), Naenya turned to those who were injured, offering a smile up as she offered to heal their ailments. For reasons that she couldn't even comprehend, there were people out there who not only didn't learn magic, but outright refused to! When a simple restoration spell could mean the difference between life or death, the Bosmer found herself baffled at such half-witted actions... not that such opinions needed to be aired now.

Niko too turned to his fallen comrades; the Imperial man and woman, still behind him. As with Naenya, Niko was glad to see that none of their number had met the same fate as Glenndus, and with such a small victory, managed a tired smile at the both of them.

"Forgive me - I didn't catch your names in the Chapel." He began, glancing to the young warrior's wounds first; a hamstring injury was not something to be taken lightly, especially when fully-functioning legs could carry you away from danger far better than fighting could. Readying a healing spell in the palm of his hand, Niko's eyes met Bardeck's. "May I?" He asked, motioning towards the fellow's wounds.
