Okay official board (will also be posted in the Character Tab): **1**-Pennsylvania **2**-Washington **3**- Dakota, North **4**- Blank **5**-Iowa **6**- Dakota, South **7**- Alaska **8**-Carolina **9**- Blank **10**-Blank
North was up earlier than most of the other agents. He’d never had trouble sleeping and he often slept deeply, meaning he felt rested quicker than some people. Walking out into the quiet halls he began roaming around. Most other people were still asleep and eventually he found himself in what was probably considered the main briefing hub. This was there they’d been inducted and received their codenames. It was where they’d gathered on day two to start the first round of testing and day three when they’d been briefed on the simulation stage. He suspected once things got more intense and they started getting sent on actual missions they would be briefed here too. However now, displayed on the wall was a large digital board with names listed on it, numbered from one to twenty five. There hadn't been the full fifty agents when they’d first arrived here, though he’d never gotten around to counting them properly. South would know the exact number. Some of the names down the bottom were actually blacked out and he suspected they were the ones who weren’t lucky enough to make it. Leaving only nineteen lit up with the top ten larger and in a different colour. “F.L.I.S.S what is this?” “The Agent Leader Board Agent North Dakota. Scores from your testing have determined where you place in relation to other agents. Alternations will be made based on a number of factors as time goes by.” He nodded slightly as his eyes scanned down the board; however he stopped in surprise when he saw he was third down the line. Penn was actually first and some agent named Washington he hadn’t met yet just above him. Iowa was fifth, South sixth and Carolina eighth. There were other names, but they weren’t names he could match to people at the moment. After studying it for a while he moved off, heading back to his room where he quickly woke South. “I don’t wanna get up yet.” She groaned softly, rolling away from him. “Get up!” He insisted, shaking her again. “Come on, you gotta come see this. Eventually he did manage to get the girl up and she trudged after him slowly, still in her pyjamas. South was not a morning person even on the best of days and when she was presented with the board there were a few other people around now and the girl just looked at him in confusion for a few minutes before she looked to him again. “Are you sure?” North simply smiled slightly, nodding as he placed a hand on her head and ruffled her hair, feeling proud she’d done so well.
As the others dispersed both South and North moved off, South narrowly managing to convince North to hold off on the combat training until tomorrow. It had just been too much of a stressful day. Everyone was drained and right now, despite the fact that she probably needed it, she was just not in the right headspace to be attacking things. Lying there in the quiet of the late hours, since there was still no night or day they really only had the clocks to dictate when they should be trying to sleep and how often they should eat. It may seem odd to some, but the ship did a good job of simulating night and day, it got a few degrees colder at ‘night’ and a lot of the lights were dimmed or turned off all together. South’s mind wondered, as it usually did as North slept. He thought she just slept a lot but her mind was just too active to fall asleep quickly when it was bed time. She pulled out her own data tablet and began just playing around on it. In truth most of the things she ‘heard’ or ‘was told’ she usually simply found out herself though less than encouraged measures. Tonight though, she was just too exhausted to bother hacking into the systems again. In the end she ended up asleep as she usually did, her tablet resting on her chest as she breathed lightly. She hadn't done too much, just checked some of the security footage, it didn’t have anywhere near as much security attached to it as the data files did. Some agents were still being tested, whether because they’d started later or their simulation was just going oddly long she didn’t have time to think about.
I have no idea what UK time it is, but I'm happy to wait until you post, helps with continuity anyway. So I'll just have North and South heading off to bed since everyone else is too once yours is up I'll have the board posted and then we'll likely move into training where we can focus a lot more on character interaction and then we'll send em on a few missions.
Also may have to change the leader board around a little, just going off CS Eisenhorn we may have to move Penn and North down a slot if that's okay? Like I said not sure yet, but Wash will likely take out leader spot. If not I'm happy to just move North down, put Wash in slot 2. We'll probably stick Alaska in either 5, 7 or 9. I have no clue how she's gonna go so I'll leave her for now. Also, for ease of access I'm going to stick the up on the first page of the OOC, util I realised I couldn't because you can't edit old posts anymore. Grr. So I'm going to stick it up on the Character tab over the top of my guys so that it's easily accessed for reference and thought any and all updates will be posted in IC or OOC it will still be nice to have a quick point of reference. Happy posting everyone <3
Ohhh... haha. No no it's all fine. I don't mind at all :) Like I said because their relationship seems fairly different to the way I'm playing mine I think another set of siblings will be interesting, on the other hand close friendship isn't a thing we have yet either. I'm going to leave it up to you knowing I won't mind either way. Feel free to post away. Since you've missed a fair bit already though you can go back and do all their testing, if that's what you want. Or we can purposely have them come in as late runners and just do the stage 3 after everyone else, just so I can figure out where they sit on the board though I feel like they'll both be fairly high up there.
Despite the fact that I already kinda coined the brother/sister thing with my characters I think your should be fine, since their relationships seems vastly different to mine. And so long as everyone else doesn't mind the fact that the amour colours are similar, since purple and blue look fairly similar, I have no issues so long as any major plot twist/points you have are run by me. Other than that you're good to go <3

Okay so mock leader board until official post: Penn's up the top North 3rd Iowa 4th 5th South 7th Carolina 9th 10th But with the intention of bumping Carolina up fairly quickly, but keeping him around 2nd or third. Also we'll probably have a few NPC names in there to flesh it out into a top 10. We'll probably move most of the main characters up as well so they end up being the top 5. Side note Phage did message me a little bit ago saying she had to drop out because of personal reasons. So we'll make California one of those who 'didn't make it' though stage 3.
“You wanna talk about it?” The words caused North to look up sharply from his food, South sitting there quietly and smiling at him reassuringly. He smiled back but eventually shook his head. “Not really. It’s all done now as far as I’m concerned, the sooner we get over it and forget the better.” South smiled a little brighter and nodded back. North had been one of the first to complete his simulation, so he’d seen many of the other agents leave after their tests. Some didn’t come out at all. As far as he was concerned he and South had gotten off easy based off other’s reactions. Or else they just took it better. They had each other though, an almost constant source of reassurance. Maybe that was why. Or maybe it was simply that because the other was there they were able to accept that it wasn’t real. When they were joined by Iowa both shared reassuring smiles with the other agent. They were there for each other, but they were also forming quick bonds with some of the other agents and certainly they’d be there for any of them too. North looked over at South at the comment. “I was actually planning on taking this one here over to one of the training rooms, seeing if we can get her some combat training.” South looked down slightly, embarrassed. North knew she had issues killing or even hurting other people. And he was trying to help. Carolina arrived soon after and he sat down silently. Both siblings gave each other concerned looks and South offered him a sympathetic smile. However at his look North’s face became grave. “I can’t think of many things worse than what happened in there.” “I can.” South echoed emptily. Despite everything, she couldn’t imagine what life would be like if she lost North. Dying was one thing, but having to live without him… she couldn’t think of an emptier world. “But that’s beside the point. They’re over now. And they weren’t real. There shouldn’t be any more testing, from what I’ve heard. I was told that there won’t be any results until tomorrow though, too many variables and some shit like that they have to calculate in.” She rolled her eyes slightly. “Sounds like a load of BS to me.”
